Kort vei til/fra O'Hare int. flyplass. Utenfor Chicago sentrum, så enkelt å komme seg videre uten å havne i tung trafikk. Koselige og høflige ansatte og Legends sportsbar inkorporert i lobby området for å innta middag og drinker til normal pris. Store og fine rom; litt slitte, men rene. Frokosten var langt over middels med utvidet continental frokost. Fitnessrommet var veldig enkelt, men fikk trent basis. Nabolaget er noe slitent forstads- men virket greit.

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og for å få sett Chicago. Personalet der var superhyggelige, og rommene var helt nyoppusset. Vi hadde rom med parkering, og dette fungerte svært bra. Vi slet med å finne hotellet ut fra GPS, og når vi sjekket inn fikk vi høre at dette var et problem for mange av hotellets gjester (TIPS: Når GPS sier at du har kommet til oppgitt adresse, men du ikke ser hotellet, kjør da rett frem gjennom første lyskryss, så vil du se hotellet et lite stykke etter lyskrysset). Vi anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet for andre!

Hotell valt i utg.pkt pga nær O'Hare-flyplassen. Svært praktisk, to stoppestader frå flyplassen med t-banen (Cumberland). I tillegg lett, rimeleg og kjapt å koma seg med 'blue line' til sentrum av Chicago på same banen. Middels pluss service i skranken på hotellet. Frukost visstnok berre svært lettvint, med 'småkaker' eller liknande. Nytta ikkje dette tilbodet sjølv. Ok reinhald på romma. Var på to forskjellige under opphaldet mitt. Restaurant næraste nabo på eine sida av hotellet, også parkeringsplass knytt til denne, utan at eg fann dette sjenerande. 7 minutts spasertur tek deg til diger supermarknad, der du finn alt du måtte trenga. Også andre småsjapper og ein frisør. 5 minutt til fots til t-banestasjonen. Motorvegen like ved og tidvis flytrafikk over, men gjorde ingenting av betydning. Godt støyisolert.

I was very impressed with my stay. My wife enjoyed the surrounding shopping malls and restuarants to choose from. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and accomodating to our needs. Also, the free shuttle to and from the mall was a plus. I plan on staying there again in the near future.

Stayed here the night before a local interview so the location was extremely convenient for me, but Schaumburg is a suburb of Chicago. So you are are at least 40 minutes from the city. The room and bathroom were super clean. There was a little table with tons of outlets so I could work. Breakfast was included and while not great (mostly pre-packaged […] stuff - yogurt in containers, instant oatmeal, toaster waffles - and on paper plates and plastic utensils) it was sufficient - had hard boiled eggs and toast. Overall it was perfectly fine for the price I paid - and the room was super quiet at night which was major bonus. Les mer

We really enjoyed our stay. Legoland was very close and the room was clean and inexpensive.

"Noisy on a weekend night"
The bed was nice. The hotel and room were clean but outdated. The ancient heating unit worked fine. The only complaint was that it was noisy on the weekend. The walls were not thin but you could everything out in the hallway very loud and clear. The location was great, very close to the mall and IKEA.

Very pleased with the hotel right next to the mall lots to do there. Very nice room, clean. Only negative I can say is that it is next to Dennys and they get alot of traffice there late at night and they are very noisy, woken up several times both nights but not a fault of the hotel. From the moment we walked into the hotel until we checked out the following day...can't say enough about the quality service, comfortable beds and great location for this hotel. Kudos to the management and staff at this La Quinta location. We will DEFINITELY stay at this facility again and again!!!

4 day stay. Had to ask for room to be cleaned after being gone for 7 hours day 1. Noticed something amiss.Sheets felt lived in. Day 2 room cleaned but sheets still felt the same. Marked sheets, day 3 sheets not changed. Marked sheets still there. Notified the desk that I would like to sleep my last night on clean sheets and they had a lazy house keeper. […] All else was fine. I went the with group of friends to hang out in Chicago. Everything was great until the next morning my friend pulled off his covers and and out popped a used condom wrapper. Then it was completely disgusting both of us felt sick to our stomachs.

Very convenient. Located next ot Woodfield Mall. 15 minutes from O'Hare. There is some obvious age, but they were in the process of installing new carpeting. No complaints about the room or the price.

This hotel is a pit- dirty, old and a bit on the scary side.The rate it as 3 stars but it barely a 2 star property. Plus, I'd never swim in the outdoor pool.

Found the room to be very clean, roomy, and conveniently located to the Interstate. Hotel staff was very friendly and accomadating. I did not take advantage of the continental breakfast so I am not able to comment on that. Overall I would stay here again.
Great price and great location. Had an out door poor and located near the Woodfield mall.

We had a problem finding our ID to check in. The staff couldn't have been nicer and it all worked out. The room was clean and we slept like logs. Also, loved the free wifi. We went into Chicago via the Metra the next day and had a blast. Thanks La Quinta!! Only drawback--the pool's outside and it's nothing special.

This is a great hotel in a great location with very affordable rates. We have stayed here several times. The staff is very nice and go out of their way to help. We would definitely recommend staying there.

I got checked in and went to my room. It hadn't been cleaned. I tracked down a house keeper a few rooms away and she and another did come in and clean the room. However through out the week the cleanings were very spotty. The key cards kept not working. At one point I went out to me vehicle and was able to make it back into the hotel however, the key […] card didn't work in my door. At midnight when your tired the last thing you want to do is go to the front desk and wait for help to get your key card reset.. The staff overall was nice and were sure to give apologies but when your already frustrated apologies only go so far. Price of the room was fair. I didn't feel a fifty dollar charge for a mini fridge was though. Les mer

There was noting extraordinary about the room or hotel, but in a lot of ways thats good. Things were clean, neat, and servicable. The only thing that stands out as less than desirable is the elevator location. It is in the back of the hotel, so that you have a long walk from the front all the way to the back just to go back to the front of the building […] depending where your room is. Otherwise I had noting to complain in the least about. I will definately come back when in the area. Les mer

While the rooms were a bit small, and the beds were doubles, not queens, the room was clean and acceptable. A decent breakfast but if you want something more there was a Denny's and late night Wendy's right next door. Walk to shopping and movies. I like a little more luxury but I wasn't willing to splurge this time. I would stay again.

Overall the hotel was nice bur our room smelled horrible. Seemed to be mildew and I woke up with my nose stopped up. The maid didn't replace towels and coffee supplies properly. The continental breakfast was nice though and staff made sure everything was fully stocked.

I feel that we got a great deal when we booked with LaQuinta. I was nervous about the star rating, but the location was ideal and within walking distance to the mall. Due to traffic, we were a late arrival, but we checked in effortlessly and within minutes, we were in our room. Our room was surprisingly comfy and modern. We also enjoyed the pool which […] was clean and actually wasn't full of kids. My only thought on changing something would be that the bathroom could've been a bit bigger. This hotel is starting to show its age with its dated decor and amenities. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable and the friendly, helpful staff made the stay enjoyable. The hotel is close to shopping and services and less than 10 minutes from the train station for trips into downtown Chicago. Overall it is a decent stay for a budget price.

The doors are loud and walls thin! You hear everything all night! Good for 1 night get sways only! Anything else would exaust you from lack of rest!
