Internazionale Hotel - Bologna

Fantastic hotel for that price!

Hotell Internazionale er et flott og svært sentralt hotell i Bologna. Rommet var ekslusivt og påkostet med tøytapet på veggene, som også virket lyddempende. Vi hadde rom mot et atrium, så vi hørte ikke noen trafikkstøy. Hotellresepsjonen gangene var i romersk stil. Ellers var hester og hesteutstyr et gjennomgående tema på kunst og malerier. På rommet var Flott og stort bad med to vasker og et stort badekar. Rommet var også stort, med god plass til en ekstra seng til vår sønn på 3 år. Godt utvalg av mat til frokost, som var inludert. Alt virket som det skulle. Eneste lille minus er at man måtte betale for internettilgang.

Vi reiste med vår baby på 9 måneder. Det gikk veldig fint. Stort fint rom med stort bad med marmorfliser. Svært hyggelige og imøtekommende personer som jobbet der. På rommet var det helt stille - tom. når vi hadde vinduet åpent. I gaten som inngangen var så var det ganske mye støy, men det kunne vi ikke merke i det hele tatt når vi var inne. Fin og god frokost. Gangavstand til alt vi hadde behov for.

Very nice hotel. Location was perfect between Bologna train station and main city sites. Had good recommendation for dinner (il Portico), and went there again for lunch. (It was our best meal in Italy). Room and bath were spacious. Hotel staff very accommodating. Would stay there again next time we are in Bologna.

Comfortable bed, clean and convenient to local sightseeing and railway. Friendly staff and a good selection for breakfast. Whilst it is on the main street the sound-proofing worked perfectly and noise was not a problem. We would be quite happy to come back here to this hotel.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Internazionale. Although the hotel is older and the decorations could use some updating, the service was fantastic, and our room and bathroom were the largest that we found in our entire visit to Europe. The breakfast was also our favorite out of all of the ones we tried. The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk from the Piazza Maggiore, as well as about 8 minutes from the train station. We used Bologna as our "hub" while visiting central Italy, so the proximity to the train station was definitely a plus! There are several good restaurants nearby, as well as lots of shopping. One of the staff recommended the nearby Ristorante Donatello to us, and it was delicious. Don't expect anything super modern and updated, but as far as service and comfort goes, for the price, this hotel can't be beat.

It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. There was a breakfast every morning which was very nice.

We booked this hotel at the last second and didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. Located on the main, downtown street that contains lots of shops, restaurants, etc, our room was nevertheless fairly quiet. A clean, comfortable room with a good working air conditioner gave us what we needed. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the hotel staff, but they seemed pleasant enough. The breakfast was well staffed and supplied. The hotel is within a 5-10 minute walk of Bologna's central train station.

The hotel is easy to find, with easy short term parking outside to get your bags out, and check in. The hotel has an underground car park you can use later for 20 euros a day. Well positioned, just 5 minute walk from the very centre of town, the hotel was clean, well appointed, some could even say "up market".. for such a small place. Our room keycard would only work for one entry, and then would require a trip down to reception to have it reprogrammed.. inconvenient, made worse by a moody receptionist thinking you were just doing it to ruin their day. We had paid for breakfast, but at checkin this wasn't confirmed, and we weren't told where it was, or at what time. The breakfast was adequate, but by no means sumptuous. If you booked would I suggest you cancel ? No. It's not that bad. But would I go back ? No.

A Well Situated Hotel In The Centre, High Standard Of Room, For A Very Reasonable Price.

Large, clean hotel a good 5 minute walk from main train station, in a fairly safe city. Great location on main street in town. Good staff. Pay-per-hour wifi, no free internet. No known cheap internet around (no Starbucks or internet cafe in sight). Hotel worker said there is free wifi on occassion that you can "borrow" if you find it. We were given a very large room with 2 twin beds, and a 3rd fold out. Beds were comfy, and pillows were firm and good size, not like others in Europe. Large bathroom with toiletries and shower/tub, bidey. In-room safe. Pay minibar, good AC, heating, desk, a few 220V outlets, large flat TV with ~35 channels, mostly Italian, but NO English channels. Free buffet breakfast is very good with cereals, breads, pastries, spreads, some preserves, deli meats, cheeses, yogurts, boiled & scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon, various coffees & teas & juices. Nice hotel and great value in Bologna.

We stayed at the Hotel Internazionale in Bologna for 2 very hot nights in July. The location is great and an easy walk from the station if you are arriving by train. The room was lovely, the bed big & very comfortable. We even had a little sofa. The bathroom was huge. The public areas were beautifully furnished, in particular the breakfast room. For breakfast there was a huge choice of bread, pastries (hot or cold), fresh fruit, ham, etc as well as a hot food choice. Unfortunately they have a very old & totally inefficient air-conditioning system which made the room almost unbearably hot and our stay not as comfortable as it should have been. The desk staff seem reluctant to acknowledge any problem with the air-con. Everything else was great so perhaps the hotel should consider some investment in this department.

We found this hotel suited all our needs for a weekend break to Bologna. Its decor is very nice and the whole interior is spotlessly clean. The staff are nice and very welcoming.

the rudest staff-they actually yell at you. Air conditioning didn't work, elevators were out, phones didn't work. Truly a disgusting hotel, avoid like the plague.

My trip to Italy was difficult to say the least. But, every night I was sooooo glad to come "home" to this hotel. They took very good care of me.

I was very pleased with everything at the Internazionale Hotel in Bologna. It is ideally located with access to the center of the city, just blocks from the train station and/or the aerobus to the airport. Very clean, entire hotel/rooms were of a high quality, courteous and helpful staff. I'll stay there again.

A comfortable and well located hotel with most of the in-room facilities you would want. Well located for museums and the town centre and for the best fish restaurant in Bologna - just ask reception. My trolley luggage mechanism got jammed whilst arriving and the hotel handyman spent ages repairing it. Great service from all the hotel staff.

the hotel is a beautiful hotel. It is well maintained and looks practically new. The staff was very helpful and the location is great I would highly recommend thos hotel to anyone.

L'hotel è in un'ottima posizione: vicinissimo alla stazione dei treni e a 5 minuti da piazza maggiroe; le camere sono molto belle, pulite e confortevoli, rifinite lussuosamente e dotate di tutti i confort; la colazione a buffet è abbondante e molto varia e prevede sia il dolce che il salato; personale cordiale e gentile.

service efficace chambres confortables et bien équipée petit déjeuner bon et copieux service efficace : la douche en panne a été réparée très rapidement seule réserve : l hotel donne sur des rues bruyantes ce qui peut être gênant en été

on peu toujours faire mieux, il ne faut s'emdormir sur ces acquis le client en veux toujours plus; j'attend de voir pour le prochain séjour. Bon courage

trop bruyant lors de la réservation l'hotel devrait prevenir que le paeking est payant et donner les tarifs du parking

Godt hotel med central beliggenhed, rene smukke værelser, herlig morgenbuffet, god og venlig betjening

Bijzonder aardige en hulpvaardige mensen aan de balie, goede tips voor restaurants. Prijs/kwaliteit zeer positief. Loopafstand naar centrum met alle bezienswaardigheden.
