God og ny standard, kjøleskap og mikro på rommet, godt renhold, nær beliggenhet i forhold til BART og gode restauranter. Vi fant kort og godt ingenting å utsette på dette hotellet.

Pris i forhold til produkt er excellent++. Svært bra bakeri, samt imponerende nydelig frokost/lunsj-sted rett over gaten, ved vinutsalget. Kun 800 meter fra T-bane (BART) med direkteforbindelse til San Francisco og begge byens flyplasser. Hyggelig villastrøk på veien til T-banen, med naboer som hilser.

We were so surprised about this place because of the price!
I have stayed at this hotel twice now, I think it is perfectly fine. Great location, comfortable, pleasant staff, priced right. I will stay there again.

"Outdated Motel"
The Days Inn Novato is visibly out dated as soon as you pull up to it. You can tell that it needs an update really bad. The rooms are haven't been updated in a long time. The bathroom counter were crooked which is "ok" but just shows that the hotel is in need of maintenance. The heater is either on or off - you can adjust the force and "temperature" […] but you can't set it at a specific temperature. So if you set it to be "warm" before you go to bed, you will wake up in the middle of the night sweating and then have to adjust the dial. It would be nice if we could have simply set it to 70f and left it alone. The bed is hard and uncomfortable for. We had to fold the comforter and place it under the fitted sheet to get some extra padding. The fitted sheet, also, tended to slip off in the middle of the night. The room had an old style TV but it worked. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room too, which is nice. The staff was friendly and the breakfast in the morning was okay. You can choose from cereal, oatmeal, waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, English muffins, etc. - good for a free breakfast! Overall it worked for what we needed but it could have been better (bed, heater). I probably wouldn't stay there again but there aren't many options in this area. Les mer
"Days Inn Navado, CA"
My wife and I stayed there 10 days and injoyed then all, the rooms were very clean and were equiped with a refrigerator and micowave. The continental breakfast had one of the best selections that we have had in a long time. Road traffic noise was no problem. Coffee machine in every room.
the bathroom floor needed HELP. the bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. in spite of being near the freeway, it was extremely quiet. the desk manager was also extremely nice and helpful. For one night it was just fine. We would stay there again.
"Excellent staff"
I like this hotel. The only issue was the Jacuzzi was only at 80 degrees and was not getting any warmer. the staff are always super nice and helpful. Great breakfast with organic apples.
"Very peaceful"
I grew up not 5 miles from this hotel, and didn't know it was there. The setting at the base of the rolling hills made for very peaceful mornings. On the down side, in-room internet access was very spotty. I know they had concerns about electrical capacity, but nowadays internet access is a must for most travellers. Wireless repeaters are inexpensive […] and have low power requirements. The staff was friendly and very responsive to our needs. Continental breakfast was OK but high in carbs. All told, I will definitely stay there again to visit my family. Les mer

Hotel is on frontage road near 101, and is pretty close to Novato town center, where there are many choices for dinner (and a whole foods / trader joe's, if you want to get dinner to take to your hotel room to eat). Friendly, helpful staff, and for the reasonable room rate / price, would definitely stay there again.
"An Inexpensive Gem in an Expensive Area"
This hotel is surprisingly wonderful for the price. It is much nicer than some other Days Inns that I've seen. Although the buildings are obviously not new, they have been well maintained. The rooms are so much more spacious than other hotel rooms in this price range. The pool and relaxing area in the center courtyard is huge and very inviting! There […] is a view of the beautiful hills of Marin from many of the rooms and from the pool. The gym is not very big, but I got a couple of decent workouts in. "Under-rated!"
Yes, the hinges in the bathroom were rusty, and the tiles were a little, er, used. But you can not beat the price and location for this part of California. Unlike what I read in another review, the manager was utterly professional and helpful. "Quieter than expected"
We were exhausted from the long drive but still had energy to enjoy the area. Very quiet for being so close to the freeway. Our room was facing the lovely hills of Northern Ca with the rugged oak trees too. We even saw deer along the fence-line!

The staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and everything worked (tv, air conditioner, etc). Nice courtyard around pool and some picnic tables. Surprisingly quiet considering it is right by freeway. Hotel is older and run down but someone is at least making an effort to keep it suitable. Mattress was a bit hard and lumpy […] and they were the worst pillows EVER!! Typical continental breakfast but well stocked. If you are looking for somewhere inexpensive and don't plan on being in room alot it is completely sufficient. Novato is cute little town with lots of food choices and very convenient. Les mer
"Clean & Quiet--Good for the Price"
The pool and hot tub were very nice in the evening after a long day in the car and hiking. This was a good stop along the way for us. Nothing fancy, just a place to get a good night's sleep before getting back on the road. It is a good value for the price.
"Loose toilet?"
The toilet was loose from floor. Must have been like that for a long time? Otherwise, clean. Some cat hair on bed, so spread not cleaned properly.
"Great staff and location"
The only issue we had was that I had signed up for a non smoking room and our clearly was not and had ashtrays. They were sold out and we were checking in late. While this was not a biggie for me, my freind just completed chemo and the smoke odor really bothered her.

Rooms are clean and provide the basics. Pet friendly policy is a real plus for those travelling with pets. Included breakfast is a nice addition. We were disappointed, but not surprised that the excellent Chinese restaurant has closed; it probably didn't fit the clientele.
