Hadde et veldig trivelig opphold. Generelt godt fornøyd med hotellet som hadde et flott badeannlegg. Også positivt at det gikk gratis buss til The Strip hver halvtime. Turen tok kun 15 min. På den negativ side må det sies at det ikke var rengjøring eller bytte av håndklær hver dag som på vanlige hotell (1g på 7 dg), men man kunne ringe og få rene håndklær i løpet av dagen. I tillegg var det stusselig hvis man var uheldig og trakk det korteste strået og måtte ligge på sovesofaen. Den var ikke god å ligge på, og ødela veldig mye på helhetsinntrykket av et ellers supert hotell. Gjør også oppmerksom på et ekstra gebyr pr dag som kommer i tillegg til alt annet.

Opplysninger om hotellet stemmer men avgifter kommer i tillegg. Kjøleskap koster 1 USD pr døgn og internett koster 5,99 USD pr 24 timer. Pluss vanlig kytume med drinks.

Hotellet i seg selv var flott. Det er rent og ser forholdsvis nytt ut. Det ligger ikke helt ideelt til hvis man skal henge på The Strip, men er billig. De har en resort fee på 15 dollar, men internett er gratis (mange av hotellene uten resort fee charger 15 dollar for internett...). Resepsjonen var litt vel godt skjult - man må et godt stykke inn i hotellet før du kommer dit.

I love Boyd properties. Clean, well managed with great buffet food. The Gold Coast is along those same lines but I stayed in a two room sweet on the 10th floor, and I thought I was back in the 50's. You can't beat this hotel for the price! Rooms were rehabed in the past couple of years so they are very adequate. The buffet is wonderful. Great food and lots of choices. You can get a free "Get Connected" card and save $1.00 every time you eat. Plus there are gambling incentives with the card. Overall we would stay here again.
"Nice place overall with one wrinkle"
The Gold Coast is my go-to when in Vegas for many reasons: price, location, restaurants, nice employees. The clientele is decidedly older, which to me is a good thing. People are down to earth and friendlier, like the old days in Vegas. The Strip is overrun with the d-bag crowd and seems to skip over the Gold Coast -- a plus in my book. Parking, check-in […] easy. Rooms are clean and more than adequate. Maids are very efficient and helpful. The TV remote and a couple of lights did not work. The casino is large enough without being cavernous, the Chinese restaurants are top notch, and coffee and ice cream shops, 70 lane bowling alley, nice to have on site. In short, the Gold Coast has everything I need in a manageable space. The only wrinkle came when checking out. Twice I had to correct the desk clerk about deducting a restaurant charge from the 15.00 night dining credit promotion that had been going on for two months. The charges still weren't right so I called billing directly and a pleasant woman immediately recognized the error and fixed it. I will continue to go back to Gold Coast, as I find it hits the right mark for me when visiting Vegas. Les mer

I used to stayed at Gold Coast long time age (10yrs) and always had a great experience. Alot has changed! The rooms are small. Sliding bathroom door does not lock. Showers only, no tubs. There was no toilet paper when we arrived after waiting 1 hr, they gave us a box of tissue. Took another 30 mins for toilet paper. Ohterwise comfy. Had a good night […] sleep. Location is great for the money. Extra charge fees are only a fraction of what nearby hotels charge. Les mer

Clean hotel, not a strong smoky casino like old hotels in Vegas. The room was clean and updated, the bathroom was clean, the tub surround could use updating, but it wasn't gross looking. I felt comfortable showering in there. We had no view and were a long way from the elevator, but someone has to have that room...and we weren't in the room much to […] truly care. All the necessities without the drama of the strip (but close enough to visit when you like). Clean rooms to meet your basic needs and all of the staff is super friendly. 3rd time there and as usual we have had no problems at all, eat at all hotel eateries and thought they were as good as anywhere in vegas and price was good. Hotel staff were all very good and we feel they looked after us well. as arnie says all b back.

We stayed there for NYE 2012. We had a great time! The room was a nice size and the bed was really confortable. The bathroom fixtures are outdated but they work just fine. In fact the shower pressure is like a fire hose. It was nice to be away from the strip but still close enough if we decided to go there. I would stay there again. I enjoy visiting the Gold Coast Casino whenever I'm in Las Vegas because of their skilled and friendly staff at the table games, namely craps. So, I decided to try the hotel for one night. I had paid for a premium room, but at check in I was given a standard room and did not realize that until I got to the room. We booked this hotel at the last minute on a return trip from California to New Mexico. We checked in late in the evening and were greeted by a friendly front desk person. The rooms were comfortable but the restroom and shower were really crowded. Overall a good experience.

Enjoyed the convenience of this hotel. It is off the strip, so not jammed with people. The casino area is managable, and you do not have to walk many miles to your room. Food at the buffet was good as well at the Chinese restaurant. Shuttle bus very convenient. We used the valet parking, which I would recommend. Free service, only a tip required.

The hotel is actually nice. Desk Staff helpful, but help by phone not so good. I checked into my room and found the toilet seat lifted, like a guy had used it. Called and they didn't know if that was normal and moved me. Waited outside the door at the new room and when I went in, toilet seat again was lifted like a guy had used it. The guy who let me […] in said that is the way they show it is clean and all hotels do it. Well, I've stayed in over 100 hotels and never before found toilet seats lifted up like that. If anything they are down and wrapped, or just down. So, they should be able to tell any other surprised guests that is their normal. Otherwise, very nice room "superior room" they had given me. When you walk into the hotel it has that smell that tries to overpower the smoke smell. I hate that. Also, there was no "do not disturb" plaque and not a heavy enough blanket, it was skimpy and I was cold all night. It really is a tacky hotel, but for the money and that it is across from the Palm, makes it sort of worth the stay.
The Gold Coast takes great pride in the cleanliness of our hotel, we apologize for not meeting your expectations. All rooms should have a “Do not disturb” placard, also you may request extra blankets when needed. We do apologize your stay was not a pleasant one and hope you give us another try in the future.

My wife and I checked in on November 30 at 3PM and I explained to the desk clerk that we needed to have a room close to the elevator because of our physical problems (legs) so they met our request with a smile. Very nice room and well kept. We needed a wheel chair one night when my legs went out from me. The security got a chair for me and took me to […] my room and made sure I was safe and sound before they left. One of the security officers also told me of a tire repair service that stayed open 24/7 because I noticed my tires were low. My wife and I were very pleased with the entire staff at the Hotel and Casino. They were all real friendly and helpful. We definitely will make future reservations at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino. The room"s airconditioning/heater made way too much noise. It was because they have old systems and are very noisy, we could not get a good night sleep due to the noise. The hotel charged my debit card a $100.00 fee which will take up to 10 days to be refunded and due to this charge it overdrew my bank account.
