Dette hotellet er et meget flott hotell. Her opplever man luksus og topp service i en rolig atmosfære. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum men det er veldig bra for de som ønsker ro og fin atmosfære når man er på hotelle, samtidig er det kort avstand inn til byen. De har europas beste Spa avdeling her (kåret i 2011). Dette hotellet kan anbefales på det beste.

Fantastisk opphold i Roma på et hotell med uforglemmelig service! Som et eksempel kan nevnes at en i reisefølget fylte år mens vi var der, og helt uforberedt ble vi i frokosten den gjeldende dagen servert musserende vin og hjemmebakt kake samtidig som betjeningen sang for hun som fylte året. Ellers, kan nevnes velutstyrte rom og sjeldent godt utvalg i frokosten.

Kjempebra hotell som ligger svært godt til i forhold til opplevelser i Roma. Var veldig fornøyd med hotellet, det eneste som drar ned er at sengene var litt for harde. Ellers super service. Har aldri opplevd at rommet blir ordnet 2 ganger om dagen før. Og så fikk vi sjokolade og en oppdatert værmelding til kvelden. Veldig bra hotell :-)

"Et godt sted å være i Roma"
Litt utenfor Roma,- kanskje 1 km å gå fra metroen, men herlig å komme litt utenfor det hektiske Roma. Herlig personale og Italias beste frokostbord. Rimelig. Anbefales på det varmeste.
"Skuffet"
Dårlig og feil på informasjon når det gjelder egne tilbud i restaurant og på hotellet generelt + serverdigheter i byen. Skitne gulv i fellesrom og trappegangene alle 3 nettene vi overnattet. Vi ble skuffet og trodde Best Western hotell var bedre. Ok med buss til sentrum rett utenfor hotellet.

"Komfortabelt hotell i utkanten av byen"
Dette var vår tredje gang i Roma, og vi hadde to overnattinger på hotellet i en varm juli. Alt fungerte greit med akkurat passe airconditioning, varm dusj, grei frokost. Vi parkerte i gata, da hotellgarasjen var full. Dette krevde litt leting, men ikke verre enn i Oslo. Hvite gatemarkeringer gir gratis parkering, blå er med betaling. Vi reiste med […] to barn, og hadde to dobbeltsenger i firemannsrom. Det fungerte fint. Rent og pent hotell med vennlig betjening i resepsjonen (og vi har truffet ganske mange italienske resepsjonister som ikke fyller denne beskrivelsen). Anbefalingene om å ta buss er riktige, det tar ca. 20-30 minutter å gå til Termini med (litt slitne) barn i 5-8 årsalderen. Bussen stopper rett utenfor hotellet. Det finnes iflg hotellbetjeningen ikke noe busskart over Roma, så det er ikke så lett å orientere seg om bussruter. Det enkleste er å ta bussen FRA hotellet og merke seg stoppestedene langs ruten med sikte på hjemturen. Det gjorde ikke vi, og etter en lang dag i Roma måtte vi til Termini for å finne busstoppet som kunne lede oss tilbake til hotellet. På Termini finner man busstoppet i utkanten av busstasjonen, rett frem/mot høyre når du står med ryggen mot inngangen, dvs. ut i veien. En anmeldelse sa at strøket rundt hotellet var skummelt, men det er bare et ordinært universitetsområde, og det føltes trygt hele veien, selv om vi spaserte hjem fra metrostopp Policlinico i halv ti-tiden. Et billigere alternativ til dobbeltdeckerbussene er å kjøpe dagspass, som dekker både buss og metro. Slike pass får du på metrostasjonene. Les mer
"strålende hotell!"
Hotellet var helt strålende isolert sett! God frokost til italiensk hotell å være. Ligger midt i universitetsområdet, men lite støy om natten. 5 min å gå til metrostasjonen, to stasjoner unna Termini (sentralbanestasjon). Lå utenfor turistkartene vi hadde, så litt vanskelig å finne frem hvis man ville gå til/fra byen. Få restauranter i nærheten, så […] vi endte alltid med å ta metroen inn til sentrum for å spise der. Anbefaler hotellet dersom du vil bruke penger på andre ting enn overnatting, og likevel vil bo rent og pent med frokost inkludert. "Globus hotel - a pleasant surprise"
We were pleasantly surprised with Hotel Globus! It was nice and clean, and looked like it was newly renovated. The rooms were not very big, but had a little balcony. I find it to be perfect for a long week end in Rome, and reasonably priced (we were there off season). We were concerned it would be somewhat far away from the center, but altough located […] on the opposite site from Termini from the city centre, it is not far, and it is close to the metro and tram. "Best western globus Roma - utrolig service!!"
Et koselig hotell som ligger litt utenfor serverdighetsområdet. Fem minutter for å gå til metrostasjonen for å vente fire stopp for å gå rett av ved colusseum. Veldig enkel transportmetode. Veldig hyggelig betjening som gjør alt for at du skal ha en fint opphold. Fint område rundt hotellet som byr på mange lokale, hyggelige resturanter med mye bedre […] pizza og pasta enn den i sentrum! Hotell som overgår forventningene iht. området rundt. Ligger litt langt fra bykjernen (metro nødvendig) som gjør det krevende å dra inn til byen igjen om kvelden etter en lang dag med sightseeing. Mange gode "pizzakiosker" i nærheten med ekstremt god pizza, så istedetfor restaurant hver kveld ble vin og pizza på hotellrommet en hit. "A FAIR STAY"
It was a pleasant and quiet hotel in a good neighbourhood (university). The breakfast was nice with various snacks for every appetite. The room was clean and cosy but the bathroom a little bit small. During the first day we had a problem with the hot water but the staff tried to fix it immediately, athogh we still had to wait about five minutes for […] hot water. The location of the hotal is not very convenient for sightseeing because you have to change metro line to reach all the roman sites excepr Colisseum and this becomes kind of tiring when you have to do it at least twice a day. In addition, you also have to walk about 500 meters to get to the closest metro stop (Policlinico). As a closure, i think that the hotel offers you a fair stay with a lot of benefits but also some drawbacks that you have to consider if you want to spend your stay in Rome as an original tourist. Not really a Best Western Hotel. Rooms quite small but adequate for a short stay. A BIT FAR AWAY FROM THE CENTRE (2 stops) and 10 min walk to Metro. Be wary of Pickpockets on Metro. Women with babys act as distractors.
"Great bang for the buck"
Hotel rooms were a bit on the small side but staff was extra friendly. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel as we spent the day in the city even after we checked out. The breakfast buffet is also exceptional

"Best Western Globus- good value"
While this hotel is not central, it is only two metro stops or one bus ride from termini. The policinico metro stop is two blocks away. The hotel is located in a university/hospital area. Great pizza shops abound and there is a small market just down the street on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. A larger market and pharmacy is located near […] the computer store and office buildings at the major road junction where you get off the metro line. By the way, there is a disabled elevator at one of the metro exits which helps with your luggage. The room we had was on the top floor which was great. We had our own deck area which had high shade potted plants. Breakfast was very good for Italy. They had hot scrambled eggs as well as the usual continetal breakfast items. The only thing lacking was poor maintance of our bathroom shower. The head was damaged and had scale build up, and the glass shower door over the bath was missing the rubber seal towards the wall and as a result water flooded the floor. These are easy items for them to fix. The staff had good english and there is free wi fi in the lobby and two computers for guest use. For the price, great value. Les mer
"Globus Hotel - close to La Sapienza and Metro"
This hotel appears to be undergoing some low-level renovation with evidence of construction in the stairwells and on some floors. But there was no noise at any time. The front desk personnel were extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were on the small side but comfortable. Costs fluctuate wildly depending on the day of the week and, presumably, […] time of year. During my one-week stay (May 2011), the nightly rate increased by 133% over the course of the week. (TH,FR,SA being the most expensive). The breakfast room was clean and roomy. Breakfast included hot and cold dishes buffet style, including a self-serve espresso machine. My only complaint is that the advertised wireless internet access was completely unreliable. The only place where one had a fighting chance to connect successfully was in the hotel lobby. (Rooms have wired access too, but at least in my room, that port was dead.) Les mer
A little difficult to find from the metro but once located there were no issues. Room was great - beds a little hard for our liking - but other than that no complaints. Breakfast buffet was really good. Had dinner in the restaurant one night, quality of food and price were good. Would stay again if in Rome in the future.
"In a shady neighborhood - Best Western Globus"
I was not impressed by several things, primarily these two (a) the reception staff made no effort to communicate in English even though they knew I was not Italian, (b) the location of the hotel seems run-down with graffetti filled walls and desolate after sundown. We didn't feel safe to venture out as well. Getting to the center city or places to visit […] by taxi is costly so folks should factor in that when they choose this place. "Excellent base for exploring Rome"
We have stayed in a quite a few hotels this year and this was the best one out of all of them. It's clean, modern, and quiet. Internet was free of charge. The only downside is the location. It's quite far out of town, but you can use the metro, which is only about a 300 metres walk away. At breakfast there was plenty of choice.

"Best Western Roma Globus"
This hotel and staff and breakfast were brilliant. Firstly the Staff - the guys and gals at the front dest were brilliant, really really friendly, go with a happy face and they really will go above and beyond (my partner took ill and they printed off a list and maps of local 24 hour pharmacy's... thats amazing service to me. The breakfast - what a […] buffet - went out full to the brim in the morning great stuff, amzing range. The hotel - Nice quaint hotel, securities great, the rooms were lovely and clean and massive telly (although it was all in Italian ;-) ), the cleaners were really helpful giving extra towels and cups when needed even with the language barrier. The Nicest people in Rome work in this hotel, and they really helped to make our holiday great The areas really friendly a little out of the city but thats good as its nice and quiet at night Thank you to all the guys at the Best western Roma Globus, If i knew anyone going to Rome id definitely recommend this place. The hotel has very thin wall between rooms. If the neighbors are make noise, you just cannot sleep.

"Best Western Roma Globus - we loved Rome..."
We got lucky and found a free parking spot for our rental car right next to the hotel and we left it there for three days and took the train to see the sights. The location of this hotel makes for easy excursions to all of the tourist spots. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the metro where you can drop your Euros into a machine that sells you cheap/easy […] transport all over Rome. The front desk staff gave us the keys to our very nice and clean and comfortable room. AC was nice. Beds were great and all was very clean. There's a great wine store about two blocks from Best Western Roma Globus and we headed there after check in. We also found some good food in the area - pizza, happy hour appetizers, gelato, etc. We did all the tourist stuff for three days and enjoyed our time in Rome. The breakfast and dinner at Best Western Roma Globus' restaurant were very good - breakfast was included - dinner was affordable and very convenient and tasty. The staff were all very nice - this is a good place away from the crowds where you can base camp and see Rome - do it! Les mer
"For budget travel and alright stay"
You can choose to stay here if you want a comfortable bed and clean room basicly.The service is good with sufficient information. Breakfast has a variation and a long opening time. The shower has good presse and hot water. The ambulance cars nearby fortunately didn't disdurb our sleep much. The room is very small with basic conditions but quite clean. […] Flat TV with only a few chanels, but we almost didn't spend time on it. The location is ok for us, just 2 stops away from Termini, but not very convenient for senior turists. You need 10 mins to walk to the nearest metro station and then change to Line A at Termini if necessary. The metro stops at 11.30pm. "Brilliant service, low price!"
Outstanding check in service. We arrived early morning and were able to store our bags securely. Staff were very helpful at all times, breakfast was adequate. Really very good for the price. Would definately stay again.

"Great Hotel, value for money"
Very friendly staffs who speak good English. They are helpful and courteous. The room is spacious, with a walk-in closet, foyer and we got 2 double bed for 3 persons. Breakfast was great, good choices and the lady who greeted us at the breakfast room never failed to smile and made us feel welcome all the time. Bathroom is spacious, clean, no moulds […] or whatsoever. Rooms are cleaned everyday. The only thing I dislike is the distance from the hotel to Policlinico Metro station. Quite a distance to walk expecially after a long day of sightseeing. But the reward is a great Gelato shop not far from the hotel that has many flavours and the best we have tasted in Italy. Les mer
"Worst "towels" I have ever seen."
I was very disappointed with the hotel and service. The rooms were not very comfortable and I didn't get the impression of cleanliness, even though I couldn't really see a lot of dirt on a quick look. I spent a night there, as part of our honeymoon trip to Italy. I had emailed the hotel before, to ask them to guarantee we would get a double bed. They […] sent an email back, saying it was confirmed. When we got to the room, there we 2 single beds... the hotel didn't even bother in trying to place them close together. The bath towels were the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life. They were not exactly towels, more like a gigantic tea towel. I called reception to try to get decent ones, but they said that's all they had. To add another negative to our stay, we had to print our boarding passes to catch an early flight on the next day. It was a bank holiday in Italy, which means most of internet cafes would be closed. The hotel has no internet facilities, no wi-fi and they were also incapable of printing the boarding passes for us on the reception computer. Les mer

The day staff was great. The night male receptionist was left a lot to be desired. The room was clean, beds comfortable. Close to the subway, within walking distance. Prices reasonable especially for Italy. Overall a good stay.

Two of us were able to check in early, this is 1:00pm, but the curtains did not function properly. Terrace overlooked the busy street of Ippocrates, but even with doors closed noise was bothersome. Breakfast was included and very good!!! The staff at the desk were ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT at all times: made reservations, responded to concerns, gave directions, […] took real interest and concern. Our room was 316, it was a small room with a double bed and a balcony, there was no coffee/teamaker as described, the fridge was also not working. Try ´to avoid the x16 rooms, they are all small and plain. The desk is also not helpfull and at times frustrating.

"Perfect for Families visiting Rome"
The family room was excellent. Two adultds and two children were very comfortable. Very clean room, friendly staff and a very nice breakfast sets you up nicely for the days sightseeing. We would recommend this hotel highly and will definately stay again.
