We arrived by car, and it was a bit disappointing that the parking facility across the street charged at each passing and/or each day, but luckily the location of the hotel made the car unnecessary for the stay. The elevator had manual doors on the first floor, but worked smoothly. Considering how central the place was the rates were good, but they obviously don't leave much for maintenance. The building and the rooms were clearly well-worn, but cleanliness was satisfactory. After the first night, we had a huge leak in the ceiling (it literally, in the literal sense, poured) but a guy from maintenance sorted it out. Not a pleasant experience in the first place, but after all they took care of it. Liked the city as well, and we would most likely stay here again, were we to return.

Det var mye å velge mellom, men mer sunt så hadde det vært perfekt. Vi kommer til å bruke deres hotell igjen. veldig hyggelig personale!!!

First of all it was a great stay. I have no complaints to make. The only issue was it was on a hwy where you cannot make a left turn. If you leave the premises you have to make two u turns to get back into to it. I think the hotel was an ex Marriott. The hotel faces a busy street and the traffic noise was constant. There was also a constant "moan" of the elevator going up and down, as if the workings were inside the walls of the room. We booked rooms with 2 double beds, but were given a room with one king for 4 adults! We couldn't get any answers when we rang the front desk (literally just kept ringing with no answer) and going down to the lobby wasn't any better. Their service was appalling. Our stay at The hotel ML was reserved for the MonsterMania convention at the Crowne Plaza. We checked in and discovered the women running the front were very short and pushy. The beds were very small and access to our room seemed like miles from the front door. The main attraction was the water park within the building. It appeared to be nice however […] we decided not to go due to a high volume of people. Cable only gives you about 10 channels. The room service was a high point. Nice staff and great food. Good value. Nice hotel. Had a dreadful experience with Talia, the restaurant: 1. I went downstairs, asked for a parm sandwich. It was 9:45 pm. The hosted obliged. 2. There just parties of 2 at the table. No one else. So no crowd whatsoever. 3. I took 30 minutes (!) for the kitchen brought me the sandwich. I was so frustrated. 4. In my room I've opened […] the foam container: cold fries; no red sauce at all. Btw I've asked for crushed peppers- no one delivered. I will get online, telling the world how bad this restaurant is. This was a great hotel. The reason for our stay was to go to the waterpark which we really enjoyed. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I found this hotel to be more for families because of the water park. The staff is unfriendly rude to customers Who book through Expedia, Even if you are an Expedia Elite. They almost never honor the upgrade policy as per the Expedia elite program, I have stayed there at least five or six times and each time they never were able to give me an upgrade […] except once. The breakfast they offer is only suitable for a voucher program if you have to pay for the breakfast it is very very very basic and poor quality and they charge 16 dollars plus tax for that lousy buffet. Well granite countertops are a nice touch, but how about replacing the rusted bathroom door, or shampooing the carpet, or properly cleaning a room that's been smoked in, despite this being a "no smoking" hotel? Al the bell hop and the housekeeping crew (don't forget to tip housekeeping!) did a great job. Other than their stellar and commendable performance, the rest was a nightmare. The bar tender should be fired -- I'd consider buying the place just to fire him. Refused to serve multiple customers because he was too busy counting money from checks and entering […] them into the register. Every so often, he looked up to scowl at the waiting customers. I was among the many who just got up and left. This is just one example of why you should stay as far away from this place as you can. No in-room dining menu (it's just a flyer really), the food is sub-par and the wait to check in was about a half-hour. With so many other choices in the area, don't stay here. "Not what was advertised."
Not what was advertised. Not pleased with my stay. Coffee pot was missing. Office chair was too low to the desk which made using my laptop uncomfortable. No room service menu until I was asked to go pick one up at the front desk and then was told by the room service staff that the menu was out of date and what I ordered was no longer available. "Nice hotel"
There was some kind of machine running making a tremendous noise from the back of the hotel. It went on throughout the night. There were no directions for the phone on how to call the front desk, retrieve messages or use wake up.
