Location of the Paramount is great - walking distance to some prime shopping and restaurants. The Hotel's DragonFish Restaurant is one of the best in Seattle and provides room service. I have stayed here twice and am always please - tho this time was Christmas day and the restaurant was closed. Everything is clean, tidy and comfortable. This time, the […] TV controls were annoyingly difficult to use, the movie selection was slow and not responsive to the controls. Something went downhill here from the last time. Les mer

The hotel staff was a major highlight of my experience. They were extremely accomodating. They allowed us to check in early and check out late without acting like they were doing us a huge favor. The hotel was clean and very tastefully decorated for the holidays. The hotel was in a great location to walk to all the biggest tourist attractions. I was attending meetings at the Washington State conference Center and the hotel was barely one block from that site, an easy walk, and very conveniently located for shopping at excellent stores.
two good things and two bad. good: the front desk help was nice and pleasant. and the valet attendant was awesome, I had forgot something in my car and he let me retrieve it no problem. bad: the guy whom stands by the elevators and front door is horrible. he has the worst attitude and personality ever. not the person to have front and center. I was […] shocked he could even fit the mold for that position. And, the housekeepers were standing out side our door in the morning at 9:30am waiting for us to leave. Stayed at this hotel for 4 days for a conference. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful and the rooms were very clean. I enjoyed my stay here.

"Great location, great hotel"
The Paramount was a great spot to stay! It exceeded my expectations. It's a block away from the convention center, which was super convenient. The rooms were nice and clean, and the hotel restaurant/bar had some great happy hour specials which made it a regular stop in the evenings. I would definitely stay here again, no question.

"Great hotel"
Wonderful location and the room was very comfy and nice. One of the doormen was extraordinarily nice and helpful. He lent us his own personal umbrella when we realized we had forgotten ours. (There was another doorman who was very creepy, so we just avoided him.)
"Victorian Beauty"
My husband and I stayed here for 4 days. It is a charming Victorian hotel, complete with all of the detailed Victorian furnishings. We really liked the location and neighborhood. Restaurants very nearby and bus is 2 blocks away. Very nice service and we suggest breakfast in their restaurant.

When traveling on business to Seattle I often stay at the Paramount. I have stayed here the last five trips and will definetly be back. Night staff: Mike, Lolita, and Richard are awesome, they even remembered my name when I walked in this last trip. That meant a lot. The staff is awesome. Thanks you guys, see you next month.

"Paramount Seattle WA"
The room lacked a good cleaning the location was extremely noisy and the bed was like a mattress at Motel 6 I would defiantly not recommend this hotel to my other business travelers. The hotel restaurant Dragon Fish was very slow serving. Over all not a good experience at this location.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Bed was so comfortable, which isn't always the case where you get what you are told. Front doorman was very friendly in getting us coupons to the adjoining restaurant, or hailing us a cab. It's those little things that make a difference. Needed a hotel for one night in the middle of the city. Location was great, in the center of downtown, neighborhoods easily accessible by foot or or the underground bus/rail system. Shopping, dinning, all nearby. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and modern with enough room for two. Spent most of my time out on the town, so would highly suggest […] this hotel for those who will only use it for sleeping purposes. "The Paramount Hotel - great location"
We enjoyed the Paramount for 8 days. The only drawbacks were that there was only 1 chair in the room and we both had computer work to do. The manner of the lobby staff was fairly aloof - you always felt that you were bothering them. The concierge was overly friendly and not particularly helpful. "Great Hotel, Great Location"
Excellent location for shopping. Close to monorail to get to Space Needle. Hotel room is spacious and clean, great amenities provided.
"Nice place to stay."
The hotel staff was very helpful. The rooms felt clean. The bed was a little lumpy but not too bad. The bell boy was super. They let us store our luggage do to a time gap in our travel plans. The Dragon Fish restaurant connected to this hotel is fabulous. I can't say enough about it. Sit on the patio and people watch. It's entertaining...

"Great location and great price"
This Hotel was great! The pan-Asian restaurant downstairs has amazing happy hour specials and rolls! comfortable rooms, clean, nice bath products and very friendly front desk staff. I'd stay here again!

"Great Location!"
We only stayed one night but my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Room was pretty big and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and furnishings were modern. Most importantly though was how close everything was. It's right in Downtown and everything but the Space Needle is walkable--shopping and restaurants. Pike Place Market […] was 7 blocks away, but it was a nice walk through the Downtown area. It's also really close to Westlake Station (2 blocks), so if you fly in/out and don't want to rent a car, this is a great option--only $2.75 per person each way. The hotel even allowed us to check in early (1:00) which was nice because we had just arrived back in Seattle from our Alaskan cruise (the only negative which is why I'm giving Service 4 stars instead of 5 was the girl at the front desk who offered another couple more options about checking in early--which floor and view they wanted, which was not offered to us...whatever...). The bellman made up for it, who gave us the idea of taking Light Rail to the airport, saving us about $35! Overall, great stay! Les mer

When in town once a month on business I try to stay here. The staff is very accomodating (thanks Mike for the hospitality), the hotel has a nice exercise room, lobby and hosts the Dragonfish restaurant who have specials throughout the week. Will be staying there again on my next trip.

We travel to seattle many times over the summer and have tried many different hotels. The Paramount is our favorite so far. The staff is incredible and always make our stay perfect. The beds are extremely comfortable.

This boutique hotel has a bustling downtown location and is convenient to the sites and shopping and public transport. The beds were comfy and the room was very dark so we got a great night's sleep. Street noise did not disturb us. The concierge directed us to a street crepe shop for breakfast which the whole family enjoyed. We needed a room with two […] queen beds, so this hotel fit the bill. "Paramount Hotel Seattle"
Convenient to theater, convention center, and downtown. Comfortable and well appointed, fast wireless internet. No self park, valet only ($$$). Garbage trucks start outside the hotel at 0400, highly irritating.

Although we have sealed and double-paned windows, occasionally downtown noises can be heard. "The Coast Paramount, Seattle--Walking distance"
Hotel and room were lovely--great location and excelllent value. We'll be back.
We stayed here for 3 nights and have nothing to complain about. The location was great - we parked the car for the entire time and had close access to all the sights. The room was clean and well-maintained and the staff was friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there in the future.

"Very nice mid-range hotel in the heart of Seattle"
My wife and I stayed five nights at the hotel while I attended a conference. The hotel is very conveniently located, the rooms are clean and modern, and the staff was friendly.

at the Hyatt which was too pricey. the Paramount was directly across the street and less expensive. staff couldn't be more helpful. room lovely. would have been nice if there were 2 sinks but was fine. had great bathrobes to use. flat screened TV. also great resturant in the hotel (avail for all three meals even though Asian themed). parking was $27 […] per night not including significant fees but I guess it's like that all over the city and more expensive for hotels on the waterfront. within walking distance of great resturants, shopping, Pikes Market and the monorail to the space needle, the Paramount theater where we saw Mary Poppins was right down the street. would stay there again.
