Kort vei til/fra O'Hare int. flyplass. Utenfor Chicago sentrum, så enkelt å komme seg videre uten å havne i tung trafikk. Koselige og høflige ansatte og Legends sportsbar inkorporert i lobby området for å innta middag og drinker til normal pris. Store og fine rom; litt slitte, men rene. Frokosten var langt over middels med utvidet continental frokost. Fitnessrommet var veldig enkelt, men fikk trent basis. Nabolaget er noe slitent forstads- men virket greit.

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og for å få sett Chicago. Personalet der var superhyggelige, og rommene var helt nyoppusset. Vi hadde rom med parkering, og dette fungerte svært bra. Vi slet med å finne hotellet ut fra GPS, og når vi sjekket inn fikk vi høre at dette var et problem for mange av hotellets gjester (TIPS: Når GPS sier at du har kommet til oppgitt adresse, men du ikke ser hotellet, kjør da rett frem gjennom første lyskryss, så vil du se hotellet et lite stykke etter lyskrysset). Vi anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet for andre!

Hotell valt i utg.pkt pga nær O'Hare-flyplassen. Svært praktisk, to stoppestader frå flyplassen med t-banen (Cumberland). I tillegg lett, rimeleg og kjapt å koma seg med 'blue line' til sentrum av Chicago på same banen. Middels pluss service i skranken på hotellet. Frukost visstnok berre svært lettvint, med 'småkaker' eller liknande. Nytta ikkje dette tilbodet sjølv. Ok reinhald på romma. Var på to forskjellige under opphaldet mitt. Restaurant næraste nabo på eine sida av hotellet, også parkeringsplass knytt til denne, utan at eg fann dette sjenerande. 7 minutts spasertur tek deg til diger supermarknad, der du finn alt du måtte trenga. Også andre småsjapper og ein frisør. 5 minutt til fots til t-banestasjonen. Motorvegen like ved og tidvis flytrafikk over, men gjorde ingenting av betydning. Godt støyisolert.

"Hotel in Schaumburg"
Our stay at the hotel was satisfying, the location of the hotel was great. Along Meacham Rd were many eatery places.The Woodfield Mall was a great place to shop. We were especially pleased of how the hotel staff treatment was. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. It was very convenience because we did not have to leave the hotel to find a restaurant. My 16 yr old daughter, myself and my daughters' friend were coming to spend some time at Woodfield Mall. Embassy Suites was so close, they have a free shuttle to and from the mall and also a complimentary full breakfast. The girls had their space in the room and I had mine. All the staff was very pleasant and accomodating. We'll be back.
"Needs a little cosmetic work"
The 2 reasons I gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 2 are: 1.Carpets in hall/especially elevator need replacing, and the old iron railings around the balconies could use updating. 2. The breakfast buffet/ hot "made to order" bar were not up to usual Embassy Suites fare. The pre-made French toast was hard enough to chip a tooth on, and there were no waffles […] or pancakes. That being said, the staff could not have been nicer, and our room was very clean, the beds comfy and maid service very quick when we requested extra supplies. Les mer

We loved this hotel. We have stayed in Embassy Suites in Green Bay, WI 30 yrs. ago,and that positive past experience influenced our choice . The staff was exceptional in all ways. The food was excellent. We had the breakfast and also ate at Lafitte's, the in-house restaurant. I had the best salmon I've had in ages: perfectly done, very hot, and beautifully […] presented . Annie&Dawn at the desk went out of their way for us,as did Scott who came in an hour early on a Saturday to shuttle us to the Metra station to start our day in Chicago on time. Embassy Suites is as nice a place and as good a value as it was on our first visit to one 30 yrs. ago . Keep up the good work ! The hotel staff were friendly and very accomodating, and the room and beds very comfortable. Our stay was very pleasurable. Item of Note: The hotel had only 1 washer and 1 dryer for guests to use. Both are outdated, but get the job done.

"Comfortable rooms --great breakfast !!"
Great stay for a weekend visit to Chicago. We were travelling with two children, so the suite was a perfect set up -- and much ore reasonable rate than downtown Chicago! Wish it could have been a little closer to the Navy Pier and Museum District, but the interstate made the commute short. Room was great, comfortable bed, even the sofa bed was more […] comfortable than typically one gets with a sofa bed! Helpful staff and great breakfast buffet! I would definitely stay here again! Very pleased with this hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast.
The hotel was very nice. I had a problem with the reservation. When I made the reservation on the telephone with hotels.com, I understood that the room would be 2 standard double room. When we went to the hotel to check in, I was told that there were only king rooms available. They finally found us a two double room but instead of the standard sitting […] room for the room we were given a second room with a large conference table in the room. I was very disappointed. This was our only summer vacation for the year and as I am unemployed it was a splurge. Now I feel like I was taken by the experience. Les mer
"Used to be a great hotel-not any more"
Stayed at this hotel abou 10 years ago, unfortunately nothing has changed. Bathrooms small and outdated. We called down or housekeeping because we showed up and bath tub still had water in it...yuck. How does housekeeping miss this unless they aren't cleaning! Housekeeping came and drained the tub but left without wipin the floor or doing anything else. […] Gross. "Great property"
Stay @ this hotel 4-5 times a year when in CHI to be with grandsons. Staff is wonderful to the boys. Taking the time to make a big fuss over their new toys/shoes etc. Allowing them to make fools of themselves for a few minutes in the lobby; running & jumping on the columns. Hotel is convenient to everything I need. Thank you front desk staff. Only complaint […] - room needs new couch/.chair. They're beginning to 'sag'. the location was nice, staff nice, breakfast terrible, room had shower head coming off wall, remote didn't work on t.v., couches in room had holes in them, couches downstairs in lobby were all torn up...have stayed at many embassys....this is the worst I have ever seen...too bad, we like the area and usually love embassy suites
"Manager's reception was amazing; Light annoying"
The hotel manager's reception was wonderful as was breakfast and the servers were friendly and engaging. My only complaint was that there was a ceiling light right outside the door window that shown right onto the sofa bed and into my face the whole night. The second night I took out the light bulbsout and had less light. This was a room at the end […] of the hall. All other rooms had sconces between the doors that did not shine into the rooms. I booked hotel throught Hotels.com, so great price. The hotel was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The staff was top notch and very, very helpfull, room was very clean, and I would recommend to anyone. I would stay there again anytime.

I am a BIG fan of Embassy hotel brand. Although, this was not the best embassy that I have stayed in, I was very satisfied overall. I look forward to returning in the near future to this specific property! Thanks Embassy for making my Birthday special!
"Very nice experience"
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend/vacation. It was great. The room was very clean and felt like a small apartment. The service was wonderful and the on-site restaurant was a great dining experience. Parking was close and everyone was very friendly. For the cost of the hotel, I was expecting a first class hotel. When we arrived to our room, there was a trash can full of trash which looked like the prior occupant's refrigerator contents. Most alarming was the lip prints on the supposedly clean glasses that were sitting on the bar counter. The toilet made such a loud noise during and after flushing […] that it could be heard in the bedroom even with the bathroom door closed. The shower also had mold growing where the grout was missing between several shower tiles. The breakfast was very good and the pool was nice as well, but the room left a lot to be desired. Overall--good place to stay. the price includes the wonderful breakfast in the morning. Pool area could be bigger and the hotel could use a makeover. Our room was very comfortable and clean. great service. Best of all the location in proximity to the convention center is roughly 60 seconds away.

We really enjoy our stay. A group of ladies and I went to this hotel for a woman conference from church and I would like to thank the staff for allowing us to register early. Every year we try to stay at a Embassy suits they are the best I really recommend it.

our stay was great... loved the full buffet breakfast... was disappointed that it was cold. and when we asked the gentleman that cleaned the tables if he could get us a spoon, he pointed us to where they SHOULD have been... we explained that there werent anymore and he refused to get one for us.

"Friday night stay"
The breakfast is worth the price alone. My only complaint was the hottub was not working Friday evening when we were there as they were working on it. Bedroom was great especially if you had kids and the bed was very comfortable.

I spent a weekend at the Embassy Suites Schamburg hotel for a wedding and it worked out nicely. The hotel was comfortable, quiet, and very clean. I called ahead for an early check-in and didn't have any trouble. I definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

Pros: Great location, terrific FREE breakfast, front desk wonderful and pleasant Cons: "Heated" pool barely heated and didn't look or feel 100% clean. Small pool was very crowded during our visit. Nice hot tub.

"Embassy iSuites in Schamburg the place to stay."
Three families booked for our stay.Air conditioning went out in our room however management found us another room immediately. Shuttle droppped us off at our restaurant and picked us up.Very nice and helpful staff.

They had a very nice seven story atrium with glass elevators. They have a louisiana style restaurant on site. Nice rooms and happy hour was nice.

We were quite pleased that, although we didn't specifically ask, we were given three rooms next to each other because they were booked together. Being able to open the doors between two of the rooms was very helpful since we had small children in the group.
