Econo Lodge Fresno - Fresno

It was close to freeway entrance, check-in and check-out were easy. The room was clean, if worn. The TV didn't work and the man sent to fix it was both clueless about how to fix it and quite dirty and unkempt.

Price was right for what you got. Easy on -off freeway (hyway 99). Coffee a little weak for the morning and breakfast limiting but Denny just down the road and next door gas station had great coffee. The hotel is close to freeway. Receptionist is rude and the floor of the room is very dirty. I'm not gonna stay in it again.

We needed a fairly inexpensive hotel for a business trip that was made at the last minute. The hotel was easy to find and there was easy access off the freeway. The area made me a little nervous. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very small, the floor was not clean, there was hair in the bathtub/shower. There was a burn […] hole in the bedspread. There was no coffee maker, however, there was a small continental type breakfast in the very small lobby. Would not stay here again. Les mer

They were newly remodeled and VERY clean. The owner was very accomidating. We were not looking for a five star hotel but just a clean comfortable place to sleep. We were very happy.

Ended up needing a last minute room with my boys and so we booked the most inexpensive one that I found. You get what you pay for... descent rooms and nice pool.. However they need a sign that says no jumping as the clerk was rude when he came in to tell my boys they couldn't jump in when the sign only said NO DIVING! My family and I decided to stay at the Econo Lodge because of the price value and recent reviews this hotel had received. Our trip was for Sequoia National Park and Yosemite National Park. The lodge was about 1.5 hours from Yosemite and about 1 hour from Sequoia. Overall quality of service was okay but its what you expect from a 2 rated star establishment. […] Check in was smooth and had no issues. The condition of the lodge was suprisingly well maintained. Clean outside and clean inside our room. Only thing I didn't like was the fact our sink in the bathroom would not drain properly. The room did not have an iron and when I asked about the iron, the front desk stated due to guests taking them, it was given to the guests based on request. Room was clean and comfortable. I like hard beds and it suited me well. Room had a frig which was good. The complimentary breakfast is continential and included the following: Waffles, Toast - wheat or white, 2 choices of mini danishes, coffee, orange juice, and 2 types of cereal. It was typical for this type of continental breakfast, but I hate the fact they did not have an area designated to eat your breakfast. You have to get the food from the small lobby and walk outside to the swimming pool area to eat. Had to sit on pool lounge chairs. The lodge is located near both 41 FWY (Yosemite) and teh 99 FWY. There are 2 gas stations located near this location which useful.During our stay I saw a person digging through the trash which was not appealing. The surrounding location of this lodge does not seem safe. Take caution after hours. I would recommend this if you are looking for value, not ammenities. Les mer

This Econo Lodge was really cute and clean, and it's literally right off the interstate. The mattresses and pillows were awesome, and the pool is little and nice at the end of a hot day. There are no real amenities to speak of, though there *are* waffles for breakfast. I guess some of the comments about the neighborhood make sense--there was definitely […] a hooker at the gas station across the street, but we never felt unsafe. My co-worker ran several miles every afternoon, and there was never any trouble. Great experience. Les mer

Econo lodge was so very nicely located. It is very visible from the freeway that one can not miss it from even a distance!

I've stayed at a lot of hotels and this is by far the worst one. The neighborhood is horrible. Pool was unheated and dirty. Comforter in the room had a hole in it. And this was the smallest hotel room I ever stayed in.
