Embassy Suites Santa Clara - Silicon Valley/Great America - Santa Clara

We stayed here one night on the way to San Simeon. It was in good location to access food. Was more of a utility stay not seeking scenery etc.

the rooms are a little bit dated but have been well cared for. the bed is soooo comfy! love the breakfast!

smoking and non smoking rooms are on the same level!!.. the smoke hits you as soon as you exit the elevator,, not cool espically with children. probably wont stay again beacuase of that i dont like any smoke around me or the children.

We have stayed here before and always have a great time staying here, but this weekend the pool was not working n was told thar we could go to milpitas or to a hotel near the embassy hotel!! Other than that we had a great time

Although I booked a standard 450 sq ft room as was in the description when booking through Hotels.com, the Embassy Suites Santa Clara hotel gave me one of the smallest rooms that was around 200 sq ft next to the stairwell. It was.perfect especially having kids. The indoor pool was perfect for this time of the year and the separate room from the livingroom was so nice

We had a very nice stay, rooms were very nice, Starbucks in the hallway, and all in all, a pleasant experience. We will be back. Our only area of concern is there was an odor in the pool similar to feet, which would remain on your body/clothes and hair. However there were nice showers by the pool to rinse off, or just shower in the room. I did smell […] chlorine, so perhaps a shock treatment is not the answer, changing the water should fix this. Just stayed the nite but was very Comfy , Very Clean and the room was preset to 72 degrees ... So very pleasant nite as well as the outstanding breakfast ..

I can't believe I just stayed at a hotel in Silicon Valley that did not offer free wifi. I am a Hilton rewards and AT&T customer and neither of those worked to get on line for free (which by the way I shouldn't have needed either of those, the hotel should have offered it no strings attached). We were on a no-smoking floor (10th) but we could smell […] smoke through the ventilation system. Also, the guests next door had a loud party around 6:30 am which was very annoying as we did not need to get up until 8. Liked the fact the pool and hot tub were open late and breakfast was nice. my only issue is the manager's welcome in the evening. I never did see the manager. Perhaps it's because he didn't want to surface for some cheap drinks and chips/popcorn. After seeing how little "snacks" there were I only went twice. This is the only one of this chain that has skimped on the treats in the evening. Easy access from freeway....Very quiet room and no noise in the hallways. Big and roomy with comfortable bed and pillows.Staff was very helpful and friendly. Close to family gathering in Santa Clara and would stay again. Loved the "cook to order" breakfast too. Visitors from Wa. state

This hotel is really good for everyone, I stayed here for nine nights with the family and children. We surely enjoyed our stay, especially the free continental breakfast that was out awesome and Manager special every evening (unlimited drinks). The connectivity to nearby cities, restaurants, malls, entertainment places and the convention center are […] worth. Parking is plenty, TV and Internet are free. Hotel is well maintained, friendly staff. The food at restaurant is bit expensive but there are plenty of nearby restaurants where we can eat. Professional, friendly staff, extremely comfortable beds, the best complimentary breakfast ever! Embassy Suites is a little more expensive, but the service and benefits are worth it!

First, let me say I love this hotel. I've always enjoyed a two room suite with two big screen TVs, a microwave and fridge, and the fantastic breakfast. However, I learned what "Accessible" means and why it's cheaper. It means that this room is next to fire escape stairwell. It also means that the stairwell eats up the front room. So, you don't get two […] rooms. You end up with a loooong hallway that goes past the stairwell with a smaller-than-normal bedroom. I asked to be moved and they moved me for the second and third night of our stay to a normal two room suite. They even moved our luggage while we were out for the day. All was good. Les mer

Overall nice experience. The wi-fi is free in the lobby versus your room. The room service was prompt and delicious. The only complaint was the construction work next to the hotel; they started very early in the morning.

We follow the Embassy Suites every time we go on vacation with our children. Love the service, Happy Hour & Breakfast Buffet. This hotel is very clean & organized especially during breakfast because they hand out tickets for the guests. Will definitely stay again! :)

As usual, the Embassy Suites are a very nice place to stay. However, this particular one is one of the older hotels and could use some updating - like popcorn ceilings, room bar area very inconvenient, etc. But, all and all, it's very nice hotel.

Very nice hotel. we love staying at the Embassy Suites, but this one is one of the nicest one we have stayed at. As always breakfast was awesome.

Love the location of this hotel for the ease to access HWY 101. Great made to order breakfast and managers reception. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was in an odd spot with major construction going on. The buffet breakfast was congested, but very good--we had made to order omelette created by a really cheerful chef. The room was more than adequate for our multiple generation needs, except that the sofa bed was a double and uncomfortable (the king was great). My one complaint about the hotel is that they are situated in Silicon Valley and still charge for wifi access. Not only that, but they charge per device and not a room charge so that if you have two laptops or a laptop and a smartphone and get access for both, you will be charged twice (throw in an iPad and it would probably be three charges).Totally […] within the right of the hotel to do this, but it is this type of nickel and dime money grab that leaves a bad impression. On the first day we checked in, we were given a room with a dirty bathroom; the room smells like a dirty bathroom and also smells like moldy. I called the desk and at first the clerk was not willing to give us a new room and said they are fully booked; until I said that we made the reservation for a smoking suite room and paid in full. We were moved […] to the next room and it was better, but as i go in to the bathroom, there was already a cigarette butt in the trash can. Therefore, someone smoked in the room. The next day, the supplies were not complete. I have to call for an extra toilet paper, extra cup for coffee. Again, on the third day, when we came back, there was again a cigarette butt in the trash can in the bathroom. Also, the bed that was made was crumpled in the middle, which means that someone was sitting in it. Bottom line, this was not the service we expected for the price we paid for the room. We could have stayed in a cheaper hotel and we would have probably had a better service and a better accomodation. This not the first or second time we used Embassy Suites. Our stay at Milpitas were before were a lot better. Les mer
