Hadde et veldig trivelig opphold. Generelt godt fornøyd med hotellet som hadde et flott badeannlegg. Også positivt at det gikk gratis buss til The Strip hver halvtime. Turen tok kun 15 min. På den negativ side må det sies at det ikke var rengjøring eller bytte av håndklær hver dag som på vanlige hotell (1g på 7 dg), men man kunne ringe og få rene håndklær i løpet av dagen. I tillegg var det stusselig hvis man var uheldig og trakk det korteste strået og måtte ligge på sovesofaen. Den var ikke god å ligge på, og ødela veldig mye på helhetsinntrykket av et ellers supert hotell. Gjør også oppmerksom på et ekstra gebyr pr dag som kommer i tillegg til alt annet.

Det meste er overveldende i Las Vegas, inkludert dette hotellet. Vi var utrolig fornøyde. Stort og flott rom! Kan anbefale både frokost og middag på Grand Lux Café.

Customer service was atrocious from the time I checked in throughout. Very disappointed with condition of renovated part of hotel, too. Property is in dire need of better management.
"excellent location, great view"
We stayed at a Luxury Go View Room and it was well worth it. We watched the Bellagio's fountain right from our room window! The hotel's location is excellent, you can easily walk up and down The Strip. The check-in line was a little long, though, but everything else after that was a breeze.
"Nice location but that's about it"
Check-in took 45 min of waiting in line. Our "upgraded" room did have a view of the strip but was very cheaply done...lipstick on a pig. Although it was a non smoking room when we first entered it smell like someone had smoked a whole bale of weed... No way to open a window so ran the in room air which must be piped in directly over the craps table […] because the room then smelled like an ashtray. Exellent, its close to everything, elevator is close to the exit door. not long way to walk.close to the bus stop and its on the strip area.
"Margaritaville"
the Margaritaville casino was a lot of fun, but restrooms need to be closer. When playing the tables a 15 minute walk to a restroom it too much.

Thsi hotel has really gone down hill. The rooms are showing thier age, rust on the bathroom fixtures etc.. They charge $10 a day to use the gym. There are no good shops or restaurants in the hotel. The hookers in the lobby were propositioning us even when we were with our spouses. I would pay rather pay more and stay in a place that is cleaner, and […] has better restaurants. Les mer
It was a great place but we could not sleep at all because of all the noise around 7am in the morning they were so loud it was horibal no sleep the hole time we were there because of the construction goin on!!!
The Flamingo did not have my room I reserved and then the room they sent me too was supposed to be remodled, it was falling a part unacceptable. When we got a room it was satisfactory and we was going to stay another night, they wanted to charge 4 times the price becauase they were almost sold out according to the desk people. FRONT DESK UNDER STAFFED WITH LONG WAITS.DIDN'T RECEIVE TWO BREAKFASTS A DAY AS PAYED FOR BUT CHARGED FOR SECOND BREAKFAST .PAYED EXTRA FOR UPGRADE TO WHAT? ROOM CAN BE NOISE AS HAS A DOOR THAT JOINS ROOMS. GOOD LOCATION. WOULD STAY AGAIN IF PRICE WAS RIGHT,BUT MAKE SURE YOU GET WHATT YOU PAY FOR.

Hotel service was awesome. Got an upgraded room because ours wasnt available. Hotel was very busy and loud, perfect for the party crowd. Perfect location to walk the strip too. It also has the popular Margatitaville in the hotel. Had lots of fun!
"The Flamingo - Perfect location on the strip!"
My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenage boys) stayed at the Flamingo for 2 nights over spring break. The Flamingo is in a great location, right at the center of the strip. It's easy walking distance to most anything you'd want to see and there is a stop for the Deuce right in front of the casino. Our room had 2 queen beds which were quite comfortable. […] The view was quite spectacular as we were on the 27th floor and had floor-to-ceiling windows. The walls were a bit dirty, but we weren't planning to do anything on the walls, so that wasn't too much of a concern. My only complaint was the bathroom. I know the Flamingo is an older hotel as far as Vegas goes, but there were water issues while we were there. One of my showers was cold, which I was not happy about. Although they were doing water maintenance during our stay so that could be why I ended up with a cold shower. The shower head was terrible and the ceiling in the shower was quite low. I'm 5'6" so it was fine for me, but my husband and boys are all over 6 feet tall so they had to stoop a bit when showering. Overall staying at the Flamingo was a great choice for us. "DIRT and chaotic"
We had a reservation for 2 nights. When we saw how dirty a friends room was and how poorly maintained (wall paper loose at seams) and at least one hours wait to sign in or out, we left and went to another hotel. Would NEVER consider the Flamingo again.

Overall the hotel is nice. The service people friendly. The room is good sized. The amenities are good. My biggest complaint was they did construction right above my room at 6 am. When I called to complain, they said there was nothing they could do. That was very disappointing. For a very good stay until this point, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

IT WAS UNFORUTNATE THAT YOU HAVE TO SIT ON THE CONCRETE IS YOURE NOT AT THE POOL AT 9 AM IN A LONG LINE TO OBTAIN A CHAIR FOR YOU AND YOURE SPOUSE. OUT OF THE FOUR DAYS TO THE POOL, ONLY ONE TIME DID I SIT IN A CHAIR. MAYBE THE MGR. OF THE POOL SHOULD SIT ON THE CONCRETE WITH HIS GROUP AFTER PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE.

"Flamingo Hotel , LV , NV."
Overall experience was above average. Upon arrival there was a 'Disney Land' like line for registration. Thank goodness for the seldom used automatic check in/out counter. Went to that instead and checked ourselves in quite quickly. One of our main reasons we chose to stay in this hotel was for the kid pool and slide. It was sure fun when we tried […] it on Sunday. We were sorely disapponted when we went back on Monday to find it CLOSED. Their kiddie pool and slide is only open on the weekends. It will be open 7 days a week following Memorial Day. Our room was on the cheap side so we weren't expecting much. Do yourself a favor and SKIP their Buffet, food was over priced and average to below average in quality. Tried their sushi and couldn't even finish it. The rice was completely dry. Les mer

This hotel is great. It's older than some other hotels/casinos on the strip but it's centrally located and very reasonably priced. The rooms, courtyard and pools are nice and there are dining options for any time during the day or night.

"Roll-away bed not good"
I requested 2 queen beds with my reservation, when my party arrived the only had a smoking 2 queen beds available or one non-smoking queen bed; they had to get a roll-away bed for the minor child. Not happy about that at all.

"Las Vegas Flamingo, better options around"
Major problem is the insufficient reception procedure (check-in/check-out/getting information). After a long and sleepless journey from Europe it is horrible to wait in a long line for 1.5 hours simply for checking-in. And I did not believe the explanation that some of the staff just got sick!. I saw so many people waiting the next days too... then […] we got a room the said was an upgrade (was a long way to go there as well). But it had only one big bed for us (4).... so we had again to organise another room. got to bed eight hours after arriving in Las Vegas!!! As compensation (I thought) they said that we get complementary some $ a day to use in some restaurants. Next day they said this is not possible. and that breakfast that we already had paid with the room (through hotel.com) is only for two people and not four. More of that: breakfast that seems to be paid is not paid: it is at a specific time, at a specific place (where you have to find out first), and it is only a small amount that is paid.... All in all: hotel might be okay...okay to sleep or go to the casino. May be luck was not on your side....To get information you have to invest a lot of time..!!.Next to the garden was construction activity nearly day and night! I did not see any advantage for the kids...Go to other places around the Flamingo! They also look much nicer and interesting inside! Les mer

the hotel is getting a bit worn but the renovated rooms are nice and clean. i wouldn't want to stay in the older rooms. but it is a great location in the middle of everything.

Hello I loved everything about the flamingo hotel, except the sevice it was very poor I had no service on my cell phone anywhere throughout the flamingo. But other than that I absolutely love it and the decor was beautiful
"Smelled horrible"
The people who stayed in our room before us must have spilled their water from absmoking device cuz the whole room stunk of marijuana n had a stain on he floor. It was disgusting. How did housekeeping miss that??? We got a new room n it was run down with cigarette burns on the bead spread n hardware missin in the shower. I won't stay there again!!

We requested a "refab" room as the hotel is renovating rooms. The room looks great with the wood floors and new bed covers, but the bathroom was not re-done at all. When we entered the room it seemed as if someone else was also booked in the room because there was an open bottle of gin and cranberry juice as well as a bag of chips on the desk. It took them over an hour and a half to check people into their rooms. Only 2 people for the commoners, while 3 took care of the VIP.

Great location for the strip. They must improve on their check in procedure. The line for it must be one of the longest anywhere, irritating the already tired traveller.Free breakfast for nine dollars coupon doesnt fetch you anything and leaves you hungry.Rooms need a lot of renovation cleaning and maintainence of carpets.Apart from these we enjoyed […] the view from 27th floor.Staff was friendly and helpful.Things become better when you start getting used to the place and know your way around. Only concern wifi costs $14 per 24 hours and there is minimum $5 chargr to check in airline and print boarding passes. Ridiculous. BUT I loved no carpets in the room. Felt much cleaner. Construction outside ou window went on til 1AM Saturday morning. Still would come back again.

My second stay, love the location and atmosphere. We paid extra for an updated remodeled room over looking the strip. We got the view! Our friends on the 11th floor had a broken mirror, shower dripped steady and only had small stream for showereing asked for maintenance never came...missing light shades..not a great experience. our other friends on […] the 16th had a great room over the strip, like new, coffee in room, tv in the bathroom... The coffee shop leaves a lot to be desired, but the Paradise Garden buffet is wonderful. The view in the back of the hotel is beautiful, pink flamingos etc. The deluxe go rooms are awesome, tv in the bathroom mirrow is cool, and the large shower is nice! The Java coffee cart (not owned by the hotel) was not accepting credit cards, and had no sign displayed, […] so my hubby left them stuck with his order-their fault for not displaying a sign. Les mer

Everything was great. Good location. We got upgraded no extra charge to a sweet Go Room. The only down part was waiting in line for a very long time to check in to our room.
