Fantastisk at de bringer deg til og fra flyplassen gratis! Ikke nok med det, de utfører samme gratis-service til Mall of America. Hyggelig personale, fine/komfortable rom og gratis wifi bidrar også til at jeg definitivt anbefaler dette hotellet.

Ok hotell og service. Bra standard men kjedelige omgivelser rundt. Kort vei fra flyplassen, Mall of America og Downtown Minneapolis. ca 10-15 min kjøring til alle tre steder. Dette er et sted du bor og ikke noe mer.

Meget bra facilities; i.e. kjøleskap, microbølgeovn, kaffekoker, fri internett tilgang som virket meget bra, fri tilgang til printer og kontorfacilities. Trimrom og stor badewhirlpool. Enkel, men grei frokost. I tillegg var hotelrommet ganske stort. Vi mener dette var et meget bra hotell for oss. Takk

"Bra hotell"
Et bra hotell med god standard. Store rom med gode senger. At Starbucks og Appelbee´s er integrert i hotellet er helt utmerket.

"Difficult to get to due to road repairs"
The hotel needs updating all the way... Bathroom sink was clogged. TV set was old and image was not good. With all the construction work around the hotel, it took me over 40 minutes to arrive...

Location can't be beat if you have a student living on campus at the U of M! Starbuck's in the lobby is super convenient. The rail construction on the surrounding roads was not an issue at all. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. My only complaint was the horrible TV in the room - old, everyone was orange and it was impossible to make out the […] temperature or any words on the screen. Les mer

"Impossible to get to"
The immense amount of construction around the University of Minnesota right now makes it EXTREMELY difficult to get to this hotel, even for someone extremely familiar with the area, as I was.

The location in Stadium Village was perfect! Once the light rail is finished it will be a prime location and will need more good restaurants close by. Very nice. Great location. No breakfast included but places to eat everywhere. Sleep number beds and very friendly staff.

While the hotel rooms themselves are in desperate need of renovation, and the sleep by number beds aren't great, the customer service was wonderful, especially the complimentary shuttle that took us wherever we waned to go within a five mile rapids radius of the hotel. "Excellent for U of M East Bank Visitors"
The hotel met all my expectations but grandly exceeded in terms of service. I was allowed to check in early, the valet service was outstanding, very professional, quick and friendly. Housekeeping service was prompt. The location is two blocks from all East Bank U of M campus locations. Couldn't have been better.

My son and I stayed here (03/23/12) for his university visit to see if THEU was where he wanted to go to college. The hotel is magnificent for convenience of the university. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel will start a complete renovation on 05/01/12. The main thoroughfare (Washington Blvd. SE) is under construction right now for electric […] train and buses only. This will be so much safer for all with no cars allowed. This will be completed late fall 2012 and will be a huge success to the transportation and university. Even though the hotel has not been renovated, everyone was friendly and helpful (You betcha!) I would recommend the stay here for any activity at THEU. Attached to the hotel is an Appleby's and a Starbuck's. The rate is much higher than some surrounding area hotels, but no one can touch the location of where this hotel is. Walk to anywhere within minutes! Les mer
"University Hotel-comfy and clean"
The hotel was great for us. The staff was super friendly. The beds and pillows were definitely the most comfortable ones we have ever had in a hotel. The tv was definitely big and old, but everything else made up for it. I would stay there again. Oh, and good location if you are going to the clinic/hospitals at the University of Minnesota.

If you are working or attending anything at the University of Minnesota, this is definitely the place to stay. Its in the middle of campus and is surround by restaurants. The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. No complaints about this AT ALL. I will be staying here every time I come from now on.

Horrible sleep number bed. Very uncomfortable. Also, can hear noise in hall and people talking. Convenient for University but don't expect a good night's sleep. Very expensive for what we received in return.

It was wonderful to be close to the venue where I needed to be. It was interesting that my room did not have a flat screen TV but I wasn't there that much to watch it anyway. I would stay there again.

The only bad thing is all the construction. This is not a hotel fault but made it difficult. I would stay there again.

This hotel has a great location for visiting the University and downtown with convenient access to the light rail via free shuttle service. The upcoming changes to the property should provide a welcome fresh appearance. Combined with the new light rail access, this could become the place to stay in Minneapolis.

"Great hotel, inconvenient timing!"
This hotel was great... great room, great staff. However, the fire alarm did go off at about 6:30am and didn't go off until maybe 7:15. Wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that when the guests were in the lobby waiting for the staff to finish their sweep, someone said that the same thing happened last time they stayed there too. Really, it's a wonderful […] hotel, and maybe I and that gentleman just have bad luck, but I figured I should let people know. Happy travels! Les mer

Great hotel if your travel brings you to the university. Its away from downtown but hotel shuttle takes you to nearest Light Rail Transit and from there you can go to various attractions including Mall Of America. Arrange for shuttle pick up. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Better if the rates could include breakfast as not many eating places […] nearby. Would recommend this hotel. Thanks. Les mer

"Did not have reserved room type available"
We reserved a room with 2 double beds for my wife and I and our 2 children (ages 15 and 13). When we checked in there was not a room with 2 double beds available. They "upgraded" us to a room with 1 King size bed. I had to repeatedly explain to the gentleman at the front desk that the four of us were not going to all sleep in the same bed. I asked for […] 2 roll-away beds, but they only had one available, so my son had to sleep on the couch (it was not a pull-out). We were given a$20.00 voucher for our trouble to use at the hotel restuarant with no explanation as to the restuarants hours of operation. The next day we went to the hotel restuarant to eat lunch and was then informed that the restuarant was only open in the evening or for breakfast. So.... the $20.00 voucher was useless. Very dissapointed with our 1st and most likely last stay at the University Hotel Minneapolis. Les mer
"University Hotel Minneapolis- VERY thin walls"
Hotel was clean and staff was courteous. Location was perfect. Close to stadiums and restaurants. Walls were so thin I could hear everything around me including conversations. Overall I did like the hotel

nice and clean hotel..comfortable room..nice lobby..pick up and drop to anywhere in 5 mi radius..nice lobby, starbucks in the building..lots of places to eat nearby..costly but worth the location if you have to visit the university..we enjoyed the stay and will recommend this hotel to anyone..they should include complimentary breakfast.

Washington Ave which runs in front of the hotel is currently torn up due to the new light rail system being built underneath it. Don't follow GPS unless you are able to mark Washington Ave as being closed.

Location is great if you are using the U of M Medical Center, it's within walking distance. I stay here at least once a yr as part of an organ transplant study. The only downside to my resent stay was the construction along Washington Ave SE and the confusion with all the detours and one-way streets.

Great location, hotel was nice. But the construction oh the construction. We were one block away and took 35 minutes to finally reach the entrance. GPS was absolutely not help. Some extra correspondence really should go out to all who make reservations

Hotel was nice overall. Shuttle service was less reliable than expected. Room service was not up to the mark. Location far from downtown but very close to campus. Hotel lounge not open for breakfast. Rooms and especially beds were nice and comfortable.

The hotel has good facilities and maintains hygiene. The internet facility is good. I would be more glad if the hotel had provided breakfast within the overall package. It becomes more convenient that ways for people new to that area.

I was attending a conference downtown, and stayed at the University Hotel because the cost was so much more reasonable than downtown hotels. I had stayed there years before when it was under the Radisson brand, and was quite satisfied. Downtown is a $10-$13 cab ride, and the hotel offers free shuttles. The University hotel is looking a little dated […] around the edges. The old tube-style televisions are fuzzy, the heating/cooling unit a bit noisy, the carpeting a bit worn. It needs an update. But the service is very good. Front desk friendly and efficient, rooms kept neat and clean. It's a campus town environment, so lots of low cost places to eat right outside the hotel. Right now there is road construction immediately in front of the hotel. It's not crippling, but a bit inconvenient for driving and taxis. Les mer
