nice hotel with a great location. the pool were great, clean room. the aircondition didnt work properly, but that was not a big problem. good parking fasility.

Hotel had a so-called 100 satisfactory guarantee. This was in no special degree pursued. When we asked or pointed a things they just told us, that it just how it was. One thing disappeared from our room. We locked our suitcases but also had something outside the suitcase when we were out. The staff were very slow to process this case and messages to […] others in the leadership took several days before they were followed up. The manager never called, despite the fact that we repeatedly promised that we would get a call. As it turned out that nothing was found on the laundry (we assumed that it disappeared accidently when the made made the bed) the way the staff followed it up was too bad, said as far sorry. The restaurant was expencive. Tax and tips was high on original price. The location was very bad compared to the sights people want to see in LA. Nothing spectacular to see nearby. The pool area have no fans an gets too hot mid day. The bathroom were kind of tired i think, spotty cracks in the bath tub. The room was noisy we could hear our neighbors loud speaking and going to the bathroom. Les mer

This hotel is ok. Be sure to get a room on the higher levels, and facing the street if you are sensitive to sounds. The reason is the nightclub, which is quite active during weekends. I asked for a room facing away from the pool area and on one of the top levels because of that, and the staff were able to accomodate my request. I slept well during nights. […] The beds are very comfortable. It has to be mentioned that the air conditioner in my room was quite loud, and not that good (old). If you seek proximity to the city, this is not the right place for you, unless you don´t mind about an hour to drive each way. So in conclusion; the hotel is ok, and you will need to take into account that a car is needed. Les mer

Overall the say was great..the people at the front desk were nice. We had a few problems but were resolved. The first problem was that we arrived and we had requested 2 queen double beds but we were given 1 king bed. That was a problem since we were 2 adults with 2 children with one being an infant. So that was a problem. They could not change rooms […] so we had to pay for a crib of $10.00 a day rental. Which I think they could have waived. Not only was it uncomfterble sleeping 3 peole to a bed but there is a club across the street on the right of the hotel where are window was located. So we had to hear blasting music for hours luckily we were on the 8 th floor & we were extremely exhausted! But it was irritating a bit .. The next day was much better we were able to switch rooms to a 2 queen room. The hotel restaurant was great!! Very good! Overall I would stay there again! Les mer

There was a maintenance problem that was handled very quickly and satisfactorily. The staff is very professional and responsive.

We used the Radisson as a base when we came over for Easter to visit our son , his family and to meet our new granddaughter. We did not want car hire as we were within walking distance of our family. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We used the pool quite a bit , letting our 2 year old granddaughter visit us there some days. Breakfast was […] good (and huge ) which set us up for the day. Shame that there was no fridge or tea making facilities in our room , but level of service compensated for that.With family living in Whittier we lok forward to using the Radisson again soon. After an intial encounter with a rude staff member and problems with the reservation, the staff went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. The renevation is almost done and things are looking good. The food in the restraurant is great and the prices are excellent, service is kinda slow though.

staff was very friendly. our room was on the first floor and during the night we heard loud sceams from hallway that woke us up every night. It was very scary. I did report to front desk.

I had never been to America before and was quite worried about where we would end up on our budget! I did some research and saw that Whittier was in a good location for all the major places in Los Angeles. We hired a car and everywhere (like Hollywood, Santa Monica, Universal Studios etc) were no more than 35-45 minutes away. We walked in the hills […] and went to the Observatory and on a walk to a lovely waterfall. Whittier was the most lovely and friendly location I could have hoped for, the surrounding restaurants did the most gorgeous food but very quiet. The hotel staff were amazing and very helpful with all our needs. The hotel was having lots of refurbishments done so the business centre was down but we had free wifi in our rooms and the hotel staff printed off tickets for us and our return boarding passes. We are going to return to Los Angeles next year and drive to Las Vegas and San Francisco too, when we book our trip we will definitely look into staying at the Radisson again. I could go on and on about Whittier and the surrounding area but I will leave it to you to find out for yourself :) If you ever go this way, go to the Boiling Crab - best seafood restaurant ever! We have stayed here about four times now and from what I can see it is the only decent hotel in the area. The only others are motels along Whittier Blvd. that look a little "iffy" to me. The Radisson is currently redecorating. The lobby and public areas are done and much nicer. The rooms are in progress but should be very nice when completed. The Radisson in Whittier is currently undergoing a needed renovation. The rooms are comfortable and kept clean, the sleep number beds are excellent. The staff is great and the parking is good.

Excellent service and a top notch staff. Jeannete was very professional and extremely helpful.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Got a good deal on a junior suite and it was a huge room for the money. Sleep Number bed, coffee maker, couch and two chairs. Staff was pleasant and friendly and the girl at reception recommended a great restaurant around the corner. Would recommend.

I grew up in Whittier and stayed at the Radisson while visiting family for Chrstmas...boy was I disappointed. The rooms are very old and in serious need of updating. The bed was horrible too...they have Sleep Number beds, but the bed didn't stay on the setting selected. Will be staying at a different hotel the next time I go to Whittier for a visit […] . Les mer

Service was great but the tv was old no channels ... No dvd or option to hook up your own. Def not a place u wasn't to be for a week.

Very helpful staff. 2nd time I've stayed at this location. In respect to cleanliness, seems they were remodeling hence the dust and debris

My son stayed at The Radisson Hotel which was very convinient for him to take his State Boards Exam. He was very pleased. The Hotel was very clean, eerything was within distance. Fare wise, the hotel was very reasonable. The front counter person that checked me in was very polite. Hotel is dated but considering what I paid, I can't complaint. Location isn't convenient but it's great if you like to veer off the "beaten path". This is a chance to drive through East LA (via Ceasar Chavez) or head over to a mini version of Chinatown […] in San Gabriel. I read previous complaints about music noise on weekends so I asked for a room facing north. I didn't have one noise disturbance the entire stay. Les mer

At 2:00PM arrival they said room would be ready in 20 minutes. after coming back at 3:30 they said no rooms were ready and they couldnt upgrade us. about 8 couples in lobby waiting for room to be ready.. one couple sent to a dirty room and was forced to be late for a wedding cuase there were no clean rooms ready. the front desk staff could have cared […] less that we were all disatisfied. basically ingnored our request to speak with a manager. then a buss load of people came in for a 4pm check in and their rooms were ready either.. horrible service. i will not recommend this hotel to anyone i know even though it close to school. The hotel is in serious need of remodeling which is apparently planned for this coming year. Rooms were "dingy", sleep bed didn't work, bedding appeared old. It is located in a nice area - can walk to several restaurants.

This could be a top notch hotel if they upgraded some of the structure. Service is good but I did have to ask them 3 times to fix the ac in my room. the parking lot need to be upgraded wider slots to park cars.

This hotel was extremely run down and dirty. I don't think they had done anything to the amenities and furniture of the room in over 20 years. I would not recommend staying there to anyone.

6 out of the 7 nights we stayed here we were woken around 2 and 5 am by people screaming in Korean. The kicker was it was always different people. Accross the hall, above us, below us, and next to us. Basically the hotel has done a great job bringing in people from accross the world but they really need to explain time differences and appropriate volume […] levels, or it might just be that the walls are paper thin I don't know. Also our rental car was hit in the parking lot and whoever did it didn't leave a note. Les mer

The hotel was lovely; rooms were fairly comfortable. My room was on floor 6 & overlooked the pool. Fri night there was a live band & dance floor--VERY NOISY. Thought I would be able to sleep on Sat nite but they have a nite club in one of the ball rooms and the live band and DJ was VERY, VERY noisy until 1:30 Sunday morning. The hotel did find a room to acccomodate 3 adults.

Aside from the mix up of only one bed instead of 2 everything was okay. The second night of our stay the hotel managed to find another room with 2 beds.

Had dinner via room service. Was excellent!

II was shocked to see that this hotel cattered more to the customers for their Salsa night then a patron. My husband wanted to have a drink in the bar but was limited to one drink which he had to show his room key to before they would serve him and was asked to leave after his drink because he was inpropperly dressed. He had shorts and a collared shirt […] on. while the girls has skirts so short they should have been arrested..The next day at the pool we had to go in to the hotel for drinks because they where short staffed. hotel is in need of an update. Whenever you get an exceptional room rate at a hotel you nevr stayed before it is always a little intense, but, THIS WAS A GREAT STAY. The hotel tsaff was friendly and accomodating. The area was too muc fun.

Amazing hotel, best service and confort. Me and my girlfriend love it. I recommend it.

We have stayed in several area hotels in the Pico Rivera/Whittier area, and this has been our best experience, by far. The staff was terrific, helpful and friendly. We ate at the onsite restaurant with some trepidation due to reader reviews, but we found it to be very good and more than reasonably priced. We will definitely stay here again.

Have stayed in this hotel numerous times. Hotel is very nice, parking is terrible. Parking bad on previous stays too. Manager was near the front desk just as we were checking out and so my husband mentioned to him how difficult it was for us to find a parking spot the night before. Evidently they only lease some of the parking space so they don't have […] control over its use. They also offer entertainment in the hotel which uses up a major part of the parking. Sat. night after 11 we rode around for over 10 min. trying to find a parking spot. Finally someone left and we got a spot.....quite a distance from the entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, there were 3 or 4 other people driving around for spots too. Unless they correct the parking problem, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others. If we hadn't lucked out and found a spot, who knows how long we would have had to drive around. We did not want to park on the street. My only other problem is that there isn't sufficient lighting around sink area where I was trying to put some makeup on. I like this hotel but unless it's cheaper, not worth the inconvience of bad parking. Les mer
