Alt du trenger er i gangavstand fra hotellet. Strand, shopping, mat og fine parker for jogging. Mange resturanger i nærområdet og hotellet hjelper til med bestillinger. Leide bil via hotellet fungerte fing

We came in on dec 30. 2afults and 2 kids (5,7). New years eve was very nice, fireworks I we will never forgett! The beach is nice and quiet, with turtles swimming around. No waves, wich would be a bad thing if we were staying there for longer than a couple of days. All in all we were very pleased with our stay.

"Staff not very friendly"
The staff here are not very friendly. Don't expect to be greeted on your arrival or departure. The staff seemed very unhappy working at this location. James at the front desk seemed miserable and it showed because he was rude to the guests.

The hotel is in an excellent location, across the street from the Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Ilikai. It is only a few blocks to the Ala Moana Mall. It is also convenient to the beach at the Hilton or the Ala Moana park. There are many restaurants within a stone's throw. We had a car and parking is very convenient - you park your own car and the […] fee is reasonable. When you arrive the valet and bellhops are very helpful. They have two computers in the lobby and a printer which guests can use for free. They have a decent size pool with many lounge chairs. The rooms are very adequate for 2 people; our room included a small refrig, and a small microwave. We have stayed there several times - for the price it is well worth it. Les mer

The Ramada exceeded all our expectations. Knowing that it was a "budget" hotel, we didn't really think that we would enjoy it as much as we did. We had 4 people in the one room and never felt like we were cramped in. We were only ever in our room to sleep, shower and drop off any of our shopping. Location brilliant. Walked to the beach & Ala Moana shopping […] center which is a big plus for all shopaholics. Bus stop right out the front, which we caught quite easily and lots of places to eat, all within walking distance. Don't spend heaps of money on the accommodation. Save it for the fabulous shopping. "Friendly hotel staff, good location"
This was my first time staying on this side of Waikiki, and I was glad to be away from the hustle and bustle. It was close enough to the main strip, but I was happy to be away from the crowds. After we checked out, I realized I left some belongings in our room, and the housekeeping […] staff was kind enough to store it in a safe place. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel from Jan 18-21, 2011. The staff at the reception were very helpful. I loved the king-sized bed with really comfy pillows. The room was clean. Located on the quiet side of Waikiki, it is a short walk to the beach, Fort Derussy Beach Park, and Ala Moana Center. I have a few issues though; the hotel room still has wired […] internet, there is no microwave in the room, and no balcony (you will have to pay extra to get the room with microwave and balcony). Also, for some reasons the housekeeping staff seemed to be congregating everywhere...don't know if this is good or bad. I would stay again at this hotel. Les mer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Plaza Waikiki. The hotel and the neighborhood had everything you could possibly want or need for a fullfilling vacation. Room was ok with a desk to do my work at and wifi included. Only strange thing was the lack of a closet in the room and nowhere to hang my clothes.

Overall this hotel was nice. The building itself is a bit old so they have that working against them. But it's clear they've done what they can for updates. They could benefit from new paint and carpet. But they've updated the fixtures, TV's, linens, etc. in the room. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. There was a $9 shuttle to the airport available which was very convenient. Not as close as some hotels to the beach but that is reflected in the price. Its about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your speed. The couple of minor things I was annoyed with were the pillows-for the most part they were foam wedges. Services are okay, but only one restaurants and one shop inside. Room was clean and well maintainacded, but noise and air from outside came in because there were some spaces between windows. Far from Waikiki beach. You need the bus, trolly, or taxi.

We booked this hotel for one night only as we were going on a cruise the next day. It was clean and comfortable and well presented although a good walk from the sights and shops of Waikiki. We found a good greek restaurant just across the road for dinner . When we went to have breakfast, at the little restaurant attached to the hotel, we were late by […] about 5 minutes, they then closed up to prepare for lunch! I was there eight days and was quite surprised. The Hotel was clean and neat. The staff was very curteous and helpful.The coffee in the lobby in the morning was awesome. We booked this hotel for our one night stay before a cruise. It was located right across the street from very high priced Waikiki beach hotels. Great shopping, plenty of restaurants, and beach within easy walking distance. The staff were very helpful as well. I would absolutely stay here again!

The service is great and the price matches the appearance of the suite. The location is very convenient, several blocks away from the main city mall and beaches. Staff almost invisible and the room is clean. Old age of the hotel is compensated by the good maintenance. The only problem is no fan in the bath room everything else is OK. Recommend.

I stayed one day with the hope of extending the stay, but disappointed with their service and got out of the hotel just after one night. The customer service was trying toprovide me bad view of the neighboring hotels, but in fact they are better than Ramada Plaza. Many promises, but nothing available in the hotels. The hotel was ok. It had gone under several name changes so if you were taking any shuttles be specific and say the ramada plaza. Also some of the drivers drove past it or couldn't find it. 2 of the staff members were very helpful. One was James and the other was Beau. Because the tv wasn't working (ok so I sleep with it on) they upgraded me. I didn't […] even ask for a upgrade. The hotel was a couple of blocks away from the beach but that was ok with me because I went island hoping and spent little time at the hotel and the beach. Les mer
We waited till last minute to book a hotel. We choose the Ramada because it was the only one not outrageous on price. It was a wonderful suprise. It was within walking distance to Waikiki beach. It took us about 15 minutes to get there. It is also right across the street from the Hilton and there is a wonderful beach behind it. Just an fyi all beaches […] in Hawaii are public so it is ok to use this beach and not feel like you are impossing. This beach is also a lot less crowded. The hotel was great and the beds wonderful. We were on the 15th floor and overlooked the pool. The kids swam in the pool and most of the time had it to themselves. There is internet hook up in your room. They also have two computers in the lobby at no additional cost. We took a tax to the hotel from the airport which ran us $35 with tip. With 4 of us it was cheaper then the shuttle. The staff was friendly and helpful. We never tried the chinese restaurant because we never saw anyone in there and therefore didn't want to take the chance. It was a 15 minute walk to the mall which has a very large food court and a hilo hattie if you are looking for souviners. This hotel also offers a full bath unlike many of the hotels in waikiki, which comes in nice if you have children. There is also car rental places right around the corner if you just want a car for one day to drive around the island. There is a daily fee to park the car at the hotel if you have one. But that is pretty common for any hotel here. For a last minute hotel it was better then expected and we would stay here again. Les mer

Great beds. I would stay here again for sure. One issue; My room had a new AC unit. It could not keep the room below 75F even though the unit temp stated it was at 55F. The manufacturer of the AC unit needs to work on their design.

My family and I went to Hawaii and stayed in Ramada Plaza Waikiki, and one night my family had an overnight chatting, my brother who was playing with the remote control, and when we checked out, the hotel charge us over 7 dollors for the GAME....but we didn't play it, just play the remote control...and my brother didn't know that one means "if you touch […] the remote, you need to pay"...this is a unpleasent experience.
