An excellent location for a one-night stay if you are flying from Don Muang. Just a three minute walk from the reception to the terminal. Big but outdated rooms. Cheap. Would not stay here for longer stays in Bangkok, it is too far from the city center.

We could not have been happier with our stay here. We got off our plane, went to the 2nd floor, walked across an enclosed bridge and checked into the hotel. Our room was large and spacious, king size bed. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Nice bathroom, mini bar, safe, black out curtains, robes, you name it. For convenience and price this hotel can […] not be beat. We walked across and down the street for local Thai food. There is also a 7-11 where you can pick up water and other things, with vendors out front if you want to indulge in some local cuisine. Exceptional hotel and priced around $40.00. The hotel is joined to Don Muang airport by a covered walkway and is just a short stroll to the check-in desks. Food in the restaurant was fine and well presented. My only real criticism is the cost of wifi which was excessive in my opinion. I will be happy to use again

Very easy stay and easy walk across enclosed bridge to airport. Arrived too late for restaurant dinner so ordered room service, which was quick and decent.

Overall, it's location is extremely convenient for Don Muang airport as it's literally 5 - 10 minutes walk. Also, it's a taxi drive to the nearest Central Plaza shopping mall where you have a cinema, lots of restaurants and of course shops and shops. Nearby is also an IT Plaza. Ideally convenient for travellers stopping over for a connection flight. […] The hotel itself has got a grill restaurant as well as a Thai food coffee shop. We were very disappointed in the service aspect of this hotel. The hotel was lovely and so was our room, but it was marred by the lack of service and the feeling that we were intruding rather than being guests.

We booked the Deluxe suite for 3 persons Pros: - God size room, top floors - can use the "Executive lounge" section in breakfast, fresh squeezed juice. - walk over the airport. Good to check in to plane, then come back to enjoy breakfast #though disappointing#. Cons: - Food is really so-so, don't want to eat any of them. The Amari is connected to the airport by a crosswalk on the 2nd floor of the airport. Maybe 3 minutes walk. Definitely no need to pay the 200 THB fee for airport pickup! There was no internet of any sort in the room. The desk said it had recently been discontinued. Wifi available in lobby only. This airport is approximately 45 minutes from the newer […] international airport, so leave plenty of time if you are transferring. Taxi cost about 400 THB. Nice hotel but let down very badley by the surly staff . Used this two day stopover due to an early flight from Don Muang airport that was too far from Bangkok. High stanard but very poor service, no hotwater for the whole stay! After repeated complants still cold. Nice guy in the looby tol us that the water temp is kept low to limit use, dont they […] realise that you run the taps for an hour hoping that it will warm up! If you do have time take the train into Bangkok, takes about 1 hour and you sit in class 3 on yellow wooden benches. You can even sit on the steps for a real fun ride, only 20 baht. Got there at midnight, staff were rather grumpy, our floor was under some pretty intense renovation. Air conditioner sounded like it was steam powered. if it wasn't for the location i wouldn't stay here again.

The location cannot be more convenient and awesome - just a short walk to Don Mueng Airport. The room is very comfortable and clean - service was great overall. I booked this as part of a group booking (38 students) - the only thing is that some rooms did not receive their morning call.

Our room was dirty and in disrepair, stray hairs and nail clippings from previous guests popped up in random places. I plugged my computer in, and the circuit breaker blew. They had to send up three repairmen to fix it - and it turns out the circuit breaker is above the shower... Brilliant design. The only saving grace is the walkway to the airport […] terminal. Huge rooms, very clean. Had a problem with water not draining in shower and someone came straight away to sort it out. Slight wait to check in but nothing too bad. Definitely recommend if you need to be near the airport for an early flight.

Location was great but very overpriced for a hotel like this in Thailand. The staff behind the front desk were rude and in no hurry to serve you. Apparently it is ok to push in and go to the front of the cue if you felt like it. The staff did nothing to tell people to wait their turn. I would not stay here again. Very disappointed.

Excellent hotel five minutes from the Airport. Much better than expected at a very reasonable price. We even had an excellent meal there! Only complaint - as with every Airport Hotel it seems - is that checkout takes ages and they seem to forget you might have a flight to catch. but if you allow 10 minutes for checkout it's fine.

Amari was very clean and the rooms were huge! The front desk staff was a bit slow both checking in and checking out, however you can walk to the Don Muang Airport. There is a skywalk connecting the hotel and the airport.

We arrived late on a flight and this hotel is in the ideal location for late arrivals or early morning departures. It is connected to the airport with an overpass so you can walk right over. Hotel was ok, but not the most appealing. The corridors were quite smelly and the rooms didn't have free wifi. The restaurant was quite expensive, however, the location for an early morning flight from DMK airport is unbeatable, so I would stay again if I have an early morningflight. Pros: super convenient to airport, big room, nice bathroom. Cons: Slow check-in, no Internet in room, elevator they sent me to was ridiculously far from front desk (there's two, one is closer for some rooms), most outlets in room didn't work, no in-room safe.

stayed here for overnight transits to Burma and back. On both occasions the check in service was a fiasco, poorly staffed and very time consuming, not to mention them losing my reservation and charging me for the night only to refund it the next morning. If you are traveling through Don Muang Airport on Air Asia or NOK airlines, this is a fantastic option for you; especially those early morning flights. It's obviously seen its heyday come and go, but the walkway to the terminal is super convenient. I'd rate it as a high 3 star hotel in the US but with better service than you would expect from the staff. We only staid overnight between 2 flights. We were in the older part which is not ideal. One elevator (old), older room, was travelling with my brother and wanted 2 single beds, we first got a king and had to move. We then got 2 single but right next to each other. Jolly good. Nice clean hotel. I was overcharged by a factor of the 3 in Henry j beans so I'd avoid that restaurant. The other is very good though. It is literally joined to Don muang so it's a short hop across a causeway and boom, reception is next to the nice lady's waiting to massage your miseries away.had a splendid time.

A friend and I stayed here after flying into Don Muang late one night prior to transferring to the other airport in the morning (theres a free shuttle if you also need to do the switch!). I loved that we were able to walk from the airport into the hotel without having to mess with a taxi. We were just here for one night only, and had an early flight the next morning. Overall, good experience with this hotel. Restaurants were decent. Only gripe was that WiFi was only available in the lobby. No WiFi/Internet in the rooms. Easy access to Don Muang Airport, as you just need to walk over the overpass.

We flew from don muang the following morning so hotel was perfect for us. Rooms were very clean but our view wasn't great. Very little else around except hotel and food in the Asian restaurant is very average.

Perfect for a one night stay and super convenent when catching an early flight from Don Mueong airport. As our deal did not include breakfast , we decided to go ahead and have the breakfast buffet without inquiring about the price ....it ended up being quite expensive for Thailand .

I used this hotel due to its extreme closeness to Don Muang Airport, and the fact i had a very early flight. I was very pleased with the room, service and overall hotel experience, with the exception of the wifi coverage, which was disappointingly limited. Overall happy to recommend this for all people who want a good hotel close to the airport.

Hotel is currently under renovation, hence the rooms is are spacious modern but the room I got has a strong new carpet smell which made me uncomfortable all night, hotel restaurant are so expensive with no one dining! Amari Don Mueang's location is as convenient as it can get after landing at the DMK airport. The hotel was excellent although the staff was a bit slow in completing our check-in formalities.
