Waldorf Astoria Naples - Napoli

Avslappende og flott hotell i Naples. Flotte svømmebasseng, generelt bra service og god mat. Frokosten var i minste og dyreste laget (kun frukt og toast og kaker, ingen pålegg med unntak av syltetøy). I nærheten (200 m) er det et kjøpesenter med flere restauranter som er bra. Flott beliggenhet, og høy service. Andre gangen vi er der, og vi kommer tilbake. Perfekt i midtuken, da er det lite folk. Lett fremkomst til shopping, restauranter, serverdigheter; Orlando, Everglades, Miami, KW etc.

Vi sto i kø en halvtime for å følge hotelltransporten til og fra stranden. Hotellrommene er litt slitt og bassengområdet spesielt. Store rom. Byttet fra bungalows til hotell fordi bungalows var langt fra hovedbasseng og litt slitte.

Loved the hotel and the surrounding area. The room was clean and nicely decorated, it had a decent view of the water, the bathroom had two sinks (which is very convenient when you're traveling with someone), the beds/pillows were very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only minor complaint I had was that they never replaced the […] burned-out bulb in one of our lamps, which I reported upon our arrival. But if that's the biggest problem you have, I'd say you're doing well. If you want a hotel right on the beach, however, this isn't it; you have to take a tram or walk through Clamshell Park (0.6 mi.) to get to the beach. For us, it didn't really matter because we enjoy being poolside more than the beach and this hotel has two swimming pools and a lap pool. I also liked the proximity to downtown Naples and other places we wanted to see, while remaining a little off the busy main highway (Rt. 41). Bottom line, I'd definitely go back to this hotel. Great staff---15 clay courts---great food down the street

Loved everything about this hotel! Location was awesome for going to the beach. Pool was wonderful! Loved having the food/drink stand on deck by beach. So convenient! And this hotel was very kid friendly:)

The Waldorf Astoria should make most people very happy. It has a 3 great pools, a great spa and onsite restaurants. Rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel is beautiful. I didn't know that the parking garages have no elevators connecting the lobby and this is quite a drawback. If you have a lot of baggage the staff will help you but it's definitely […] not something that I would expect from an Astoria hotel to omit elevators to the parking level. Les mer

Very nice hotel, a bit expensive but worth it. The only thing is that in the pool area they need to put more seats, but the rest it was excelent!

A very nice hotel, but a bit sterile at first blush. We would say it is a Broadmoor or Four Seasons wannabe. Has a way to go, but pool area is terrific and beach is very good after an interesting little trip to get there. Viewfrom view-room very good.

Great hotel and very accomodating staff. Went by the front desk at 10:00 pm to see what time the lobby store closed and was told it was closed, but that they would call someone to open it. Couldn't believe they would open, but they said they always want to accomodate their guests! Loved everything about the hotel!

Nice location and fine presentation. However, the $27 resort fee seemed high when the only amenities where the pool and a lounge chair at the beach. There were no kayaks, or other water sport equipment available for guests.

This hotel was recommened to me by a friend. friendly staff and nice location. To my disappointment I found a roach in my room and comforter was dirty with yellow spots. Also, while at breakfast there were flies in the restaurant. I reported the bug incident to front desk and they immediately addressed the matter, with no consideration to guests still […] being in the room. We had a wonderful weekend, the beach was nice and the hotel was a-one!

I can't even think of one disappointing aspect. The room was beautiful, the linens great, shower was fantastic, service at the pool was wonderful, spa incredible and a beautiful boardwalk to the gulf- or jump on their golf cart for a quick trip! The service, staff, and facilities were nicer than the Ritz Carlton and Lowes Miami. And the Waterside mall […] is just next door! Awesome! Definitely going back!! Les mer

Wonderful hotel great place to just lay back and relax. Wonderful staff , great beach, and local area full of good shopping and resturants.

My stay here was wonderful. The hotel was clean, the staff was very helpful and the location was terrific...walking distance to a beautiful mall. Great experience overall!! Would recommend this hotel.

VERY nice hotel but lots of kids running around. i personally did not mind but would not go there if i was looking for a more romantic getaway. great beach and pool and amazing restaurants on 5th ave.

This hotel was a pleasure to stay at for new Year's. Very comfortable and in an excellent location for shopping and fine dining. Fitness Ctr. was great and the neighborhoods nice for a morning run. A little slow service at the coffee bar, but overall I would recommend it and shall return. Jeff

The Naples Grande was so nice, we extended our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious with bar area. Beds had great linens with sheet-blanket-sheet comfort, and the bath had double sinks, separate tub and shower- and the shower was awesome. Spa was beautiful, both pools were great- and heated. Tram to the gulf if the long boardwalk […] is too much to walk! The concierge was also very helpful and quickly faxed some papers for us. Loved it! Les mer

Great place. Planned to stay one night but decided to spend the rest of our vacation there.

Great hotel, great service and the pools are ideal for kids. We enjoyed the stay and can fully recommend this hotel.

We liked this hotel, it had everything we needed.

This hotel charges you a daily resort fee that is ridiculous. We had no hot water for 3 days and finally changed rooms. The bugs were terrible at night, therefore you could not enjoy the sunset. Could not enjoy a cup of tea in the room - only a dirty coffee pot. Had to pay extra for a refrigerator which they charged us twice for. Weekend night escape with fiancee. From the begining until the end the experience was phenomenal. The tram ride to the beach just an outstanding day in Naples. Cant wait to do it again.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great part of town. i highly recommend it. It is not on the beach though keep in mind that you do need to take a trolley to the beach.

I had the most wonderful Birthday vacation, everyone was so nice. This will be my second yearly birthday vacation and it was just fantastic.

Service was excellent, everybody went out of their way to make my stay perfect. Special attention goes to waitress Amy, not only she was professional, courteous and she cared. She went out of her way to help me with my diet needs! Concierge Ms Chris was also fantastic. She quickly picked up I needed assistance getting around and there she was to help […] me! I thought that being asked to pay an additional cost at check in was in very poor taste. the explanation given when I called to voice my dissatisfaction with this charge is not very good for such a fine hotel. I believe the additional charge should have been included in the price of the room; instead of the appearance of trying to get a few extra dollars […] from the unsuspecting guest, Les mer

Management Staff was much improved from previous visits-very professional and customer service oriented! Great job with the decor! Definitely the most upbeat atmosphere in Naples!

The hotel is located on one of the best pieces of property in Naples. While not directly on the beach, a tram just alongside the pool area gets you there in a few mintues time. Strangely, the resort fee does not apply to umbrellas on the beach (it does apply to the beach chairs) and you will be asked to pay a fee to use an umbrella. The pool area is […] one of the best in Naples. Two pools, one kid friendly with a slide, and one just off the spa area, which is decidely more serene (with a whirlpool as well). The staff at the front desk needs some training as they were clearly not an "all smiles" group. The initial greeting was gruntlike, and there was no mention of the "package" we had booked or how to utilize the benefits. We were slightly early for our check-in (around 3pm) and when we came back for our 4pm check-in our reception was a whole lot better from another member of the staff. The hotel runs a great happy hour on Friday nights so look for it when you arrive. The rooms are very comfortable with ample space and well appointed bathrooms. We were somewhat suprised though that there really is no good place to watch the sunset. While there is an area called the "Sunset Deck" and you can see the gulf from the deck, you can not see the sun receding into the water due to the trees which line the pool. We were suprised that there was no other deck from which to watch the sunset. Overal , we would definitely return to this hotel. Les mer

First thing you need to know is it is NOT on the beach. It is a three quarter mile hike through a park to the beach. They say they have transport but the wait was up to an hour. Although the hotel is not on the beach, it was still a great experience. I was slightly disappointed by this, but from my room there were views of the Gulf. The room and the service were lovely. A friend and I met at the resort for a relaxing get-together. We were not disappointed. The hotel is lovely and the staff very accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. We both used the spa services and loved the atmosphere as well as the professional staff. There is a wonderful large waterfall pool for families as well as a smaller, quieter […] pool. My husband and I are Florida locals and wanted to get away for a quiet weekend on the beach. The hotel looked beautiful and luxurious on the website (and truly was) and the rate was very reasonable as well. Unfortunately, as beautiful as it was, it had more kids than a weekend at IKEA. Having a quiet romantic meal was never possible (even at 10 pm!). The […] spa was the only place we could get some quiet time... that is until the band kicked in just on the other side of the wall.
