et trivelig hotell,som fortjener mere enn 2 stjerner. Vi satte stor pris på det stor luftige dobbeltrommet. Bassenget med jacuzzien var også noe som var godt å tilbringe noen timer i etter en sliten reise. Frokosten var enkel men god. Veldig behagelig med transportservice til og fra flyplassen.

"Cincinnati"
I only have 2 complaints about this hotel. 1. They still give you an old school key to get into your room. It is large and bulky and is easily lost. 2. My room window only faced into the hotel which made for a terrible view and no natural light.
I dont think I would choose this Hotel again, the lobby area was beautiful but the room was very small, no bath tub, just shower, the thermostat did not work, the room was extremely hot or extremely cold. For the money , we could have stayed else where that had everything needed and been more comfortable.

I wish I'd had more time and better weather. I was there overnight for work and it was pouring out. I would have liked to explore and find a cute dinner spot. The location looked to be fantastic.
"Classic and convenient"
The Cincinnatian Hotel is a classic old hotel with worn marble stairs and wooden railings - but up to date with a beautiful lounge that has live piano jazz. It is close to the Reds Stadium and the Ohio River, as well as close to many restaurants and the Duke Energy Convention Center. Classy and in a perfect location.

We were told upon check in that they try to keep things more historic in the hotel and that's why they have the old school type of keys...however when you go to your room there were laminate wood floors, cheap looking shelving that served no purpose and overall, it looked "thrown" together. The hotel was lovely and the "deluxe" king room was quite […] nice. However, I would have expected the amenities and basic things in the room to be a little nicer. The chairs in the room were a bit old and looked well used, there was no little table to set a drink on when sitting down in the chairs. An ugly chaise lounge was set over by the bathroom, it didn't quite go well in that room. The tv was old, small and very bulky...definitely needs to be updated. The door to the bathroom was strange as you could somewhat see through it and there was no privacy because of that. The bathroom was huge and open...but the vanity was small. Les mer

Great value for money. Very clean bed although the room was dated and had water stains. No coffee maker in room. Old style TV. Neighbourhood is sketchy but only for a few blocks. Staff was fantastic. "Beautiful hotel, great service, excellent food"
We routinely stay at 4 or 5 star hotels so we're not easily impressed. The Cincinnatian impressed us. Aside from the lack of view (over the atrium, yawn) and lack of coffee-maker in room, everything was perfect. this hotel was convenient however the amenities were not up to par with a 4+ hotel. Comfort Inn does it better.
"Loved it!"
Our room was amazing. Huge bathroom with double sinks and a large jacuzzi tub. The fireplace was awesome and loved having a separate sitting area. We only stayed one night... would have been great to be able to stay longer. Downtown Cinci seemed very dead... but it was a Sunday night.
"The bed problem..."
In a few words, the hotel is very nice but the bed could be MUCH more comfortable. Also, be aware that the room preceded by the word "Atrium" is literally on the second floor, together with all the conference rooms and their public. It can be a bargain, but also a problem.

"The Cincinnatian - Convenience and Comfort"
We stayed at The Cincinnatian to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Our experience was great; the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the room service we ordered late-night was delicious. The room itself was quite comfortable with ample space to put our stuff, and hang out. The bathroom was huge very clean. Great body care products were provided […] as well. The bed was comfortable and our room opened out to the atrium, where we could hear the piano and lounge singers from the restaurant. It was lovely. The parking garage around the corner from the hotel was reasonable - $9 for an overnight stay. We didn't pay more than $12 for parking, which is great for any city. "Cincinnatian Hotel - way past its prime"
I had to check into three rooms before I found one that was satisfactory. My first room had a thin ceiling and I could every step of the person above. My next room could not connect to the internet and there was a loud noise coming from the ceiling of the bathroom. My third room was adequate, although the outlet in the bathroom didn't work, the water […] for the shower didn't work properly and the toilet didn't stop running. I might have tried the hotel restaurants, but the room conditions were such that I was wary of what wasn't working in the kitchen. I'm sorry to give such a negative review, because the staff of the hotel are as good as a Four Seasons or Ritz-Carleton. Whoever is the owner should be ashamed of themselves for not investing more money in the condition of the building. Les mer

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Cincinnatian. It is a smaller hotel with a staff the size of that for a larger hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Amenities were great too!

"As good as it gets for Cincinnati"
I chose this hotel over the Hilton because they have wifi. But the majority of the hotels are all concentrated with the same general downtown area, so it's location doesn't stand out. It's an old hotel, which is its charm, but the room was cramped... although, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff was great and extremely friendly and courteous. […] Too bad there isn't much to do in Cincinnati, this hotel is one of the highlights. And the restaurant downstairs was pleasant, although I expected more from the food. We were in town to attend a Reds baseball game and had stayed in other downtown hotels before but this was our first stay at the Cincinnatian and we will go back there again. The staff was so very accomodating and pleasant. The grand old hotel is beautiful. We liked how close it was to Fountain Square and to walk to the Great American Ballpark. "Cincinnatian Hotel - Nice!"
We were surprised at how large the room was. The queen sized beds seemed larger than most hotels. Loved the little balcony we could sit out on and look out over the atrium. We will stay here again!
"OK - but no longer first class"
Small little things make this less then a first class hotel. The place needs some sprucing up and more attention paid to the details.

"The Very Best"
This hotel is what you want when you are not at home. The staff is personable and friendly and very attactive. The rooms sre big and clean. The best part is the gym. It is like have your local gym in the hotel. Treadmill, wieghts and everything else.

This has not been the best hotel I have been to in this category. Overall decor appears aged and is also reflected in overall wear and tear. I found it unusual for a four star rated hotel to have no tea/ coffee making facility and that a basic 500ml water is charged at $5 a bottle, a Wallgreen is located near by. Check in stretched to over an hour since […] the safe deposit box in the room had a wrong key. Instead of allocating another room. Facilities insisted in changing locks, not much appreciated after an 18 hour journey. Would sum up my experience as "Could do better". Les mer

"outstanding hotel"
pluses outweighed any negatives breakfast room service was 15 minutes late but the fact that they were busy was a good sign. Lovely quiet place to stay for a business traveler

The hotel has a beautiful decor and we loved our balcony over looking the interior court. We paid extra for valet parking, but it was worth it and the staff was friendly and accomodating. "Not that it was bad, but it misses the mark for a 4.5 star establishment"
Hotel wasn't bad, but I would consider it more of a 3.5 to 4 star establishment. I expected something much more luxurious. The lobby, while nice, wasn't as upscale looking as I anticipated. Actually, the hotel looked more like a boutique. In my room, the furniture was badly nicked and wasn't elegant. The mattress wasn't a very expensive one. The television […] was a traditional analog CRT, and none of the local networks were available. The channel guide was totally incorrect. I later found out that the hotel was in the process of renovation and that my room was one of the few that hasn't been worked on. My room had a balcony facing out into an open indoor atrium. I noted why standing on it that the ceiling above the atrium was flaking. It was also poorly insulated as I could clearly hear the piano from the lounge with the door closed. Requested turndown service and was forgotten, but the staff made up for it by bringing up extra cookies. The restaurant in the hotel was decent, but it was more about pretentious presentation and high prices than quantity. My main course's portion was rather small. I expected to receive a vegetable with my meal but didn't. The staff throughout the hotel was very accommodating and kind. Considering everything the hotel offered, I believe you can find similar or better accommodations in 3.5 and 4 star hotels downtown at a better price. Les mer

I thought that the room was very small but clean, with a super comfortable bed and a nice, clean, and spacious bathroom. The best part of the hotel was the service. All staff were gracious and thoughtful; when I was stuck waiting for a very late shuttle to the airport, the staff at the reception desk called the company for me for updates and fetched […] an ice cold water for me, while the bellboys outside watched my bags and directed me inside where it was warm. "Really nice, but overpriced..."
The hotel was very nice, but I expected nicer for the money. The staff was a little stuck up and we had a lovely view of an alley that smelled like pee.
