Store rene og flotte rom med god temperatur. Døgnåpen informasjonensdesk med veldig god service. God beliggenhet med gåavstand, samt taxi tilgjengelig til enhver tid. Lekker frokostbuffet! Spesielt godt fornøyd med lobby og barområdet hvor vi kunne samles et par timer på kvelden før vi gikk til hvert vårt rom!:):)

Hotellet lå svært sentralt, bare 150 meter fra Sheaperds Bush stasjonen, som ligger på Central line (den røde undergrunnen). Ved stasjonen ligger også Westfield, et stort, nytt handlesenter. Jeg hadde bestillt rom med to enkelsenger og da de ikke hadde det, fikk jeg oppgradering til et rom med kingsize seng. Rommet var stort og flott, nydelige badehåndklær og badekåper.

Veldig hyggelig lite hotell med god service. Veldig behjelpelige med bestillnger til restauranter. Deilig frokost.

Alt i alt så er det et helt greit hotel. Betjeningen var veldig bra og de ansatte var veldig behjelpelig og hyggelige. 2 min gange til St.James Park t-bane, og derfra lett å komme seg inn til selve sentrum. Stort pluss for det :-) Starbucks på begge sidene av inn-utgang skal også nevnes. Spiste ikke frokost på hotellet, da vi heller valgt å spise ute. […] Så kan ikke si noe om den. "Nabo til Buckingham Palace"
Nærheten til Buckingham Palace og kun et par hundre meter til nærmeste undergrunn, St. James's Park, er grunn nok til å besøke Crowne. Bra standard, fine rom og god service en annen god grunn. Frokost er ikke inkludert og koster ca 20 pund, men ta heller undergrunnen til hvorsomhelst og spis for halve prisen i nærheten av en eller annen severdighet […] som du sikkert likevel skal besøke. "Fint hotell i London"
Hotellet er bra, men ikke book rom i 1-2. etasje. Vi hadde rom i 1. etasje og ble vekket hver morgen av tuben som gikk rett under hotellet (tror klokken var ca. 05:30). Ellers hadde vi det fint :)

Det er noe slitt, men har masse sjarm. Beligenheten er helt topp, fordi den er gang avstand til alt det enn vil oppleve av London, som parken, t-banen og sentrum.

Crown Plaza St James - sentralt og samtidig rolig og fredelig beliggenhet. Gåavstand til Buckingham, Big Ben, London Eye osv. Hyggelig betjening på hotellet med koselige barer og resturanter. Vi prøvde den indiske resturanten med stjerne i Michelin guiden - anbefales! Vi hadde rom mot bakgårde hvor det viste seg å være en skole med mye støy på morgenen […] da det hørtes ut som 200 elever hadde utetime. Spør om få et rom ut mot hotellets egen bakgård. Les mer
"Flott hotell med en veldig hyggelig betjening!"
Vi er veldig fornøyd med vårt opphold. Vi ble behandlet kjempe bra, servicen var upåklgelig og det var aldri noe vi mannglet. Vil ABSOLUTT anbefale dette hotellet til andre. Det ligger svært sentralt, kun en kort gåtur til sentrum. :)

This hotel was well worth the money compare to other hotels in the region. I have stayed in 5 other hotels in London recently and this one is so far the best hotel I have stayed in and it is not even the most expansive. Crowne Plaza is located in walking distance to London Eye (10 – 15 minutes) and all surrounding attractions, if you don’t want to walk, […] it cost less than $5 to get there with a Taxi and that is cheaper than the subway if you are more than one person (walking distance to the subway is half the way to London Eye or about 5 minutes) The food is excellent, and the service far better than excellent. The Room I stayed in was absolutely fantastic, but again, it was a superior room ;) The surroundings to the hotel are very well with a back yard with a water fountain and a heated smoking area for those who like that. The restaurant was in the same style. So no Doubt, I will use this one again ;) Les mer

hotelet ligger bare 3 min. fra buckingham palace, som gjør at du kan nyte london sentrum til fots, selve bygge var greit, faktisk bedre an forventet, og service var bra, men de ville nok ha litt penger for internett. til en helgebesøk i london anbefales hotellet.
Rolig og sentralt. God service. Noen rom trenger vedlikehold. Mange spisesteder i nærheten. Gå avstand til slottet og park. T-bane stasjon i nærheten.

Fin beliggenhet. En av Londons eldste puber på hjørnet ved hotellet. Litt "posh"strøk. Hotellet har høy standard, men ikke alle i resepsjonen var like hjelpsomme.

Perfekt beliggenhet, med gangavstand til mange av de beste severdighetene. Slik som Buckingham Palace,Westminister Abbey, Houses of Parlament, London Eye, Somerset House, Tate Modern, Covent Garden, Soho, Chinatown, Hyde Park etc. Hotellet bød på topp service fra adkomst, via Concierge til room-service.Meget bra. Hotellet har også to restauranter, hvorav […] den som vender mot den hyggelige bakgården, var den beste. "All right hotel - very good location"
Pros: - Excellent location (!), you can do Buckingham palace and Westminster in no time. Tube: St. James's Park is very close, and Victoria station a short walk away. Bus stops available in Victoria street. - In general very positive, service-minded staff. - Tiled, modern bathroom, lovely huge towels, - Large room, we had an extra bed in our room, it […] did not feel crowded at all. Cons: - The carpet was very dirty (ugh!). - Overpriced breakfast!!! (And it didn't taste well either). Best tip: Skip it and eat somewhere else. Les mer
"Great location, helpful staff"
This is a stylish yet old-world feeling hotel a block from Buckingham Palace. It is beautiful and the staff were quite accomodating. It is, however, in the process of being renovated and paint odorl gave one of us a headache all 3 nights we stayed. Still, the renovations are well-done with glamourous new bathrooms, we walked to Parliament, London Eye, […] and Buckingham Palace, and the courtyard is lovely. Unfortunately, it was very cold when we were in London, so we could not enjoy the courtyard. If there in warmer weather, it would be an elegant place to enjoy tea or a drink. Lovely hotel. Newly refurbished room on the fifth floor was lovely and so quiet, you wound know you were in London. 5 min walk to St James's Park tube.

Room was a bit small but was only there for one night. Hotel was a few blocks from Buckingham Palace and alot of great pubs and restaurants. Would TOTALLY stay there again next time I visit London!

"Crown Plaza London St James near Scotland Yard"
We liked the location - not on the main road and the entrance was very welcoming. The reception was very polite and we were made to feel well looked after. We were offered a paper and wake up call for the next morning. We were not so impressed with the room. It was quite small and the bathroom had seen better days. Beautiful hotel in a terrific location with excellent, helpful staff. Only downside were the amenities in the room. We stayed in a King Suite, the robes were very hard and threadbare, badly needing replacement. Towels and toiletries were limited to two each. Even only two biscuits with the coffee/tea supplies! There was a charge of over £20 to use the […] TV, this is scandalous, basic channels such as CNN and Sky News should be free!!!!!! Also our outlook was the side of another building and a ventilation system, very disappointing for a King Suite! Les mer

This hotel is great for folks in London on business. The St James tube is within minutes and getting to St James from Heathrow is easy if the fast link to Paddington is used.

Crowne Plaza pride themselves on their image well their staff lived up to this as they were all very helpfull indeed But their room did not The room I had was very small & the most disapointing part was the clearence at the end of the bed around 18" to 24" one could not walk past the end of the bed but "Skuttle" & was even worse when using the bathroom […] at night Les mer

FOUND THE STAFF VERY HELPFUL. HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND REASONABLY MODERN WITH A GREAT GYM WHICH WAS FREE. THIS HOTEL WAS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING WE WANTED TO ACCESS. ONLY 1 BLOCK FROM ST. JAMES UNDERGROUND STATION AND 2 BLOCKS FROM THE VICTORIA TRAIN STATION. LOTS OF REASONABLY PRICED CAFES IN THE SURROUNDING AREA.
"Wonderful Staff with a Great Location"
We picked this hotel for it's location - right around the corner from Buckingham Palace, but we enjoyed it most due to the large room (which was a surprise), the great staff and the very cozy lounge. The hotel was very 'comfortable'. We we also able to walk just about everywhere. We loved it.
The Hampton Lounge was excellent and service excellent.

For a "Quick" London visit- 2 1/2 days prior to a cruise ,this was the perfect place to stay. Hotel was nice, clean and super convenient. It was an easy walk to all of our "have to see" locations. A real deal for the price!
"Wonderful experience"
From the moment we arrived (7:30 a.m.) we felt so comfortable and well tended to. This was a great location for walking to many things. We absolutely loved our room and the staff was so attentive. This was a wonderful experience for us and I will highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Check-in was very slow. Courtyard restaurant and bar wait staff rude and ignored us. They also became agitated when we asked for a menu! Bellman did not hire the correct taxi. Bath tub dirty, rusty with mold. Robe felt stiff and scratchy. Nice comfy bed and convenient location to Buckingham Palace.

Staff at the hotel were more than helpful. The many restaurants are very good, and the Zander Bar- longest in London, is also a must! The foyer is beautiful, as is the Victorian courtyard where the Bank restaurant stretches outside in a glass conservatory- a most stunning setting. Rooms are slightly dated, the bathrooms are not particularly luxurious, […] although they are clean and adequate. The rooms would benefit from a touch of TLC, but they retain charm, comfort, cleanliness and suit every need imaginable. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, although it is at the upper end of the London market, and for a small sum extra, one could stay at the Ritz. Les mer

This hotel was really nice and by UK standards, our room was larger than expected. The front desk service was great and the desk clerks very helpful. The concierge desk was often staffed by snobby old men - when I did get a younger fellow - they were nice and helpful. My impression is this hotel thinks it is fancier than it is. Don't get me wrong - […] it was a very nice hotel, but people were a little rude and not particularly friendly. Snobs would be the best word. I don't quite fit that category, so it was a little uncomfortable at times. The location is great! 5 min. walk to Buckingham Palace - close to St. James Park and the underground by the same name. A small grocer market next store, cashpoint (ATM) nearby and plenty of pubs, bars, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again, and hotels.com made it affordable (at least for central London). If you request a single bed room, all they do is split a king size bed - which is fine, but just know what you are getting - not two queens, or two doubles, but two twin beds. Les mer
"hepful, courteous and polite staff"
Staff were well trained and helpful. The hotel was really well positioned for Buckingham palace and other tourist sights. Only disappointment was that the room wasn't as plush as the rest of the hotel.

I love beautiful old hotels. And this was it. Cosy, comfortable and very English. Just perfect for a fan of the English. And 2 minutes from Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately the Queens Gallery was closed until mid June. So next time.

Very nice business type hotel. Well maintained, fantastic staff. The pluses outweigh the minuses, but a few gripes. Internet in room overpriced at £10/day, but free use of business center machines.
