This hotel was nice. Beautiful courtyard area. The restaurant was good, but a little pricey. We also included breakfast in our stay and it was pretty good. Not quite as much selection as we've had at other buffets, but sure beats a continental. The bed was pretty hard, but the room was spacious and clean.

After a 700 mile drive from Round Rock, TX, we were so pleased at the cleanliness and comfort awaiting us, and although it was quite late, we were accommodated to a full meal in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast in the hotel was super--and the breakfast waiter, Louie, was outstanding in service and information about the local attractions and dining […] varieties. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and although the location was a bit far from the center of town, it only took a few minutes to go anywhere. We really enjoyed our stay! Les mer
"Comfortable and worth the price"
The Marriot is my favorite place to stay in Santa Fe. the rooms are comfy, the beds are amazing, the pool and hot tub space inviting and the breakfast is a wonderful spread. The staff is professional! It is well worth the price.

As long-time members of Marriott's frequent flyer club, we have stayed in lots of Courtyards. This one was the least comfortable of any we've stayed in. What happened to the little sofa that used to be in Courtyard rooms? This one had a rather shabby chair and ottoman—no better than a standard hotel room. I was disappointed to find a hair ball in my bathtub and even more disappointed to find that my toilet bowl was wobbly! Definitely not what I expected.

All in all our stay and room was comfortable. However, try to stay on 3rd floor not second because we were in between. The top floor was so squeaky that when ever the quests above walked or got up in the middle of the night we would wake up!!!! Go for the top so you are the waker, not the wakee.

This is a great hotel - very comfortable, nice people, great service and a great location just outside of the Santa Fe Plaza. It was also quiet and the bed was amazing! And, the price was right.

The is a decent hotel except I cannot recommend the indoor pool. It was dark in the pool area and the water was cloudy.

The service was great at the desk and at the bar and restaurant but we had spots on the carpet in our room and the sheets were very rough. The bed wasn't uncomfortable but not up to the Marriott eds were are used to experiencing.
"Nice mid-level hotel"
Clean and great and helpful staff. Conveniently located on Cerrillos Rd. near several restaurants. Only drawback is that is a few miles from downtown Santa Fe. However, the price would then be much higher. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is not near the historic center. It's a big hotel spread out amongest three buildings. My room was not well insulated from the hallway noise. The rooms have good insulting strips at the doors but it wasn't properly installed. Over all its not a top rated Marriott but average. The chair in my room was extremely dirty at the armrest too.

"Great retreat in Santa Fe/ Skip the Steakhouse"
We stopped at Santa Fe for the last leg of our travels through the Four Corners and to ring in the New Year. The Courtyard by Marriott was a great place to stay especially given the very cold weather. The room was a good size, with a seating area and work desk. The design is tailored for the look and feel of Santa Fe. The room is up-to-date, clean and […] very comfortable and was a retreat after days of traveling. We were able to take advantage of the pool and hot tub but don't expect a spa experience. The bathroom might be small for other travelers who are expecting his/her sinks. The location is ideal for a short drive into town and to the local eateries - you'll find a wide selection of cousine from Tappas, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Mexican or Italian. The downside of our experience was our dinner at the Castle Ranch Steakhouse. We went there for New Year's Eve dinner. Maybe they had a substitute cook for that night - it was a huge disappointment. You're better off to try the many other eateries in town especially La Bocca in the plaza area or the India House down the street. We would recommend the Courtyard for couples, families with kids and anyone traveling for business. Les mer

My stay at this hotel was very satisfactory. The rooms, though having exterior entrances, were still very private since the doors exited to a private courtyard that is well manicured and shaded. Courtyard provides tables and chairs in the courtyard that was the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine. My only regret with my stay were the beds. […] There just weren't enough covers and I would have liked a blanket to cover up in. Other than that, the room was clean and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Les mer
"Courtyard By Marriot Santa Fe"
We found the hotel up to Marriott's standards and the hotel staff was courteous. The rooms were very clean but our room over looked the back parking area which was not ideal. We had an issue with the guests in the next room that were young girls. They kept slamming their room door, every time they came and left and we finally call the Marriott Main […] Desk to complain. That did help but didn't resolv ethe problem totally. Our biggest issue is if you stay in Santa Fe, stay near the Plaza for convenience. This Marriott is about 4 miles away so you either have to take the bus or cab to get around. The Marriott had a shutte but it only ran during limited schedules schedules. Les mer

Not the nicest hotel I stayted in by far and really overpriced for what you get. All rooms open into breezeway - this equates to more noise in your room.

"Santa Fe Get-away-Weekend"
Good location, clean room, however, the floor are squeaky! Above and below! We stayed in room 217. The room above us, we could hear movement, and squeaking. Saturday morning, we we're awakened early by our neighbors above us. That night, we called the Front desk to complain. Would recommend this maintenance be fixed. Sincerely,

"Overall good but needs help in coffee department"
The hotel was comfortable and nicely decorated. The manuel in the room said that in the lobby coffee was available 24/7. It was only available in the morning & by 8:00 a.m. only decaf was available on out checkout day. If decent coffee isn't available in the lobby then the hotel should consider improving the coffee that we can make in our rooms.

Santa Fe is an economically depressed area with some reasonably priced hotels(this one is the best value)and high-end art galleries downtown. It is convenient to the airport, ..with a friendly staff that allowed us to change our room(away from the elevator) and provided us transportation to and from airport and downtown. "Needs Nicer Linens, but Very Nice Hotel"
My husband and I were staying over on our way to Cimarron, NM with our toddler. I'll admit, I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness with my children especially! This hotel was clean and I didn't feel like I couldn't lie on the sheets. A couple of negative things that I did notice was the linens. If they would have a more soft, plush linens like […] other hotels in their star rating, they would be rated exceptional. The bed pillows were a little worn or maybe just cheap. They did not support you if you wanted to perhaps prop up in the bed. The other negative thing is that when I asked for a crib/pack'n'play, they did not bring any linens for it. Do they actually want the children to sleep on the pad without a linen? That would be like sleeping on a mattress with no fitted sheet. Fortunately, I did bring my own for our final destination where I knew I had to provide my own; otherwise, we would have been out of luck and had to wait after calling again for linens. Les mer

This is a great place to stay - especially at these rates! We've stayed in much pricier rooms in Santa Fe & they weren't nearly as nice as this hotel. We will definitely be coming back.

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Santa Fe. Not only was the hotel extremely comfortable but the staff was very accommodating. The hotel has a new restaurant which I certainly recommend. If you like margaritas, the bartender makes a great one. The food was excellent too.

Nice Hotel...Indoor pool with late hours until 11 p.m. IHOP right next to Hotel so you can eat breakfast in the morning. Hotel does serve breakfast but is pricey. Only a few minutes from the Plaza if you turn left instead of right! I had to listen to my wife about that one, opps!

There is a free shuttle to the Plaza which makes it worthwhile. I wish I knew how much the hotel prices dropped after Memorial Day week-end.
