The hotel is a bit old and ot needs some renovation. However, the staff makeup for that with theirleasant manners. The free internet is a huge plus. It's fast and reliable. The smoking rooms as well. You're getting what you're paying for with this hotel.

The hotel was good with free parking in the compound,or 5 euros pr day in locked garage,well we stayed only 1 overnight stay so we cannot say much but the food and breakfast in the hotel was good.

This hotel is some distance from the main tourist attractions of Hamburg. Taxi's too the centre cost in the region of E18. However, just to the right of the hotel there's a Hamburg rail system station. For a group of up to 5 persons travelling after 09:30 CET, the cost is just E9.80 for a day ticket. The rooms are spacious and well lit. Generally very […] clean, though we did discover an empty wine bottle in the corner of the room. The rooms facing the main road are subject to considerable traffic noise. The en-suite facilities are modern and clean. However the shower thermostatic controls has two settings, Freezing and scalding, with a tiny 'acceptable' zone between the two. Control is via a lever positioned at elbow height. This means that it is possible to accidentally move the temperature setting whilst showing. This is an excellent wake-up tonic. The hotel has off-street parking, either in the hotel garage (E5/night) or on the outside perimeter of the hotel grounds for free. Hotel reception is clean and spacious. The staff are pleasent and eager to please. Breakfast buffet costs E11, and is well worth the price. Les mer

It's a bit of a throwback to the 1980s or even 1970s, however the hotel is still kept very clean and the bathrooms had at least been updated to more modern times! It's located in a residential area so doesn't really feel like you are on holiday (which I was). For the price I paid it was ideal. Good location if you drive. Free safe parking. Only 5 minutes to the centre with the U-Bahn next to hotel. Clean cheap and nothing to complain about.

The location is away from town, but right by a U-bann stop. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 8:00 am, and they were able to get us into our room so we could take a short nap before hitting Hamburg. The hotel is not fancy, but it was perfect for what we needed -- a comfortable place to stay.

This is a very nice hotel, simple, not a lot of amenities, but clean and comfortable. We booked a non-smoking room and were giving a smoking room. We asked to switch and were forced to pay extra because it was an "upgrade" to a non-smoking room. We argued vehemently and eventually got the originally quoted price and a non-smoking room, but unfortunately […] the young man who heard our complaint was a bit rude. Sorry, no matter what the customer is always right, and when we are offered other than we reserved we are to be treated with great professionalism and OVER-THE-TOP politeness. NO RUDE DESK CLERKS ALLOWED, NOT EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER!!!! The economy is too weak. We can ALWAYS go elsewhere. Les mer

Very pleasant staff and rooms were clean. Furniture and fittings very tired - long overdue a refit. Rooms are not equipped with tea/coffee making facilities - they have to be requested from reception and although this is supposed to be a 24hr service, they had run out of kettles by the time we requested one at about 8pm; get your request in early. We […] asked for a non-smoking room but were given a smoking room anyway, so confirm at reception beforehand. Good location, very close to a U-Bahn station, you can be in town in 15-20mins. Easily accessible from Hamburg main station. Ok, not in city center, hence quiet, gas station near by to get supplies, very convenient, clean. The staff went extra mile for me and always had a smile. A very nice greeting from the desk clerk both in the evening and in the morning set a pleasant atmosphere for our stay here. However the limited parking and the misleading hotel services book were disappointing. The Hotel Services Book said room service was available and it wasn't, it also said that they would bring you a tray of coffee or tea anytime […] of day and they said they didn't offer that service anymore! I went to the hotel and the taxi pulled up to the front of a lovely place, and when I checked in I found that my room, along with many others, were in the annex out back! It was quiet, the view of the back of the hotel was wonderful! The laundry bag in my room had already been used, there was no list for laundry services to be found. The wireless internet […] as promised was free after you registered and gave them your email address which is now filling up with spam, and it was frequestly so slow I went to sleep watching the hourglass spin. Carpets were dirty in the room, and next door to "the annex" was a lady's fitness center that blared loud music every night from 7 to 9 so you have to keep your window closed. Of course there is the breakfast, or the dinner buffet neither of which was worth the trouble or the cost. And lets not forget the U-bahn ride just to get into the city where everything is that you will want to see. Take my advice and choose another hotel in the city. Les mer

The Motel 6-style blueprint meant being woken up at 2 in the morning by new patrons shouting and loudly wheeling their luggage to their rooms. I requested two beds, but really got one bed platform with two mattresses immediately next to each other. Awkward for sharing a room with your father, I ended up sleeping on a cot like thing at the foot of the […] bed. The shower had mold. The maid didn't clean our room for 2 days even though I requested this at the front desk. No amenities or even comfortable lounge area. The restaurant was good and it was next to a supermarket and a subway stop. Those are the only positives. Don't come here. Les mer

The Hotel is ideally located beside Rauhes Haus on U2 of the U-Bahn(about 4 stops to city). Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff were friendly. Free internet in the lobby was a nice touch also. The price was also very reasonable.Def recommend anyone to stay here

We arrived in a rather large vehicle and the hotel reception sorted out a parking space for us. Didn't get chance to practice my limited German language because everyone we spoke to could speak good English. They were also very helpful with directions to the Airport and a local Pub. The room was good and it had a fridge which we made use of.

I was not satisfied with this hotel at all. We booked a non-smoking room and got a smoking room with cigarette burns on the table and carpet. We were told that everything else was booked. On top of that, the room was old and smelly. It was more like a 2 star hotel or more like a motel. Very depressing decor, very small uncomfortable beds and low lighting. […] The next morning we asked for another room and we told that everything was booked. Only upon insisting did we get another room but once again, a smoking room! At least this room was bigger and had more light. We had to air out the room everyday to get the smoke smell out. The room was still pretty old and depressing. There are a couple of restaurants around and a pretty inexpensive supermarket a block away. Otherwise, you have to hop on the train for 4-5 stop to get to the center. Overall, I was not satisfied with my stay here and would not recommend this place to anyone. Les mer

A standard and basic hotel; friendly staff but otherwise nothing special. The Hotel is close to the U-Bahn, but there is not much else around. Not a bad place if you simply need a basic hotel room in Hamburg.

Sometimes it is very hot in Hamburg as well. We had the (bad) luck to be there on such a day. Fine during the day, but we couldn’t sleep at night, because the room was looking to the west and there was no air conditioning, even no ventilator.

Das von uns gebuchte Zimmer war furchtbar. Bei einem Best Western Hotel habe ich etwas besseres erwartet. Auch stimmt der Frühstückspreis von 13,oo / Person in keiner Weise mit dem Zustand des Hotel überein. Wir sind wie - wie bereits von einem anderer Hotelgast mitgeteilt - sehr günstig im Cafe May frühstücken gewesen.

Flink personale og fine værelser. Dejlig tæt på Ubane station hvor man 10 min efter står i hjertet af Hamborg.

Wir waren für drei Tage in Hamburg. Der Empfang war super freundlich. Jedoch war das Zimmer wirklich nur funktionell. Die Türen und Fenster liesen einen Luftzug durch. Die Spinnenweben hangen in den Ecken sowie gab es größere Flecken an der Wand wo man den Ursprung vielleicht nicht wissen möchte. Der Duschvorhang war zu schmal, der Duschkopf sprühte […] durch die dubiose Halterung überall hin. Zum Glück war alles gefliest. Trotz alledem war das Buffet ausreichend und stets befüllt. Wer wirklich nur schlafen möchte weil er erschöpft ist, wird dies hier tun. Jedoch ist es hellhörig. Die Lage ist wunderbar, keine fünf Minuten und man ist an der S- und U-Bahn Station. Les mer

Questa volta mi è toccato il 1°piano e la camera era molto migliore.Non vi era il kit di toilette ma l'acqua si ed anche il servizio coffee break in camera.Colazione ricca ma scarsa di dolciumi.

The rooms given to hotels.com customers are from the older motel wing behind the actual hotel. Rooms are old and small. But they were clean and warm. Offered internet was fast enough and there were enough free parking spaces.

Der Empfang war gut, jedoch musste ich eine volle Auskuft ausfüllen, in anderen wird das nur unterschrieben. Das Zimmer hatte alle Fenster, und war Raucher aktiv. Frühstück war für den Preis nicht akzeptabel, keine ausrechende Sorten an Brot, Weihnachtsgebäck (nur eine unaufgeschnittende Scholle), geringe Vitaminauswahl. Aufstnitt: Wurst ok, Kässe kann […] noch besser sein, Getränke etwas unplaziert/unübersichtlich, wo heisses Wasser, Kaffee, Milch (Kakau), 3 Service Personen, die an der Kaffee Teke stehen ... Hotellet har fin standard og ligger tæt ved U- bahn, så man hurtigt kommer rundt i byen. Ligger i forstadsagtigt kvarter, men man er hurtigt i centrum eller vestpå. Gratis parkering.
