A/C didn't work good and one ice machine for the whole place. Every thing else was in order and able to deal with.

The price was okay. We stay with two rooms 4 adults.Both nights the firer alarm keeps going off.the 2 ice machines were broken.

The room was clean and my location was alright. Houston is hugh so there was a bus close by and a Denny's next door. It was fine and would recommend it if you are on the Southwest side of Houston. The staff was indifferent, but I did not need them for much.

For the price it was a good hotel. I had a couple issues, The wi-fi went down for a couple days but the lobby wi-fi still worked. some of the normal things housekeeping takes care of you have to get at the front desk, ie coffee for your room cofeemaker and tv station list. As soon as we drove up to this place, I knew I'd made a mistake. There's a sign prominently displayed at the reception desk that says,"NO REFUNDS." That told me that regardless of what complaints you might have, management doesn't care. You won't be getting your money back. SO, we got our room key, found the room, and entered what I can only say was […] the seediest, smelly dump I'd ever seen. We both thought of those TV shows where they've gone into hotel rooms with black lights to expose filth and dried human bodily secretions on the bed and walls. We stayed only long enough to use the bathroom, and then we were out of there. Chalk my 2 night room stay, paid in advance, up to experience, and a lesson well learned. A 2-star hotel with nice pictures on the internet does not accurately depict the establishment. What you see is NOT what you get, at least with this dump. Bad area. Did not feel safe. Drug deals going on. Beds very old. Very loud peoplall night long walking by the room. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Should be rated a 1 star or less. Should not be on hotels.com.

Location is about 15 minutes to downtown. Rooms are clean- not new, but comfortable, with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was only cold cereal and muffins. Coffee, but no juice.

The review about this place that said they would never stay here again was probably more accurate than the one with someone saying it was an excellent place. The location is terrific, however I could not get past the smell in the room. It was awful! Plus the original room they out me in, the TV did not work so they had to move me into another room. Always […] read these reviews, and take the advice. That is what I will do from now on. Pass this one by, and less it's 11 PM and you really are desperate for a place to sleep. Les mer

Seriously, I dont usually give negative reviews or even any reviews at all. Maybe we were just unlucky but this was the worst hotel I have ever been in and coming from Africa, I've been in quite some bad ones. I know you generally get what you pay for but this was way below par--if I got a free stay offer, I wouldn't take it. The toilet was blocked […] up-they had to bring in a plumber(REALLY).We paid for a non-smoking room--it was filled with smoke. The whole experience was a nightmare--wont recommend it to the devil. Nice and big place to stay, didn't like the fact that there is no blowdryer. One really good thing is that there are security that drives around to check on the hotel.

The room number plaque outside is missing. The drains are clogged in sink. Towels are not very clean. Continental breakfast is bad. Noise from highway is laud. TV is snowy (almost unrecognizable).

Clean, great price, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, micro/fridge/tv, cool a/c, basic breakfast. Because of the price, location and being clean and well appointed...we will stay again!

Stayed a year ago and it was ok. Stayed a night recently and it was even better! Clerk was friendly, fast to check us in and out. Didn't try breakfast. Denny's is next door. Arrived around 8pm and was able to park in front of our room which was a nice size. Kind bed was clean and comfortable with flat, thin pillows. Paint looked good, carpet vaccuumed, […] tile in bathroom area mopped and all of the appliances (micro, medium-sized fridge, coffee maker, tv) were clean and worked fine. Wifi good. Had a table with 2 chairs, a dresser, a reclining chair, 2 nightstands, 4 lamps and a closet. All were fine. Nothing modern. Shower was ok, but the plumbing was loud in the walls. Slept without noise. Only negatives were rough towels, weak shower pressure and loud pipes. With the price, location and cleanliness, will stay here again. Les mer

This place is horrible. Trashy room, barking dog next door and nobody was even there, or they just let it go on. Hookers working in corridors, got approached twice in a one day stay. Was going to stay for a week, but no way!!!!!

The stay at the hotel was not great too many people yelling outside. People slamming doors and doing shady things at the back of the hotel. No security on site to check premises.

I really thought I was getting a great deal when I saw the cost of my stay. As it turned out, I was getting what I paid for. This place was really run down; entrance into the lobby late at night (rear entrance) was not secure; people were hanging out all hours of the night, and the overall grounds were not pleasant. The breakfast sucked. The room was extra noisy and had humidity in some wall spots,towels super hard. But location was very good,service good,i would stay there again if i had to but well not my favorite one of course lol

I was passing through the city and found this location to be central to business transaction the following morning. The price was great for a few hours of sleep. This location advertised for breakfast, but didn't expect muffins, cold cereal and coffee. I didn't have time to check out any other amenities.

It's a roof over your head and a locked door at night. Very plain. It might be because I am not used to roads in Houston but it was difficult to get to (one way street and about 4 other one-way streets to get there.)

The hotel towels are old. The bed sheets were dirty. The air conditioning need it freon. The carpet was old and had stains. The hotel needs many improvemets.

The hookers were an unexpected feature of a motel in such a busy area right next to a major freeway. They were generally no trouble though, and kept to themselves except one night when they had a loud yelling match amongst themselves and spat over the balcony rails, nearly hitting another patron. I saw one rather dirty man shuffle across the parking […] lot with a paper bag containing a drink of some kind in his hand. The "breakfast" consisted of coffee, cold cereal and blueberry muffins. Fortunately there is a Denny's right next door. The room was nothing special but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Desk staff and housekeeping were pleasant enough. The WiFi was poor, and didn't work at all the last two nights of my stay. They are using a T-1 line which limits total bandwidth for all occupants to a measly 1.5 Mbps. Management says they will be upgrading to Comcast cable which should help. As a traveling male professional I can appreciate the low cost, but I would not recommend this motel for a family or for a single woman. Les mer

Black mold on the walls and ceiling of the first room they gave us hole punched in the wall of the second room they gave us. last room we were given drapes looked like they had been in the bates motel all sliced up.
