The Shores Resort & Spa - Daytona Beach Shores

Dette var min families favoritthotell da Alt har tidligere vaert helt topp. Det eneste har vaert beliggenheten som ikke er den beste men hotellet gjoer opp for det paa alle mulige maater. Desverre i aar ble vi moett med et par ansatte med en ubehagelig holdning. En i valet og ei ansatt Ved uteomraadet. Vi bestilte bla fire menyer da vi var fire pers […] og hun kom med to. Da vi spurte hvor De Andre to ble av, nektet hun for og begynte aa krangle. Dette var kjempe ekkelt for oss som helst vi ha en stille og rolig fam. Ferie uten intriger. Dette var synd, og det ble nok siste gang for oss paa dette hotellet, selvfolgelig ogsaa av Andre personlige grunner. Passer best til familier med barn overbto aar. Vaar var ti mnd. Ellers ett luksus sted som. Generellt er veldig flott. Les mer

The room was extrodanarily clean. The staff was welcoming and very willing to help. I enjoyed walking into the hotel after a day out and being greeted with a heartfelt smile.

This is our second stay at the Shores Resort and Spa. We loved the stay, the room was very clean, the services were great, my only concern it's the breakfast crew that it's working at the moment. We spent one week and the only thing that wasn't good was the breakfast, the crew wasn't getting the order correctly, on the tables besides us also was a complain, […] and they didn't handy it on the proper way, took so long to someone to care about the person that returned their food, so they gave up, she had to see her friends eating, and she hag to go to a drive-thru for a breakfast. Same thing was for us. the order took 52 minutes to get at our table. I thought that they were really busy or with a new person on the kitchen, (there were many tables available). Any way I decided to try one more morning, I waited 47 minutes to be served, and my order wasn't complete. Les mer

This lovely hotel is located right on the beach. We had a wonderful time staying here. We enjoyed the restaurant located at the hotel, and also the tower restaurant next door that overlooks the ocean. The rooms are a little older, but very clean and spacious. We stayed on the river side and had a pretty view of the river. Though the view was very nice, […] if we stay again, I will pay the extra to have the ocean view. I would have liked if the room had a mini-fridge, but other than that it had everything we desired. If we return to Daytona in the future, we will most definitely stay here again. Les mer

We had a wonderful experience at the Shores where they catered to every one of our requests. My wife's diet requires gluten free menus and it was amazing what the chef's prepared. It was like she had her own personal chef. The rooms were great with awesome views and the beach, wow, what a beach. We plan on returning as often as we can. Too many hidden rates, they charge per night on top of the original price. a fee for for parking our you park across the street in the dark? small pool no room service,well they don't answer the phone. no small fridge without a charge.

even though they are currently conducting outside maintenance, this hotel is awesome! Beautiful hotel, great service, awesome amenities.

Great Service and Good Coustomer Service

This hotel is a great place to stay for a couple. But, the convenience of it being on the beach makes it good for kids. It also offers firepits to have a gathering and make smores. How cool is that? I enjoyed the sauna and the pool. The staff was outstanding and the room was nice. I will definitely stay again.

The Shores is a well maintained, hotel with bar a cozy bar and restaurant. The room was comfortable, everything was clean and of course the beach was outstanding.

On arrival in our room it was discovered that we had been given a king size bed. The problem was we were 2 men sharing a room and these accomadations would not work. We had booked a room with 2 double beds. Upon contacting the front desk they said there were no other rooms but that the sofa did pull out to a double bed. I advised them this was not acceptable […] since neither one of us would be comfortable on a sofa bed. They advised us there were no other rooms available at this time in the catagorey we had booked. I then let them know this was our 1st time at their location and had chosen them because of the customer ratings i had viewed on Hotels.com and had booked back in January. The gentlman a the frint desk said he would see what he could do since they were sold out. I let him know that if no double bed rooms were available we would be cancelling the reservation. He then asked if we could wait until he had time to talk to the manager and see if there was any cancelations butcouldnt guarentee they would be able provide us with a room. We decided we would wait and see what they could do as it was Bike week and all of the hotels were probably booked or the ones available were much more expensive. While on the phone speaking with the desk he then advised us there had indeed been a cancelation but it was a much more expensive room but since we had booked so early they would upgrade us for no extra charge. We went down and got our new keys and wnet to our new room where we found we now had a ocean view. Luck was on our side for this oppertunity and they could have just let us leave and probably booked that room at the regular rate but they didnt. In my opinion it is clear they are very concerned about customer service and making sure that they have repeat customers. I can say with the experience i have had at other hotels when something like this would happen they would have said tough luck charlie take it or leave it. the pool and deck area were great. With a lovely view overlooking the beach, fire rings that lent a nice ambiance, and the all-important pool bar, it was the place we spent most of our time during our stay.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The beauty of when you first walk in shows, and the staff shows excellent customer service. The location is to die for, and the restaurant gets an A++ in my book. The only complaint I have is that they didn't tell us about the re-railing of the balconies which would happen at 9 am in the morning. This […] was my only "relaxing" day and I went to bed at 2 a.m. and was woken up by loud hammering and pounding. This lasted until I checked out. The hotel is in a great location with many places to go nearby for dinner. The room was great, we had to ask for a new room when we first arrived as they were doing construction on our balcony, so we had no access. Also had to call in maint to fix our AC the first night, but after that loved our stay there.

The Shores hotel was very clean and organized and may our stay in Daytona Beach, Florida very pleasurable!!

Room not cleaned properly, area under bed not vacuumed since? Window covered in hand prints.

The Best Hotel and View of the Atlantic Ocean. The service was amazing.

For folks from Canada, this place is a real treat. Specially during Xmas time.

This hotel was AMAZING! Everything from the service to the amenities were top notch. We arrived at 1am and were still able to go sit outside at the ocean and enjoy the burning fire pits and heated pools. The room's decor was charming and the staff seemed happy to help out whenever we needed them.

We enjoyed every minute at the Shores Resort & Spa. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room beautiful with great views and the food was exceptional. We are looking forward to making a return visit!

My good friend and I celebrated a mini one night reunion and absolutely loved it!!! From our room, service, food, view, atmosphere right down to the valet service, it was excellent!! Keep up the good work "Shores"!!!

I selected this hotel because of its four star rating. In general, the property was quite nice - particularly the outdoor spaces. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A couple of opportunities - the parking lot walkover tunnel's floor had been painted and was not quite dry so one's shoes pretty much stuck to the floor - putting a few runner carpets […] down would have been helpful. In addition, the air conditioning in our room stopped working sometime during the second night - we reported it in the morning but spent a pretty uncomfortable night. The outdoor amenities are really what is most appealing about this hotel. Les mer

Great hotel!! It was our last night before my husband left to go back to Afghanistan...beautiful setting, great food, etc. Breakfast on Sunday was a bit mediocre for the price. I did expect a more "chic" entry desk & attendant though....the cheesy sea-scape behind the desk also didn't compliment the beauty & history of the hotel look elsewhere. We were surprised at the beauty of the lobby and grounds, and were not disappointed with the spacious comfortable room which was spotless. Our room was a standard room not facing the ocean, however, the view to the Inter-coastal waterway is still beautiful and noise from traffic was minimal because the rooms were well insulated. The staff were very […] courteous and helpful. I am looking forward to a return visit and have dinner in the beautiful restaurant, which we didn't have time for on this visit. Les mer

We have stayed at the Shores many times and it has always been a great experience. If you have a large party you may have to rethink food choices due to prices.

Great service, including quick removal of down products from the room. Nice layers of curtains from sheer to opaque. Common areas are classy and clean. Nice bars and outdoor seating. Happy stay

A terrific facility in every respect! I'm particular about everything and could find zero to complain about! Lots of great touches like extra towels and a DVD player in our room were extra special. Clean, spacious, great service and a prime location. We'll definitely stay again!

Overall, the hotel was a very good choice. I only found 2 issues. The poster beds were nice, however, you couldn't see the TV from the bed, due to the bed posts being in the way. A vending machine would have been nice for a late night snack. I would definitely stay there again. The people were very friendly and the hotel was very clean.

I loved every minute of my stay at the Shores. The staff was awesome and does a lot to please their customers and keep them satisfied. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. I would most definitely recommend this resort to others and I will be returning.. hopefully sometime soon!

Very nice hotel, located a few minutes away from Daytona Beach's commercial area. Located just far enough away to be in a quiet environment. Easy self-parking just across the street. Beautiful, large rooms. Only noticed 2 things which could be improved: cleaning the walls regularly under the air conditionning unit as it creates running drips of water […] on the wall under the unit which doesn't look good and, better maintenance of the pool and pool area. For the quality of hotel The Shores Resort and Spa is, the pool and pool area should be spotless and chemical levels should be perfect...we had itchy skin after swimming. Place was awesome. Close enough to every thing to have fun or u can just stay in the. It had everything and the beach was awesome. Celebrating our 20th anniversary. Thanks Shores!!!!!!!!

We loved every moment we spent at the Shores. The Hotel is top-notch in every way from the ambience to the service. Beautiful spacious rooms, excellent restaurant, fabulous pool, great tiki bar, and right on the beach - can't ask for much more! Also - if you need a roll away bed - it is an actual bed (not a torture device folded in two). My only complaint: […] I was not informed that rooms with 2 double beds do not have a balcony. I was a bit dissapointed, but the rest of the hotel made up for the lack of a balcony. Les mer

hotel was beautiful and room was very comfy and clean. really wanted a room that had a mini fridge in the room and it did but was locked since it had a mini bar in it and charged $25 to take the stuff out for personal use. that was our only thing we didn't like about the stay. also restaurant and bars were a little pricey. an average cup was $10 for […] a drink and a beer was $6 in a can. I typically only write reviews for negative stays...but this location provided the most friendliest service that I have ever had...that I had to mention it. I would highly recommend this location to anyone going to Daytona.
