Meget fornøyd, grei restaurant med generelt bra standard, ok. shuttelbuss-service.

Hotellets gratis shuttlebuss til flyplassen tar bare 5-8 minutter, og du velger avgangstid kvelden før. God punktlighet. Variert frokost. Litt for liten frokostsal på noen tider. Helt greie rom sett opp mot prisen.

Bra standard på rom i forhold til pris. Bra i forhold til overnatting før flyavgang / ankomst. Grei Shuttlebusordning til flyplass. Skal du oppleve Madrid er dette for langt borte fra sentrum og resturanter osv. Velg da et hotell i sentrum. En i reisefølget glemte igjen en mobiltelefon på rommet. To uker sere dro vi innom før flyavgang hjem, for å hsjekke […] om telefonen var funnet. Joda den var registrert på rom og navn osv og behørig oppbevart. De lot ting ligge i tre uker, deretter tok de kontakt med kunde om mulig, for eventuelt å postsende til kunde. Dette opplevdes som veldig god service. Les mer

The Tryp Diana is in the middle of a refurb. Most of the rooms have now been done and are certainly of a reasonable standard. As with all hotels in Spain subtract one star to get an approximation of UK standards. This is a UK 3 star essentially. The good bits are that the room is clean and refreshed to a great standard everyday. It is only a few minutes […] drive to Madrid Barajas Airport too. The downs are that reception can get monster queues and you can wait for ages for the complimentary airport shuttle heading to the hotel. After 40 minutes in 8 degrees cold one night I did ask the driver where he had been and he told me that 40 minutes is normal. On balance a reasonable hotel convenient for the airport at an attractive price. Les mer

hotel is excellent either for a lay over near the aiport or for a visit to madrid due to its location near to a subway station. price is more than fare for the room you get and the location. brkfast is also great!

We only stayed one night because we had a flight in the morning from Madrid -Barajas airport. It was comfortable, had several lounges, restaurants abd best of all, free shuttle service to the airport.

Because we knew from previous posts that the hotel is/was going through renovations, we asked to have a finished room. The clerk said that the hotel construction was finished and all rooms had been updated. From what we could see, he was correct. Worth the 4 star rating, in fact we would advise you to book quickly before they raise the rates. Right […] now, it's an excellent value. There was a range of food choices right there on the premises, and the free shuttle was great. At airport pickup, make sure you are calling and going to the "Diana" Hotel. Les mer

I had a night to spent in transit and I was looking for a place with minimum cost. A good night sleep is all what I needed but with a low price offer I was a little nervous but this turn out be a good choice. No surprises ! So I can safely recommend this place for transit passengers

I had a short stay at this hotel in order to catch my early morning flight. Great price for the quality of the room and bed. No complaints other than it was impossible to park my car in the close vicinity. The hotel parking lot was full as well as all parking spots outside.

Ideal for the night before a flight out the next morning. Free shuttle to airport. Being remodeled/redecorated but not a problem.

Very convenient for Barajas airport. Staff very helpfull.

My plane arrived close to midnight and I did not want to go downtown. This was an excellent choice and the hotel was very good with friendly staff. There was no problem checking in. I first thought the Hotel Bus Stop was a NAME of a hote, but that is wrong. It is just a lane of the road in front of the terminal that is reserved for buses and hotel shuttles. […] It was not clear which shuttle I should use, so when going to Diana, find a car that says DIANA in the front (I boarded the wrong one and then had to get another one). I did not really find anybody speaking English at the terminal or the shuttle but it is possible to find your way OK. The hotel was really perfect and had it been at the center of town, I would surely stay there during my trip to Madrid. Les mer

I reserved a room with twin bed but finally i got bed for children. What has been agred by internet i did not get it and it was very unconfortable

We chose this hotel as it was close to the airport and had a shuttle. They were renovating the hotel so there was some construction going on but did not interfer with our stay. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was nice to have a bar with outside seating and snacks. It is in a very quiet residential neighborhood and we enjoyed walking around  […] it. Les mer

My son and I stayed in Barajas for two days . The subway is about 8 minutes from the hotel and takes you right into the center of Madrdi. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient. restaurants are in the hotel as well as walking distance.

Hard to find if driving there even with the GPS. In a residential neighborhood. Shuttle to airport was on time and free. Seems to run more efficiently that most hotels in Spain. Remodeling going on but whenever completed hotel will deserve the four stars. For the price it is the best deal in town if all you want is a place to spend the night before […] flying out. Caution: Don't risk even trying to make a call from the hotel room. We were charged almost 14 euros for a call to a cell phone in Valladolid. They just said we owed it and no details about how long the call, etc. We were in a hurry to leave and no time to argue. My wife did make a call but it was at the most 10 minutes. It would have been the same cost as using our AT&T US cell phone ($1.39 minute) so they charge the international rate for an in-Spain call. Les mer

We booked a room for 3 people, when we got there they told us the only had a room for 2 people with 2 single beds, THEN, told us they had no parking and that we'd have to find parking on the streets, which, if you know spain, is VERY hard to find. The Hotel was very ignorant and made it very uncomfortable to be there. Our bathroom was dirty and looked […] like it hadn't been cleaned. It was noisy, you could hear every movement and sound from the rooms next to us. The pool looked like a swamp. We went to the cafeteria to grab some quick dinner and were completely ignored by the staff there for over a half hour, until we finally got up and walked out. Also, the room we paid for was WAY overpriced for the quality of the room plus hotel. This hotel was dirty, had horrible service and no parking. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE! If you want a nice hotel, go to Clement Barajas, MUCH nicer and AND more affordable, also just as close to the airport with parking AND wake up and shuttle services. Don't make the same mistake we did by staying here, we paid less for a much nicer hotel in a better location. Not worth even a night Les mer

If you need to lay-over in Madrid this is a nice place to do it. It's out by the airport and they have a shuttle to pick you up and take you back for your flight. Big room, cable, and they have internet but it's very expensive (6euros/hour). There are a few places to eat right at the hotel so you do not have to go out (which is good because there is […] nothing in walking distance). Overall a very positive experience. Raleigh, NC. This hotel although a tad dated is very convinient for Barajas Airport. Although our room was a little tired it contained the three basics for a good stay. Thick curtains, a comfy bed and hot running water., The hotel though was difficult to find, and I got lost twice on the walk from the nearest metro station. The hotel was conveniently close to the airport and had complimentary shuttle service which was a definate plus. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and affordable- 3 course meal for $14 euros. Bedroom was big and spacious. Best hotel facility between Madrid and Barcelona.

Great location if you need to be close to the Barajas Airport, just 10 minutes. The hotel is old but under renovation. Very clean room. There were no interesting attractions nearby. Good and quiet neighborhood. Better if you arrange the shuttle airpot/hotel in advance or take a taxi. Good for a one-night stay. Staff was attentive but always busy.

Perfect place to stay if you need to be near airport for early morning flight. Surrounding neighborhood is charming and hotel offers several places to eat and many services for a small hotel. Only issue was hallway carpeting was trashed, torn and dangerous in spots. Otherwise good price for this hotel to stay one night before flying out.

Charge 6 euro / hour for WiFi access, 400m to the nearest metro station, no hair dryer in the room... one nice front desk cleark, but others.... not so friendly. Overall, I don`t think I`ll stay this hotel again.

This hotel is a must if your in Madrid just for a night or two before your next flight. Its about a 5 minute shuttle ride from the airport, if even. The reception was very friendly and they help you set up a shuttle for the next day (plus they speak both English and Spanish). Clean rooms, nice pool area, and a few places to eat in the hotel. I was so disappointed with the reccomendation from not only Hotels.com but American Airlines, as well. Bring a bar of soap and a pillow. There are no ammenities except a comb and a shower cap. There are a few food services available but you must pay cash. I stayed there because of a delay of my flight back to the US. The only good element was the airport […] shuttle service. Les mer

I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived in our room. The hotel is under renovation and I wasn't sure what to expect. Our bathroom was brand new and beautifully done. The room is basic but very clean. The location is excellent. It's easy to get to the metro to get into Madrid , in a safe and nice neighborhood, and very close to he airport. The service in this hotel is terrible, personnel is very rude, no customer service at all. Bad smell in the carpet and the prices of the services in the hotel are high. Please do not book this hotel, it is a shame of place. My visiti to Madrid was ruined due to this place

Not especially easy to locate and with no on-site parking, you'd do best to arrive and depart by the free shuttle provided to the airport. Quiet neighborhood with good hotel restaurants. Lobby internet service expensive and slow but rooms were adequate...not a "destination hotel" by any means and certainly not a 4 star hotel but a value for the price […] and I would stay there prior to departure from Spain again. Booked for 3 male adults, expected to have to toss a coin to see who shares, pleasent surprise to find extra bed put in the room. Very clean room & bathroom. Superb all you can eat buffet breakfast at a reasonable price.

Nice neighborhood in the Madrid suburbs and close to airport with a complimentary airport shuttle. Although the scheduling of the shuttle could be improved. Adequate food and drink establishments inside the hotel. A 5 min walk to the last stop on one of the Madrid metro's lines. Rather rude staff however and a hotel that is partially under construction […] was less to then desirable. NO internet in the room only downstairs and with an outrageous rate. Not for the business traveler IMHO. Les mer

The hotel is convenient to the airport, with a shuttle running regularly. We had dinner down at the bar, and the food was very reasonably priced. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, and once the work is done, I feel confident the hotel will seem like the 4 star hotel that it is listed as. Our room was right next to the elevator, so it was […] quite loud. For our purposes (convenience to the airport) this was an excellent choice. If you are visiting Madrid on vacation, I suggest staying closer to the city. Les mer

The only thing that was missing was a clock or clock/radio. My cell phone was stolen at the airport and I couldn't tell what time it was. I had to keep calling the hotel desk .... I was afraid that I was going to oversleep and miss my flight in the morning. Other than that, everything was fine.

This hotel claims to be 4 star no way it rates 4 stars. The place is old worn out dirty,beds are like camp cots. bathroom dark chipped tiles

This hotel is undergoing renovation, hence they have very good deals on the nightly rate. However, they charge in-room Internet access at a ridiculous rate of 6 euros/hour, and you don't get to know this until you're already there! The very same chain offers Internet service for free at other locations. So, I have to conclude that they want to compensate […] the low room rate charging a lot for Internet. Les mer
