Hotel Astor Saint Honore - Paris

We stayed at the hotel during the week of Christmas and EVERYONE was very helpful and very polite. Normally when we stay at hotels there maybe one or two people that you find to be helpful but anyone you spoke with here went out of their way to help you. I spent 6 days in Paris at Astor Saint Honore. The location was of walking distance from the major attractions such as the Louvre, Place du Madelaine, Galerie Lafayette, Petite Palais and Grand Palais and Avenue Sains Elisee. The Hotel was of a traditional style although I think it need some updating. The elevator only fit 2 to 3 people and was slow. […] The hotel seemmed a little short handed on employees. I always had to wait a little while to get information or needed roomservice. The bedroms size was OK although I had to have an upgrade bcause the standart room bed size was too small for two people ( double bed instead of queen size). The bathroom was a little small and the shower was not that good. I did not eat there so could not tell you about the food. I guess for a 4 star hotel it was good but not great. Les mer

Perfect location for short city break. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel décor is very elegant, will definitely be going back whenever in Paris.

Hotel Astor Saint Honore is well-located on a quiet street near the excellent shops on fashionable Rue du Faubourg Saint Honore. Not too far of a walk from the Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, and other key locations. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Fantastc hotel just a few steps from the Saint Augustin Metro station which was brilliant for sight seeing. We went to Paris for two days in August and did not realise that the hotel restaurant was not open during August as most of the Parisians take their holidays in August. Most of the neighbouring restaurants and shops were there also closed which […] was quite disappointing. But apart from that we had a lovely and romantic time in Paris. Les mer

It cost too much for a small old room.

2 metros close by. St.Austine and Madeline. Not near anything. Breakfast not included and very expensive. A chicken sandwich cost 15Euros. Mainly office buildings for neighborhood. Safe to stay with family. Expensive.

I have no complaints. I was traveling with my mother (who just had knee replacement surgery) so we have very different needs. The hotel was perfect for the both of us. The bathroom offered a bath and shower with removable shower head. There was ample room around the sink/vanity and we never felt crowded in the bathroom. As expected in Paris, the bathroom […] had a wonderful magnification mirror (for those who like/need to groom their eyebrows). The room was equally impressive. The safe was easy to operate, although we could have used a man to figure out that darn remote control (a disadvantage to never having control of the remote at home, I guess). Lots of electrical outlets to charge the camera, iphone, and laptop. (Don't forget your converters and surge protectors from AAA). We vacationed in four European cities and this was my Mom's favorite bed and pillows. I liked the firmer beds in Rome (which reminded my mom of the prison beds at the Doge's Palace). If you like soft beds and cushy pillows, you will like the Astor Saint Honore. As to the location, there are great (!!!) Parisian pastries in proximity to the hotel. The first morning we made the mistake of eating a 35euro breakfast near Notre Dame. Thereafter, we enjoyed 10euro breakfasts with the best pastries and coffee you could ask for at the local establishments (even open early on Saturday mornings!). When in Paris, do as the Parisians do. We never ate at the hotel, although the tables always looked full of tourists. Not only would I recommend this hotel, I will stay there again next year. The service is great and the lobby and style elegant. The room was less satisfactory for the price. We booked a suite which we found very tired and dated in terms of finishes. The size was nice, for Paris, but there was not furniture at a standard usually associated with a suite, just two wood chairs and a small table. The bathroom was OK but nothing […] special as well. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely attentive, but our room didn't have air conditioning, so I would never recommend this hotel for a summer stay. The restaurant was very expensive, so be sure to hit a patisserie unless you want to pay 25 euros per person for breakfast. With my mother and 2 daughters (8 & 10) we stayed in a Junior suite for half term to visit the main sites of Paris. We found the position perfect - lovely walks to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre - and the hotel suited our purposes perfectly. It worked very well for a day trip to Eurodisney as we were a 5 min walk from direct RER train station (Auber). […]  The staff were very helpful and polite and the room clean and comfortable. For a junior suite it was not huge - but really high ceilings and full height windows made it feel spacious enough. We did not sample the breakfast or restaurant but found plenty of lovely cafes in the area instead. Les mer

Hotellet ligger godt i byen. Vi var lidt uheldige med at vores morgenmad ikke var registreret som betalt, dette gav lidt bøvl, da vi 3 gange måtte gøre opmærksom på dette. 1. gang vi henvendte os, var ved indskrivningen på hotellet, receptionisten var ikke særlig venlig, og sagde at han først måtte ringe og tjekke, dette var der jo som sådan ikke noget […] galt i, men det var ikke en særlig behagelig måde det blev gjort på. meget overlegen, det skal dog nævnes at vi havde booked hotellet et halvt år i forvejen. to gange blev vi mødt ved morgenboret, hvor vi stod som ikke betalere, dette syntes vi ikke er i orden. vi fik dog klaret det hele i fred og fordragelighed. Ich war nicht der Reisende. Doch das Feedback meiner Kollegen war ausgezeichnet. Das Hotel sollte für weitere DR unbedingt vorgemerkt werden.

chambre trop petite couette sur le lit trop petite pas de bouilloire de façon automatique dans la chambre. conseils très pratiques de la part du concierge et situation centrale idéale

très confortable, accueillant, tranquillité proximité du métro à 15 minutes à pieds des Champs

El hotel esta super bien situado y a walking distance de todo. Para los estadares de habitaciones en París todas son pequeñas la habitación single esta muy bien y cómoda además de que tiene cierto encanto francés.

плохое обслуживание за большие деньги ужасный завтрак и кофе за неудобоваримые деньги неприветливый персонал и невменяемые консьержи (кроме главного консьержа, который является приятным исключением) не соответствует статусу "бутикового отеля"

It took 10mins to walk to subway, quite quiet at night for walking back to hotel and actually no room for 4 people. They only provided 1 soft bed (not enough for 2 childeren for sleeping together)and put 2 beds to form a queen bed (not comfortable). Not suitalbe for family but ok for couple. The room is big, clean and the service is ok.

Min søn og jeg tilbragte 4 pragtfulde dage i Paris og havde valgt dette hotel. Hotel Astor Saint Honoré er absolut anbefalelsesværdigt - meget stemningsfyldt og fantastisk service fra conciergen. Lækker morgenbuffet og altid venlig betjening samt samvittighedsfuld rengøring af værelser.

God velkomst, men umuligt at parkere bilen. Værelserne er alt for små i forhold til prisen. Manglende små ting på værelserne i forhold til værelses listen. Utrolig beliggenhed 5 min gang til concorde pladsen. Og roomservice fungere også kl 3:00 om natten positivt.

Ganske godt hotel tæt på starten af rue de Honore, Madelaine pladsen og stormagasinerne. Hjælpsomt personale smilende personale og inkluderet (vigtigt) en rigigt dejlig morgenmads buffet.

The hotel is situated in walking distance to place de madeleine and ohter shopping areas in Paris. The hotel itself is nice, but needs to be renovated. The hotel staff is very helpfull and pleasant.

Location is perfect for walkers. (Eiffel, Champs-Elysees, Louvre, Invalides, Orsay, Haussmann, even Montmartre is in walking distance) Also, front desk and concierge are really helpful and smiling. Only improvement area for is the breakfast to me, breakfast saloon is quite small with a few variety of food, but the rest is quite fine for the hotel.

Ruime kamer aan binnenkant op bovenste verdieping met ruime badkamer en breed bed (2 x 90 cm), sfeervolle aankleding. 150 meter van Boulevard Haussman en metro St. Augustin. 10 minuten wandelen van metro Champs Elysees. Good hotel according to the Paris central area (walking distance from Operà, etc.). Price in line with a central hotel in a big city such as Paris. Just to be careful at the final check out. I found a diet coke in the Credit Card details I never consumed. I called back the hotel and complained.

The Hotel in centraly located and has the a four star standard. The room we had was small, noisy but clean and had all standard that we expected. The hotel is clean and the staff we were in contact was very friendly. Only big negative point: The maid did not clean the room very well.

El hotel Astor Saint-Honore esta ubicado en una calle tranquila y cerca de cafes y restaurantes a un costo razonable. Hubiera querido una habitación un poco más grande, pero bueno, por el precio y considerando que es una ciudad como Paris, el hotel estaba perfecto.
