I travel about once a month and write reviews for the hotels I stay and they are mostly positive. So I'm not that guy who always complains, in fact I'm quick to even send the manager a personal note telling him about how great his staff is. The service here was terrible. We had breakfast in the hotel on Sunday before check out and after breakfast the […] entire staff left, leaving us wondering how to pay the bill. We waited 20 minutes and no one ever came from the back. People were waiting to be seated and they left. I attempted to pay the bill at the front desk after waiting another 20 minutes. There were 2 front desk agents...well really 3 (3rd was for Starwood Preffered who did not help anyone) Once it was my turn I was told I could nat pay the bill there. I told her there was no one to pay at the restaurant and offered me $4 off the bill for me waiting 40 minutes. I asked for the manager and was told there was none at this time. In review the breakfast was horrible, the service even more horrible, the hair in the bathroom even more horrible than that, but the bed was comfy. Les mer

The reason of my stay was to celebrate a birthday and they said they were a "NO PARTY HOTEL" for the past year. I had called to make sure of this when I booked and was told it was not a problem. I was stopped by security when I carried in a cake box. This was very disappointing to my guests. I would have left had I been able to get in touch with everyone. […] I was allowed to order pizza and drinks and yet no one could have cake. I could not even have it served. The hallway carpet was very stained in many places, there was loud people all night long. The room was old and many stains on carpet. Musty smell. The beds were comfortable. Not up to the standards I am used to. I told the manager to add no parties or cake on her personal website. I rather doubt they will. I will not ever stay here again. Les mer

When making the reservation we were not informed of the per day/per car parking charge. Four girlfriends meeting up, driving in from 4 different states! We also were not informed that the hotel was being painted or under any kind of remodeling etc. We chose this hotel for the heated indoor pool and hot tub...both of which were shut down the evening […] we checked in! There seemed to be a multitude of children staying at this hotel. Security stated that was the "norm" every weekend. We had to call security several times for the noise.The hotel has you sign an additional disclaimer about about noise and disturbances, but then it is not enforced so that all the guest can enjoy their stay! Last but not least after all of that we were awaken early Sunday morning by loud drums and music. The hotel host a church service in one of the conference rooms on the lobby level that could be heard on the 3rd floor...Are you kidding me! The entire stay was a disappointment. This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Although the appearance would lead you believe the hotel is upscale, it is party central. Do not come here if you want to sleep at night. The noise not only came from the rooms, but from guests running throughout the floors. Calling the front desk to take care of it is a joke. Too much noise in hallways and it all goes through walls and doors. Housekeeping is knocking every door to find where the service was requested - this is ridiculous. Not a 3.5 stars hotel at all. Great location if you want to be near the airport with a close drive into Philadelphia minus the construction work on the roads. The room was very comfortable but lacks the convenience of a microwave. I'd skip the hotel breakfast and head somewhere local. The shuttle service to the airport was great! One hiccup was that we had called ahead to have a […] crib in the room. When we arrived, our reservation showed no record of the request but they were going to accomodate us quickly. When we went to the room the crib was already in place as requested so there was a simple disconnect in communication. They did what they said they would but the on site staff didn't know it had been done. I'd definitely stay again especially with the great weekend rates! Les mer

We went for a weekend pleasure trip to sight see, and figured for the amenities offered by this hotel, compared with pricier options in the city, it would be a very good value. The hotel itself was everything expected - very nice suites with large living room area, comfortable beds, modernized, flat screen tvs, etc. The layout of the hotel was both […] appealing and efficient, from the computer cafe, to the restaurant location - very open and easy to access. Where we were disappointed was in the service level. Check-in took 30 minutes, even though the rooms were pre-paid for well in advance. The front desk had system problems they scrambled to fix and their computers kept locking up. Traveling as couples we were booked (although I bought both rooms at the same time) in very different areas of the hotel not close to each other. The front desk staff comped us with a discount on breakfast. Next, we planned a visit to the whirlpool and swimming pool during the adult hours. The pool area was closed for a pro-longed time (over an hour) as they got someone to service it. The listing says they have a sauna/steam room, but they do not. At breakfast the next day, we had an extremely long wait for service although there weren't many customers. The menu was ideal, but it seems the cook did not show up for work, and the waitresses had to prepare the food themselves. A person in our group ordered the same thing they had the day before, but it came prepared differently. Again, they offered to reduce the cost of breakfast without even asking. It was during a youth cheerleading competition, and the kids were allowed to make noise in a central location on the second floor well after midnight. This area is very close to the guest rooms where they could be heard but staff did not intervene. Lastly, the centralized parking lot shared by the 3 hotels didn't work so smoothly. Arriving late (1:20am) after two flights, I booked the airport hotel to get to sleep as soon as possible. The airport shuttle provided by the Sheraton could not find me. I walked from terminal to terminal several times, per the instructions of the hotel when I called them. It took over 90 minutes to get 1 mile to the hotel, and I wish I had not stayed […] there at all. The next morning, it took the taxi 30 minutes to arrive, as I waited in the lobby. Les mer

Nice place but not really affordable for a large family - seems like they can nickel n dime ya to death if they could. No breakfast and parking was additional. Also, the room description told to us by hotels.com wasn't true :(

Hotel was nice, however they are still doing some construction. (there was construction there a year ago as well). Very difficult to navigate to, especially with all the road work going on, took an hour to go the last 1.5 miles to get in. The worst thing a out this place was the gate getting in and out! The key to come/go didn't work for anyone. It […] took 20-30 mins to enter or exit the parking lot. Who might I add is shared between 4 hotels so parking was tough! The accrual hotel was nice but would not return do to the convienience factor. If you are looking to make things easy, spend the extra $ and stay downtown. I figured between parking in lots if you leave to hotel, it's only like 35 more a night. If you are flying I would be cautious, the parking gate may make you miss a flight! Les mer

The room was one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was was very clean and quite comfotable.The only complaint is that we picked that hotel so we could relax in the pool and hot tub but found both, especially the pool, a bit chilly. I did mention this to the manager but they never turned it up.

The description on your web page did not match the Hotel as it has no Steam or Sauna fitness facility, our primary reason for booking this Hotel as it was out of town and difficult to access.I need the facility for health reasons so it was disappointing as we could have gone elsewhere, albeit more expensive. Very disappointed that rooms are not WiFi ready.. very inconvenient that one had to use lobby or pay for service. Poor managing getting in/out.. no one at gate making for long lines and waiting for people to manage the gates. Room located near power units which made for very noisy stay.

Usually a good stay, this time might have just been the exception to the rule, Nice hotel but not the easiest access to get to from the highway, the adddress does not register on my GPS so that is a slight problem, Maid service was not done one night and when I requested service once I returned from work the gentleman was a bit arogant accusing me that […] my do not disturb sign must have been on the door which it was not, when I asked him to send someone to clean the room because I had stained pillow cases as well when I checked in that had not been replaced his solution was to send me towels and more pillow cases to change myself, I travel 10 days out of every month for business and I have had issues with Sheraton in the past so I will avoid using them in the future for awhile, my stay was 5 days so perhaps this hotel would be a better choice if it was just a day or two stay, the longer the stay at Sheratons the service seems to not be as consistant as it is for a one or two night stay, Les mer

This is my tenth time going to his hotel & everytime i come to this hotel i always enjoy myself. The hotel is always clean. The pool & hot tub is always a treat, not really big, but the temperature is always great. The location is perfect for my family who frequents the mall & south street to do some shopping. I travel every week and stay in Hotels 2-4 nights a week.This is the best hotel for the $$ I have stayed in for some time.The front desk was courteous and friendly. The fitness area was adequate but be in a larger room.The bartender talked with guests in a relaxed atmosphere. All in all I would definetly stayed at this location again.

The first night there, we found the hotel and had to take a ticket and go through a gate to get into the parking area and reception area. There were three very large hotels serviced by the very large parking area with a gate. Well, when we got there, there were no more tickets and the gate went up automatically and let us in. We didn't think anything […] of it until the next day when we tried to leave the property. It was a NIGHTMARE!! There was a very long line of cars that went totally around each hotel and through the parking area. The place went crazy. The security guard at the gate was NOT letting anyone out!! THEIR rule was that you had to be an overnight guest with a validated ticket in order to leave without having to pay. Well, we waited in line over 45 minutes just to get to the gate!! I had already went into one of the lobbies of the hotel to complain and to find out what was going on and then then truth was that there was a malfunction when people were checking in the night before and they backed up all the traffic and refused to let ANYONE OUT the next day because of it!! I was outraged and insisted they open the gate to let us out but they absolutely refused. I complained to the hotel lobby and was given an 800 number to call to make my complaint known. I did, along with a line of other people. After 1 hour on the phone, between holds and transfers, I demanded compensation from them and they agreed to give me 1000 points on my "starwoods rewards" card. It still wouldn't amount to much, it takes much more than that to redeem them for a free night or a cup of coffee or anything. The upshot is that it made us late for the event we were to be attending and extremely inconvenient. I will NEVER stay there again and I have my reservations about ever staying at a Sheraton again. The location and shuttle for Philidelphia Airport is perfect.. The room was incredible. Very clean and very confortable. nice seating area with another flat screen in the room .. Staff were the best . Would stay here again Excellent value for the buck

We did the Hop On/ Hop Off Big Bus Tour of downtown Philly, excellent tour, 21 fabulous stops throughout downtown Philly, wonderful guided tour, ate a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich for lunch and finished up with a wonderful seafood dinner at Dinardos. What a fabulous day. The Big Bus will pick you up at your hotel just call them that day or the day before. […] Have fun Philly style! Les mer

this hotels dirty and grimey there were things all over the shower, the water sprinkler was falling apart, and the fridge had sticky stuff all over. The setup is similar to a dorm so you can hear every thing going on. There was some convention going on that we were not made aware of, so it was loud all day and night there and parking was horrible because […] they had ruins of non resident guests there... My room was not ready until 3 hours past the check in time. When I went to my room the door was promt open and there was a clip board still inside(like if someone was still working in the room). An hour later the maintenance guy knocked on my door to finish the work he was doing on a lamp. The day of departure, way before noon, I went to my car with […] luggage and when I came back to my room my lunch was gone. The cleaning crew picked it up and when I saw them 2 doors down I asked and she handed it back to me saying that she was just going to take it down to the main desk, yea right. Travelling via Philadelphia Airport the stay at the Sheraton Suites is a Great Value. Easily accessible and accommodations for a family with modern and clean amenities the Sheraton is definitely in tune with your comfort needs.

The hotel for the weekend was a great idea or so I thought. When I checked in, they basically threatened to sue ME if they thought I was having a party. I was told no more than 5 people to a room. ok, the first night, my children and I went to the pool but could only stay for a little because kids can only be there until 9. We returned to our room, […] which was a nice looking room, and watched movies. Outside in the hall there were people making alot of noise, music comin from the hall and nothing was done when I called for someone to come up. The next day, my children and I returned to the pool, where the pool attendant, fully dressed in a hoodie, jeans and construction boots, sat on his phone and watched as children entered the pool area with coats, sneakers and gift bags. There were about 10 kids and 3 adults. The adults had the kids undress right at pool side and get in the pool with underwear on, even some little girls, were allowed in with just panties on. The numbers continued to grow with outsiders coming in with gifts and undressing pool side and getting in. I took my children out of the pool and before going to my room I advised the front desk manager and security of the PARTY taking place at the pool. Security said he would handle it and the manager advised me to return in an hour. After an hour and thirty minutes, we returned to the pool to find more children than before. I asked the manager who asked the security guard who informed me the pool attendant advised they were all guest. Really???? With coats by the pool??? I asked to speak to a different manager, supervisor, anybodyand I was told to go to my room and someone would be with me. Around 9pm I returned to the pool to find a different supervisor pool side who was very upset that there were so many kids in the pool. She escorted all the families out, and advise me the clorine levels were so low, someone could be really sick. I told her of my experience, the lack of helpfullness from the staff and she Les mer

I have written about this hotel before because I love it. If you have to go to Philly; stay at this hotel. The staff friendly & helpful; the football, basketball & hockey stadiums within 3 miles of hotel; downtown is only 10 minutes away and a good cheesteak everywhere. Rooms are up to date with flat screen TV's & comfortable beds (almost better than […] home) with pillows that are so comfortable I went home and bought 4 from a local store. We were very happy with the overall hotel. They only complaint I have is the room next to us was having a teenage party and they were very loud and obnoxious! I had to call security to quiet them down but that lasted only a few minutes. Make sure you ask for a room that's not close to those planning too party all night, I got absolutely no sleep.

I'd chosen this hotel for it's proximity to family while visiting them over the Christmas holiday having no idea there'd be a convention going on in the hotel ... Who has a convention over Christmas? Alas, turns out that the Sheraton Suites Philadelphia was the site of a Musilm convention with more than 500 in attendance. Not exactly the sort of "Christmas" […] experieince I'd hoped for my family at this hotel in my hometown. The shuttle bus was not responsive. The other hotels had from 2-4 trips before 1 trip from this hotel. While waiting to check in, someone cut in and asked for a ride to a local store, which was approved. The room itself was comfortable.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise - extremely comfortable, very nicely appointed, convenient and reasonable. I highly recommend it!

We stayed overnight on new year's eve and although we expected a party or two, the room next to ours was out of control, with them charging door fee and line of about 40 people outside the door. I should note that after complaining of the unbearable noise twice the hotel did move us to a higher floor, and complimented free breakfast and parking. Broken lamp shades in suite area of the room. Broken electic plate on floor near lamp - never picked-up or replaced during entire visit - it was like that when we checked in.
