I wish to thank the folks at the hotel for very friendly and helpful service. Cherye was magnificent.The morning waitstaff were always happy to see you and willing to help in any way.I'm not sure we are going back to Texas City but if I do I would stay here again..
"Exactly the right place to stay"
We went to Texas City to go to the dog track and a night away from home. The accomodations were very nice & just what we needed!!!

We were looking for a nice hotel for a one night stay before leaving out of Galveston on a cruise. This hotel met all our expectations for the price. The reason I gave convenience of hotel location a 4 was because there were not that many restaurants close to the hotel. The hotel is close to the interstate with several restaraunts and shopping close by. The hotel is being managed by Mike; what an awesome person who shows a true passion to ensure your stay is as expected. If I travel back to this area, I will stay here again...
"Hampton Inn Texas City better than Galveston"
Stayed here instead of a hotel on Galveston for Dickens on the Strand festival with family. Great staff and the next morning the breakfast was excellent. Will stay here next time. They are better and less expensive than most hotels on the island and its still very close.

The lady that worked in the kitchen was amazing! She gave my kids a coloring book and crayins to use while I gathered breakfast and the next day she remembered what we ate and started my waffel while I tended to the kids! She was amazing. The housekeeping staff got to know my kids and were very helpful and chipper even after voluntarily taking my son's […] poopy diaper out to the trash! We never had to ask for anything. This hotel was amazing! It was right in the same parking lot as the mall and it had plenty of places to eat from. The staff was awesome!! They were all so friendly. The rooms and the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was delicious.

"wonderful experience"
The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful! The pool was ideal for relaxation and the fitness center was a plus. The rooms wer nice and clean and the wireless internet made finding restaurants and attractions very easy. It was located between Schlitterbahn & Kemah Boardwalk. It made spring break a huge success with the kids.

"Enjoyable stay!"
My little family of four really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We stayed there to be close to Galveston which was only a 15-20 minute drive away. The indoor pool was nice and clean, and it wasn't too cold or too hot. The room was also very clean. The beds were so comfortable...sheets, comforter, pillows and all! Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

"Great stay, but be ware"
This was a nice hotel, but after we got home we noticed that we had been charged for our rooms on our own credit card by the hotel itself. I had to call in and clear this up saying this had been booked through hotels.com. They promptly took care of this, but you may want to keep an eye and make sure they dont charge you again.

The hotel itself was up to par, i usually stay at one of the nearby hotels but they were booked up! I am actually glad because it gave me a chance to see that The Hampton Inn is as good or better that that property! The room and Beds were great, loved the bathroom counters! The staff are very friendly, especially the hostess in the dining area. Property […] was well maintained! I even extended my stay by one day and had no problem with the addition! The breakfast that is provided daily was well enjoyed by my daughter and myself! Something for everyone. We always use the indoor pool at these properties, just enough entertainment for the kids and out of the Texas sun and Mosquitos! Overall a great stay, plan on returning for my next visit home!! We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed 4 nights. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast area was nice and the staff there was friendly and helpful. We had some business in Galveston, but decided to stay inland for lower cost. The easy 17 mile commute to Galveston was not a problem at all. Easy access to IH 45.
