"Delta Hotel"
I stayed at this hotel for three days and had to eat all my meals at the hotel due to weather conditions. The food was horrible. I ordered a salad and the lettuce was brown and it cost me 26 dollars. We travelled to the island for the Jack Frost Festival and Hockey Day in Canada celebrations. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the kids enjoyed the attractions. Our room had an older tube style television that wasn't the best picture quality, but other rooms had flat screens. We had breakfast at the hotel and were disappointed with the service. […] It was a buffet so it didn't require much service to begin with, but it took quite a while to be seated and then our server didn't inform us that it was buffet only. So we waited with hungry kids a little longer than I had hoped. The food was par and to the hotel's defence, there was a large snow storm the night before. They may have been under staffed, but we weren't informed that they were. Les mer
"Perfect location"
The hotel is in an amazing location. We had an excellent room with a view of the waterfront. There was a bar fridge provided for us, which was a bonus as we had baby food us. The only wish I had is that the TV in the room is updated to a newer model, although we really didn't watch TV that much but only at night when we were relaxing before bed.

Our first impression at the desk was less than professional when asked a question, ligt bulbs missing in the lamps, parking at $17.00 was outrageous..........hotel looking dingy............... Years ago we stayed and had a wonderful experience...just not the same..............no I would not recommend […] to friends at all. Upon reviewing the bill with the check out person, a movie had been included, a movie we did not order or view. We did have a wonderful meal out in anothr location so no time for a movie...............those things added up just gave us an uncomfortable feeling. I stayed at the Delta Prince Edward 3 nights, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The house keeping was not to my expectations. There was still smoking smell in the corridors , told that this issue is going to be solved in near future. Smell of Chlorine is strong in the Health Spa and pool. Room was wonderful. Beds comfortable. I asked for a recently renovated room. Delta not only gave me a renovated room but also a room overlooking marina. Hotel is close to everything. I was disappointed in the buffet breakfast. Only limited selection and food just luke warm. I would suggest walking to Cora's (couple blocks away) for breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was my first time on the island and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and offered info on what to do and where to go. The location is perfect. Super close to the waterfront, lots of shopping and wonderful pubs and restaraunts. The hotel itself is very nice. The only complaints I have was the […] bed wasn't very comfy and the food was just so-so. Next time I will forgo the room service and go to one of the many wonderful restaraunts nearby :) Les mer

"The Delta in Charlottetown - close to everything"
Highly recommend the Delta in Charlottetown PEI close to everything downtown and for traveling on day trips to other locations.

This is my first time staying in "The" hotel in Charlottetown and needless to say, I was unimpressed. The elevators barely worked. Parking was $16 a day (insane for PEI). The Hotel staff was clueless (I was there for my honeymoon and asked if they had anything for newly weds, received a blunt answer of No). The breakfast was horrible and terribly expensive. good hotel, nice clean, well placed for Charlottetown. We were a little tied to the hotel/area as we hadn't rented a car and although the hotel is very well placed for Charlottetown, charlottetown was very limited for things to do. a car would have enhanced our stay as we could have explored more, but no complaints about the hotel at all
