I have been staying at this hotel off and on for over 20 years. It always meets my expectations.

Stayed over the week-end to be in a central location to the Bay Area (BA). Room was clean, quiet and spacious with eveything necessary for a week-end stay, modern decor, desk, refrigerator, microwave, iron, blowdryer and cofee maker. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great! eggs,bacon, waffles, donuts, cereal, toast, juices, fruit and more. Dining […] area was a bit small, but well stocked and maintained. The young man at the office was very nice and professional. The other employees were also nice and helpful.

The sauna was why We stayed.

Lots of road noise and the room smell stale.

Staff was helpful room was clean Good value for the money

This place is great if you need a cheap place to stay near to the center of Hayward. It's rather dismal, like all these sorts of places but it offers good value for money.

The room was clean. Surprisingly quiet despite my room being next to the road, the construction is still on going but there is very little activity. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good, lots of bacon to go around, coffee was okay, there was yogurt in the cooler, and fresh waffles - eggs were overcooked though. Neighborhood is okay, not seedy. […] City of Hayward has lots of parking, the shopping center is just a few blocks up the street with some okay bars and restaurants. San Francisco took only 30 minutes (took Bay Bridge and paid $5 toll). Only caveat, my room's coffee maker and and ice bucket were in my bathroom! Ick! They should really be outside on the dresser, there was plenty of room there and there's a plug for it. Les mer

The motel ist a good place for a stay for a few days. It is not suitable to live there with children, but it is good for over night stays. Rudi

The hotel delivered on all basic services in an acceptable manner but the location was in a really rundown part of town. The counter staff were courteous and efficient, the room was clean and in good order, and the full service breakfast included a standard range of morning fare, including fresh waffles. The worst part of the visit was the run-down […] location surrounding the motel. Many of the businesses along Mission Blvd where the motel was located were vacant or shuttered and the street was undergoing major construction so only one lane of traffic flowed in each direction which made getting to and from the motel a real adventure. The hotel and room was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was well done. The cost was very reasonable. The location was not very convenient to main freeway or close to any family dining that I could find. For a clean hotel at a good price would recommend this hotel.

The Comfort Inn in Hayward was just a stop over for us on the way to the Yosemite area. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate (we weren't expecting top shelf amenities), but it was very clean. The a/c is loud, although that blocked out the noisy traffic on the road in front of the hotel. I was in the area for business and this hotel meet my expectations. I wanted internet access in my room, a healthy breakfast with fruit, yogurt, and cereal in the mornings, Hot tea during the evenings, a fridge, microwave, and a large desk with a comfortable desk chair. The hotel was completely booked, yet it was still very quiet at night, and the staff […] was very accommodating whenever a guest would ask them a question in the lobby. This hotel is not close to any clubs or night life. But that was fine with me. I wanted to stay close to my client's place of business. I met the owner/manager and he ensured that my stay was comfortable and safe. I appreciated that. I would definitely stay there again. Les mer

The inn is located on a busy, noisy street with stairs on the outside and in a bad area. The fridge was noisy at night. The breakfast was good - 2 kinds of milk, scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, muffins, bagels, waffles, juices, etc. The list of restuarants in a handout needed to be updated. We cannot recommend this motel, even at a low price.

It was listed when I searched for a hotel in San Francisco, but actually it is 30 miles away on the other side of the bay. I mismatched Mission Blvd in Hayward with Mission Street in SFO ;-) - my fault, but the advertising was nevertheless misleading to people not familiar with the region. Anyway, for the price it was a good choice.

Very loud street construction. Multi year ongoing project.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The free WiFi works fine. The buffet breakfast is good, with the choice of foods including bacon, eggs, yoghurt and fruit. One minor quibble is that the dining area is small and has only a few tables. So you may have to wait for a table or else bring breakfast back to your room. But overall this is a good hotel.

This hotel was pretty good, especially in the Hayward area. The customer service was excellent, which is VERY important to me. It is also right around the corner from CSU East Bay if you are in Hayward for that. The only drawbacks were that it was motel style, with everything outside and just two staircases on either side. Most Comfort Inns have elevators […] and have all rooms inside. The only other drawback was the breakfast. I was very disappointed. Other than that I had no problem! The rooms are old and dated, tiger spot carpets are dirty,stained. Room was not cleaned properly. Unfortunately I booked for 2 nights through hotels.com and couldn't get a refund. Its not their fault the roads have construction outside but the steel plates covering the trenches are like someone hammering on your door with a sledge hammer when a car/truck […] hits it. They couldn't move me and told me my ears are too sensitive......like what! Les mer

i chose this hotel for the value and previous reviews detailing the excellent management. I was extremely impressed with how the hotel was maintained to the smallest details. The staff was extemely pleasant and accomodating; the complimentary breakfast excellent and the price and value the best in the bay area.

First the bed was excrutionaly hard. Woke up everyday with back and neck pain. huge construction project all down the main road. Hard to turn in and out without making uturns.

For a two star rated hotel, I would actually give it 3 1/2. Rooms look updated and kept well. No funny smell, just clean and fresh. Parking was not that great but adequate. Construction on Mission was not the greatest but manageable. Can't say much about the other guest staying, not so favorable but you can't choose your neighbors. I should start with great great front desk staff!!!! We were able to check in a little early and check out a little late then their postede times - which was very helpfull. The room was big enough for us (2 adults and 2 kids), although it wasn't the cleanest room I have ever been to. But it had all it was supposed to have (fridge and microwave, TV). […] Interenet was working OK. Even we got room close to the street it was suprisingly quiet! Overall it's a nice place. Staff was friendly and cleaning was really great. They even straightened out our stuff on the vanity each of the four days we were there. Beds are a bit hard tough. Only real complaint was that the internet was barely usable. I had good wireless, but it was slow and unstable in the room and in the office. the best thing about this cute clean motel is the staff - yodey and melanie were terrific. they went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable as my house was being prepared from having some horrible horrible nightmare tenants. the staff and the hotel - topnotch. right down the street from my house in the hills. with the stress that […] i was going through, they made it very pleasant. i would hire them in a minute if i had my own hotel. the rooms are spotless, the breakfasts fresh and the only downside is that there is road construction in front of the busy street (mission blvd. getting to the motel. terrific place! Best place I've stayed in Hayward yet. Very nice comfortable rooms though the bed is a little hard.

The hotel in was clean and quiet - other than some road construction in the neighborhood. The staff was efficient and very friendly. The price was great - I've been working and traveling a lot and this was one of the best I've stayed in that price range. The breakfast is a typical free continental (waffles, toast, hard boiled eggs, coffee, etc). My […] only complaint -and it's been at EVERY hotel so far, is the little placard that asks you to hang your towel to re-use again (and save water) which I do hang and WANT to reuse & save the water, well they change the towels anyway. The way around that was to have them clean the room every few days instead of every day. Oh yeah, the internet service actually works and there are decent places to eat in the neighborhood. Les mer

The motel is very average in many respects, but the service is friendly and welcoming, which makes it a significantly better experience overall. The rooms are a good size, but enjoy seriously dated decor - in the depressing color scheme (browns and sludge colors) which is favored by cheap motel chains. My room was quiet despite being close to the main […] road, so I suspect that the walls or sound insulation are better than usual. Breakfast was also better than many, with a real effort being made to keep the breakfast area clean and stocked. Les mer

nice and clean room, friendly staff

The customer service at the hotel was by far the best I have ever experienced. The staff went out of their way to make our stay the best one possible. I have to go back to San Francisco next week and I will be booking this hotel again for sure.

Surrounding neighborhood decent, better to drive to destinations rather than walk after dark; it is apparently on edge of low-income areas with, I guess, spillover from east Oakland. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable, A/C was cool enough for me. Most importantly, no roaches or bedbugs! Suited me fine. Not the easier motel to access from I-580 […] or I-880, though, in my opinion. Even at that, once you get to the San Mateo Bay Bridge, take the 101 N into SF, or take I-80 west into SF from either of the aforementioned interstates. Commute not bad on a weekend when I was there.
