There were a number of things overlooked; dirty counter/desk tops, broken ironing board, loose hooks and handles, doors off of tracks.

Several hairs in and around the tub showed it had not been cleaned. We were given another room, but I had doubts whether that tub had been cleaned. I saw one hair in it and the lever for the shower was left pulled up. When I clean a tub, I make sure that lever is down before I start cleaning. I would never stay there again. Friendly and accommodating. I only stayed one night after a long day of driving, and they didn't have a problem securing me a last minute room. I don't know the area very well, but there was a lot around it; lots of shops and restaurants. Plus it's only about 10 minutes from Arrowhead and Kauffman stadiums.

Undergoing renovation - dust and little bits of debris throughout the hallway. 'Hot' breakfast very limited. Very noisy late night at my end of the hallway - dorrs slamming, people yelling and running down the hall and stairs.

If you aren't looking for anything fancy then I would recommend this hotel. It's your basic hotel. The room was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. We got in later in the evening and didn't want to go back out for dinner so we ordered pizza that was delivered right to our room. Check in was smooth. The room was clean. The room phone did not work our entire stay. The TV kept going off and on. Both problems were reported to front desk and nothing was done. Bathroom tiny. We had a microwave and no refrigerator even tho there was a place for one. Mattress too soft. Breakfast items were cold. Cold eggs are not good. Pool small. […] There are signs all over motel stating new room design/furniture is coming soon. We have been staying at this same motel for 10+ years and it is going down hill fast. Great location. Close to dining shopping and Truman Museum. Continental breakfast better than most as it included bacon, sausage and biscuits. Pleasant employees. There was not a refrigerator or microwave in the room - probably due to the remodel going on. Having two sinks in the bathroom was a plus.

It does need some work done but they are in the process of renovations so it's understandable. The staff was very pleasant and I enjoyed my stay.

This was the dirtiest, most run down hotel I have ever stayed at. There were cigarette burns in the bedspread (and it was supposedly a smoke free room). The smoke detector was missing and wires were hanging from the ceiling where it was supposed to be. Definitely not impressed and won't be staying there again while in town for business.

I did not find the bed comfortable. The mattress was not good and the bathtub was chipped; however, someone had repaired the bathtub somewhat. Every thing worked fine. Food was good and adequate.

The owners & day staff made this hotel a pleasant experience. They reopened breakfast late for us when we had misremembered the closing time. it was disgusting. We found hair (not the kind from your head) in our ice bucket, soap scum in the bath tub, no toilet paper in the room. I could go on and on. We ended up getting a full refund.

I particularly chose this hotel because of the indoor pool and the breakfast.... both were really bad. However, I slept well on one of the queen beds. This really surprised my son who knows I am like " the Princess and the Pea" when it comes to beds! Both the night and morning desk clerks were extremely helpful. I did alert the night clerk after going […] to the room that we were not the ones who put the potato chips into the a/c vent, nor ripped the corner of the sheet :) Overall, we had little extra travel money and needed to be in KC early, so we both agree this was a good choice arriving late after an exhausting day. Our impression of the property is, that like most of us, the owners have suffered with the downturn in the economy and have not been able to do as much upkeep as they and the customers might like. I was a bit surprised by the 3 star rating and wonder if the more expensive 2 star places closer to KC would be awful by comparison.... Les mer

I stayed here for 1 week while my daughter was in a nearby hospital as it is conveniently located between the hospital and their home. The staff were friendly and attentive, my room was cleaned every day and I was most comfortable. Rooms near the front of the hotel are a little noisy with Interstate traffic, but towards the rear of the hotel are much […] quieter. Hotel advertises free high speed wireless internet. Internet did not work well at all. Would connect for a few seconds then spend 20 minutes trying to reconnect. I fianlly gave up on it.

room had small chair that had stains all over it. Bed had 4 pillows that where very very small for a king size bed. Caulking around tub and sink had not be smothed out.

We enjoyed our stay and do not have any complaints. Though it is not a new hotel, it is well cared for. THE BEST THING ABOUT IT WAS THE PEACE AND QUIET. There were no big crowds at breakfast or in the pool and the hallways were quiet. There are several good restaurants close by and a good gas/ convienience store. We would stay there again.

I stay at Quality Inn, Blue Springs almost every month on work visits. I was impressed from my first visit with the cozy B'fast area, the cleanliness of the room, and with above expected furnishings, including a comfortable bed. It is a very good value hotel. I have only two gripes: the location, it is kind of awkward to get into, and location by highway, […] so may notice traffic noise depending. The other is at check in, every month they ask to make a copy of my id. If you do not plan frequenting, probably not an issue to you. Les mer

This hotel needs to be cleaned. - not just a quick ru the vacuum. There is so much dirt around the baseboards and in all the corners. It also needs the maintenance dept to fix the textured ceiling in the bathroom of the room I was in. The employee in the breakfast area was a real grouch. Skip this one. You can get a better room for this price!

This motel was good for what we needed; a place to sleep. We visited friends and spent all day with them. We used the motel only to sleep and to have our breakfast since it was included in the price. If you are looking for entertainment and things to do at the motel you will be disappointed. The pool is very small. Toilet leaked, tub leaked water, tiles in bathroom cracked, dead bugs on the floor in the lobby, room number on phone said 112, we were in room 306...way too much chlorine in pool, pool had a ring around it, back parking lot had HUGE holes in it with rebar visible. This pool had an indoor pool, which is a big plus for my family. They served a nice breakfast for 3 hours. The room was nice and comfortable. They have free internet service. The only thing that I would say was not so good would be the parking lot. It had big holes and needed to be fixed.

We were pleased that there were no snags with our reservation. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, the room was clean and comfortable. Our only complaints were that the air conditioning didn't work very well and was noisy, there were guests who were very loud late at night and we could hear a crying baby throughout most of the night (the walls […] were apparently very thin).
