- Hotellet har fin standard, men man må være forberedt på at rommene er knøttsmå. -Beliggenheten er veldig sentral. -Ikke bry deg om å spise frokost på hotellet. Den var dyr og hadde lite utvalg. Det er masse frokoststeder i Paris.

We stayed in the 5th floor. Showers where terrible, bad pressure and impossible to get a stable temperature, so it cycled between hot and cold. We complained to the reception twice, but nothing happened. Also they didn't inform us that we could buy breakfast for the hole stay at a discountet price when we checked in, so we had to pay €29 pr person for […] a mediocre breakfast. The location is superb, close to everything. But this isn't more than a 4 star hotel...at most. Les mer
"Flott hotell ved Louvre"
Hadde et kjempefint opphold på en klassisk hotell. Utmerket service. Frokost var ikke inkludert og var veldig kostbar på hotellet. Derfor spiste vi frokost på cafene rundt hotellet. det gikk veldig bra. Kan anbefales!

"Kvalitetshotell"
Hadde et meget behagelig opphold. Hyggelig og profesjonelt serviceapparat av høy kvalitet. Flott rom (juniorsuite), eneste minus var noe støy fra AC anlegg.

"A very good hotel"
A very good hotel, excellent location and a wonderful staff. The location is unbeatable considering the proximity to the Louvre and the nearby shopping streets.
This hotel was perfect for our second trip to Paris. Perfectly located. We walked or took the nearby Metro everywhere. Beautiful acomodations and a very helpful staff.

"Excellent stay"
The staff was terrific, warm, friendly and helpful. We do recommend the deal on the breakfast buffet, pay for your stay at check in for a nice discount, everything in the buffet was awesome except the eggs which were unrecognizable as actual eggs and horrible, but everything else was great, still well worth it. Free WiFi was marginal, it kept dropping […] out and I though the cost to use the business center as exorbitant as was the costs for the mini-bar items. But that is all minor, The location could not be better, 2 minutes to the Louvre, 10 minutes walk to Notre Dame or Galleria Lafayette. Le Open Tour bus stops across the street. The Metro stops right behind the back. Can't beat for convenience, comfort and service and Hotels.com got me a great price on a great room. All in all the place was fantastic Les mer
"Perfect Location in Paris"
The location simplyb could not be better! The hotel staff were exceedingly helpful and considerate. The room was very nice, a bit small by American standards, but really great for Paris. It was very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The bar and restaurant are pretty pricey - just stroll around the neighborhood for cafes and bistros.

Returned a couple days ago from lovely trip including 4 nights at this lovely and charming hotel with incredible location - literally across the street from the Louvre Museum! Service, cleanliness also wonderful. The historical old feel of the hotel combined with modern convenience really leant itself to a great visit. Even my husband who in general […] hates hotels (travels for work too much) approved of this one. We can't wait to go back to Paris and stay here again!!! Les mer

"Hotel du Louvre in Paris"
I stayed here over the weekend and I had a fantastic time. Both the hotel itself and its staff were great. The location was ideal and within easy reach of most of the beautiful sites that Paris has to offer. I would definitely stay here again either with family or as a romantic getaway as the hotel caters for all.

The hotel was close to the Louvre. The lobby and entrance were impressive. The room was a little small and the furniture were worn down. In American standards, it would be a 3.5 star hotel.

Nice old hotel in a great location. Right next to the Lourve and the Seine River. Hotel offers 40% off cocktails in their bar which is good because the prices are incredibly high. The hotel is older and the rooms are small but the location makes up for the size. Just walk out the front door and get to the many sites in Paris easily. When you are at […] that location there is no reason to stay in your room anyway. Highly recommend the Auto Bus hop on-hop off boat taxi. "Highly recommend this hotel"
We stayed in a nice, large junior suite with our young daughter. The hotel is centrally located which allowed us to walk to many major sights. The metro stop and 2 "hop on-hop off" bus stops are right near the hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The staff were extremely helpful. The Louvre is across the road and a metro station at the door. Loved the bar for a pre-dinner drink. Enjoyed dinner in the Brasserie. Reminded me of the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne.

Walking distance to major museums, banks of Seine, Latin quarter etc. This was the best part for us. E.g., we could come back to the hotel to refresh after a session in the Louvre and then go out again in the evening. Bathrooms were large (suprisingly) and clean, even luxurious. Staff was very polite and understood enough English so that we did not […] face a language problem. A negative was that we were not able to get into our room until past 3 pm. The staff at the reception and the concierge are very friendly and helpful. The concierge even went out across the street in the rain to get us taxi.
Wonderful hotel with a small but clean room and very large bathroom. beds were very comfortable and the room exquitely clean. The staff was very friendly and everyone spoke English which helped me and my daughter alot since we only spoke a few French phrases. The location is AWESOME. Very central and convenient to everything. We walked to all the sites […] since they were close to the hotel but there is also a metro stop 2 blocks away for those who don't want to walk. Literally steps from the Metro in the heart of Paris, the Hotel du Louvre offered a great room at a fair price. Our room was quiet with an unique double-door between us and the hallway. The bathroom was spacious in our superior room. Check-in and out was easy. We would definitely return to this property.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive and everything was clean and very wel appointed. The room was a "junior suite" with only one unusual attribute that the toilet is in a separate room with no sink, so to wash hands, you needed to exit and go to the shower bathroom. The location is great, only perhaps a hundred […] yards from the Louvre Garden. We ate our last dinner in Paris at this restaurant and they provided a very nice meal with good service. Les mer

The team here are all very well trained and enthusiastic - for instance the female concierge ran across three lanes of busy traffic to secure a taxi for us, which is completely unprecedented in Paris in my experience. "The DeLouvre in Paris, a block from the Louvre"
The room was elegant but small. The location is great--centerally located. Room rates were pretty high, and the bar and restaurant brutal. Nor would you want to use the mini-bar! Paris is astonishingly expensive anyway, but especially in this part of town. The bed was comfortable but way too hot until we got the coverlet changed to a sheet and blanket. […] Half the light bulbs in the bathroom were out and the AC didn't cool very much, but other than that, the room was nice. The hotel staff was excellent, with the exception of waiters. The location is great for walking to many of the major attractions including the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, river Seine and Eiffel Tower. Les mer

Great location! Walking distance for many major sites. Taxi stand across the street and the Metro station across the street in the other direction. Remy, one of the Concierges there is awesome. Trust this man's recommendation on restaurants. I gave him the name of two restaurants that had so-so reviews but were very close. He knew them both and said […] that there was a better place and booked us reservations for that night and it was excellent. The room had a musty scent that never went away but other wise the Hotel is fine. The breakfast add-on is 22.00 Euro a person. It's cheaper to go out. The restaurant connected to the Hotel is just okay. We ate there one night and it was the weakest meat of the trip. Many more great places around. Ask Remy. Les mer

"Outstanding hotel"
Across the road from the Louvre, surrounded by cafes, bars and within a close walk of lafayette, opera and above the metro line. The staff were fantastic - welcoming and helpful. The hotel was so nice that when we arrived at the metro station and walked to the front door, i had to check the address to make sure we were in the right place, it was beautiful. […] We didn't have breakfast included and it was a little pricey but there were countless bars in the surrounding blocks so we always found somewhere to eat. We were on the 3rd floor and had a view over the square. So we sipped onchampagne and watched parisians from or little balcony. Les mer

Be wary of extra charges on your bill on departure. They charged us for use of the minibar which we had not used but they did correct the charge. Also a service fee added to tickets to attractions you may wish to buy a head of time and spend less time in the queues Good location. Easy to get to all sites you would like to see. "Great hotel in a great location"
My husband stayed here for a few nights while in Paris on our way to a wedding in the south of France and couldn't have been happier with our choice! It was because of all the great reviews of this hotel that we decided to book, and we were pleased with the location of the hotel in relation to sightseeing attractions, restaurants nearby, etc. We ate […] at restaurants that the concierge recommended, and were very happy with all of those recommendations. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and the hotel room was clean and comfy (small bed room by US standards, but you are in Europe!) We did have an actual king bed, not one made by pushing two twin beds together, which was nice. The bathroom was a lot larger than I am used to seeing in European hotels. Overall- great hotel that we would definitely stay at again in the future! Les mer
"Excellent Hotel"
We spent four days here and really loved it. The room was great, and the staff and Concierge went out of their way to help us have a great stay. The Concierge was able to get us tickets to the Moulin Rouge, which we were not able to do before we left home. The neighborhood was safe and fun, and the Metro was right there. "Great staff, location and room"
This hotel has a great location and a super staff. My daughter got sick and needed a doctor 2 days into our stay. The hotel concierge found an English speaking doctor and he was at the hotel within an hour. The only down side was the Junior suite had a separate room for the toilet not connected to the bathroom. It was a bit strange.
"What's Not To Love?!"
We stayed a week for our 10th anniversary. Upon arrival at 9:00am, they checked us into a lovely junior suite. I expressed disappointment that our view was of the inner "courtyard", and we asked if they had a room with a view. We went out exploring and when we returned that afternoon, we had been moved into another beautiful suite with a wonderful view […] of the Comedie Francaise. We loved everything about the room and the staff. The location is fantastic! We walked everywhere! There are so many cafes & restaurants in the area. We walked to nearly every meal and never ate at the same place twice. We would definitely stay at the Hotel du Louvre again! Les mer
