Embassy Suites Denver - Southeast - Denver

My daughter had her 11th birthday party here (3 girls) because she loves the atrium location and the rooms are large enough to accommodate the girls and me. I am not going to comment like most others do about the dated-ness of the hotel. It is what it is. And they are renovating it, but I am not sure that it will be any different on the inside. It seemed […] from the scaffolding outside that they are doing something to the outside. We'll see, I guess. The hotel does have it's issues though: at breakfast there wasn't a smile to be had from ANY of the staff AND the advertised hot breakfast buffet was not in operation despite the fullness of the hotel so the line to the omelet and everything else station was extremely long. Also, my room wasn't ready for an hour past check-in time even though I had requested and been assigned that room. I would think the housekeepers might be made aware of rooms that for sure will be occupied and get them done, at least by 3pm. And last, but not least-the guy who runs the gift shop was extremely rude to my daughter and her friends. These are very polite girls who have very good manners. They asked me if they could have money to get something from the shop and I told them to go scope it out and let me know what and how much, etc. The guy threw them out of the shop because they couldn't show him any cash! Older motel being remodeled. Not all elevators available. No early check-in. Rooms have old 25" CRT sets. Usual manager's cocktails and a slightly reduced quality breakfast from usual Embassy Suites. Good bed. Clean room. Good housekeeping service. Located near I-25 in good location for SW Denver, and near many food options.

For a family size of 6 and sleeping arrangements with room to move around in, this hotel was perfect. It has been the best hotel we have stayed at yet! And we will return again. Two large rooms, a wonderful breakfast, and a great pool!

I have stayed at many hotels with Hotel.com and this is by far my favorite. It was well worth the cost.

Overall not a bad place to stay. The manager's reception food was the least inviting of all of the embassy suites I have been at, a little stale. Breakfast, as usual, very good with made to order eggs and meats. water was off during a day but we weren't there so wasn't a big deal Slightly older motel with nothing within walking distance as there used […] to be. May stay here again. My husband and I were very uncomfortable in their beds, could be due to advancing age. People generally helpful. Les mer

Great stay all around. Great rooms, breakfast was great to wake up to every morning, and the happy hour drinks were perfect to help one fall asleep. The breakfast cooks make a mean omelete and Arnold in maintenance was very helpful and is a great guy! Keep him around as long as possible!

The lobby of the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was great. Rooms furnishing were old and outdated. Location isn't great. Overall not bad but we've stayed at much nicer places for the same amount of money.

This hotel was great, mainly because it was a bit dated, but super swanky and I'm sure the epitome of luxury in its time. The lobby was this crazy mirror image of Orlando International Airport, with huge palm trees, lots of foliage, and a stream under a bridge. My room was enormous, with french doors that opened onto the Orlando lobby. This was a great place. It was like being in a bertanical garden on the inside of the hotel.

We always stay at Embassy Suites. The value and comfortable beds keep us coming back. Happy hour & breakfast are always great. We wouldn't ever stay anywhere else!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Embassy Suites and would recommend it. I mostly enjoyed the full breakfast which was included.

Heating/cooling system was not working correctly. Heat was on high only had one setting for heat in entire building. Rooms were extremely hot, shut off heater but still was hot. Had to open sliding doors to cool room off and slept with door open to keep comfortable. Some fans were offered but not enough for all rooms. Upon arrival confusion on reservation […] since we had more than one and receptionist wasn't cooperative to find out the problem to correct. Mixed up names with room numbers and was charging my credit card for another relative that was also staying at the same hotel. First time having so much trouble. They charge .75 cents for room to room calls. I got a $5.00 charge still not sure why. The pool was very cold. The hotel is very nice. Breakfast was awesome I loved the varieties of food.

I have stayed here on several occasions and have always been pleased with the overall experience. They have a made to order breakfast with an omlet bar that is second to none. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. And you can't beat the complimentary drinks at the bar. The only complaint is that they charge for wifi (WAY too much of a charge on top […] of that) And the televisions are old tube t.v.'s from the early 90's, and the reception was horrible. An upgrade to flat screens is sorely needed (especially when they charge $16.99 for a movie). Overall the staff was friendly and helpful and the stay is always great. great location, convenient. clean, comfortable rooms, very roomy. my only complaint is the hot tub had so much chlorine that i could not breathe while sitting in it. had to get out within a minute or 2.

We always enjoy our stay. Very friendly staff, wonderful cooked to order breakfast, and nice rooms. My only wish for this hotel is queen size beds. Doubles are a bit tight.

Liked that the pool/ weight room were open til midnight, also liked free drinks at the bar nightly from 5:30-7:30. The atmosphere was nice and tropical with lots of woodwork in the rooms. My only compliant is that i requested a top floor room for my anniversary to enjoy the view but got a room on second floor with a blocked view.

I was really impressed with this hotel. The Breakfast was awesome. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It was also a great value.

The location was convenient for us, close to I-25 and nearly everywhere we needed to be. The breakfast was plentiful and good, the pool and jacuzzi nice. The microwave in the room was ancient and the heating/cooling system was a bit uneven, but the weather was unseasonably warm. We had a couple of lightbulbs go out and they were changed quickly. The […] major complaint we had was the wi-fi. It's not free to start with ($9/day seems crazy in this day and age), but luckily for us we have ATT and were able to use our account to login for free. Still, the connection kept dropping, blocking access. I even called their support and they were always helpful and courteous, but the connectivity never really improved. Les mer

We loved the hotel. Love the layout of the rooms, with the separated living area from the bedroom area and the homemade breakfast.

My overall experience at this hotel was very good. My only complaint was that I had to pay $8.95 for WiFi for the night I was there. I travel often and this is the only hotel I have stayed in that charged for WiFi.

The expoereince at the Embassy Suites was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I feel the matresses were either worn out or just too soft making my back sore when waking up in the morning. Again everything else was up to Embassy Suites standards.

There was an event in the room beneath our room on the second floor. It was incredibly loud bass booming until midnight. The manager did her best to meet our needs though. Also, map directions were a little vague on google. If coming from the mountains, then you need to keep going on Hamden even when the name change for awhile.

Love the environment and the staff are great!

This is our first trip together and we booked a king suite for two and when we checked in, the front desk personnel handed us two key cards to a two queen beds. We went back to the front desk to let them know that we reserved a king bed not two queens and he told us that's all they have available and all the king suites are already booked up until Friday […] and we are checking out Thursday morning. The bed was small and very uncomfortable. It's hard to sleep as a couple in one bed. This is our first time staying at embassy suite and this is our last. Les mer

We arrived early (about 1:00) and they were full but the staff still found a room for us after a short wait. Room was very large and confortable. We enjoyed the atrium, breakfasts and location. Jacuzzi was too strong - like being in a washing machine, and very hot. Would have appreciated an ice machine on our main floor. Overall very nice.

We were totally satisfied with every aspect of this hotel stay--suite's comforts, staff's friendliness and professionalism, delicious breakfast buffet, evening manager's reception, convenience to major highways for touring the vicinity. My husband is terminally ill and I mentioned that we needed our suite cleaned early because I never knew when we would […] have to return for his bed rest. They started cleaning it while we were eating breakfast daily!! The front desk staff gave me mapquest driving instructions to the the places we wanted to visit. I have always enjoyed staying at Embassy Suites. The complimentary Happy Hour and breakfast is always better than most other hotels. This stay was made OUTSTANDING by a VERY dedicated employee (server) during the Happy Hour. He literally "ran" to keep up with serving folks and lived up to the promise of "taking care of me".
