You couldn't ask for a better hotel right, bang next to the station. I was expecting a 'posh Travelodge', and was delighted to be staying in a truly lovely hotel that has everything you should need for a great stay in Leeds. The service was great and the rooms, although small, were very clean. Would definitely recommend for a city break.

Good location in the city next to the railway station, staff were friendly and the hotel and room was clean. Our room was right next to the lift shaft and therfore it was really noisy all night and I didn't have a good nights sleep. I'd expect a room away from the lift to be ok, though when booking through hotels.com just be aware that they can't guarantee your requested room - I booked a room with two twin beds and ended up in a double.

Nice stylish hotel in perfect location. Competent and friendly staff. Beautiful art deco rooms and communal areas. Minor faults in my room (one light not working, less than perfect shower and flush) that could do with improving. Very good restaurant with good waitering.

I stayed here for one night on the 1st of oct 2009 this hotel was fantastic we had a very relaxing time the staff were all very friendly and u was made to feel very welcome the check in staff also let us in our room at 10.30 as checkin isnt till 2pm and we paid a further fee to stay till 3pm on day of leaving the rooms are so pretty and the bed oh my gosh the bed was amazing what a fantastic nights sleep we had infact the hotel was so wonderful we have booked for a 2 night stay this time in end of oct....

Excellent value, very nice place, and conveniently located in the heart of the city and within walking distance of most areas of interest. Being right next door to the train station is a tremendous advantage too.

Excellent service from the moment I arrived after a confusing trip round the Leeds 'loop'. Car taken away and I was checked in immediately. Room was spacious but rather dark and dreary very dirty net curtains at window. It did have everything that you would need on first glance. Later though when I came back in the evening the TV refused to work. A call to reception was quickly acted on and the problem resolved. After having a bath the plug stuck and as it was late I did not bother to call to have it fixed so no shower in the morning! Breakfast was quick and check out good. Very much a business hotel and would not recommend it for a leisure stay.

Very impressed, the hotel was clean, it had lots of character and the staff were helpful and polite. The room was bright and had been recently modernised to a high standard. My only small niggle was no free water in the room, it had some in the mini bar but at extra cost.

This may be a four star in Leeds but in the rest of Europe in my view, more like a two. for example the hotel rooms and suites have furniture that is very shabby/worn/tired, not sure which word is more appropriate, the net curtains dirty and Grey, the whole hotel felt dirty and un-welcoming.

I headed to Leeds not knowing anyone or anything about the town. The Queens looked like a grand hotel in a convenient location at a great price. I was right. It was everything I expected it to be. I loved my room, I loved the feel of the hotel. I loved the convenience of its location and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. It was a great stay and I will definintely be recommending this hotel and most definitely be returning for another stay.

Stayed here for one night on business. Great location, right above train station, with a door onto the main station concourse. Lovely Art Deco interior, extremely pleasant and friendly staff. The bar area is nice and quiet for meetings, excellent coffee. Nice rooms. Breakfast was very good.

It took us ages to actually get to the hotel, we cheated and went into a bus lane to get to it as we couldn't get to outside the hotel. The hotel itself was really nice, the staff were friendly, the room clean and spacious. The only negative about the hotel is when you check out everyone else is too and there was quite a wait to check out and then you had to wait to get your car. There were a few complaints about this from other guests. Would stay again though, location is great for all the nice bars and restaurants.

I reserved a twin room but was given a double on check in at 11pm and I was too tired to argue. They offered to change it the following day but why have the option on the booking website if it is just going to be ignored... Rest of the hotel was pretty good resi bar closes a bit early. The breakfast buffet was superb and catered for all tastes.

Excellent location right in the centre of Leeds. Impressive building at the foot of City Square. Very comfortable and nicley styled (1930s-art deco) rooms. Pleasant and efficient staff. Quite busy with weddings at the weekend on my trip.

The hotel has had a re-infurbishment and looks very chic...although the bathroom was rather small ,and despite using the double shower curtian provided water leaked slightly outsite of the bathroom....overall the service was very high

this has to be the worst 4 star hotel in the world,from check in to check out,it was a nightmare,quality of the room was poor,they try to trick you in giving you a bfast voucher which entiltles u to a bfast at 9.99,and if you dont use it they charge you for the voucher which is a worth less peice of paper,you can hear trafic in your room all night,hence no sleep, stay else were,u can get the marriott which is cheaper and better

Lovely hotel, comfortable room. Art deco details a delight on the eye. Good location. Staff very friendly but they totally messed up my bag collection and car delivery at the end of my stay - really important as I was setting off for a job interview and so I had stressed how important it was that I had an efficient and stress free start to the day. I didn't!! But I did get the job. I would return to this hotel for its pleasant ambience and good location.

Jag och min dotter hade bokat ett dubbel rum. När vi kom in på rummet såg vi att rummet bara hade en dubbel säng vi gick ner till receptionen och byte till ett rum med två enkelsängar inga problem. Annars var rummen fräscha om än något äldre inredning.

Grundsätzlich ein ganz gutes Hotel, doch vier Sterne sind nicht europaeischer Standard hier. Wie schon die Aussenfassade ist es auch innen etwas ueberholungsbeduerftig. Alle vier Sterne Annehmlichkeiten (Mini-Bar, Safe, ...) waren vorhanden. Der Concierge war auch immer sehr zuvorkommend, als ich auf meinen verschwundenen Koffer wartete. Doch nach Dienstwechsel waren meine Bitten um Verstaendigung usw. wieder verschwunden. Zimmer echt riesig, doch genauer in die Ecken im Bad usw. sollte man nicht schauen.
