Very convenient to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the airport. The coffee machine at breakfast not great otherwise a good stay

So close to the leaning tower; just spend your days walking around Pisa. It's lovely and there is much you will miss if you only visit the tower. Room was exceptionally clean if a lttle elderly. Breakfast was plentiful. Bob in the bar was delightful and we enjoyed our after dinner drinks there. Reception was always manned and the staff could not have […] been more helpful. Don't pay for a taxi but get the bus to and from the airport to Duomo Sq. and walk the 400yds to the hotel. Les mer

Not a four star hotel in my experience. Room was almost in disrepair. It had obviously not been decorated in 30+ years. TV was the smallest I've ever seen. Generally in Italy 4 star doesn't mean anytihng.

we stayed one night for a quick visit to Pisa. It does the job for a brief visit. Dont expect much and you wont be dissappointed. Rooms are run down and in desperate need of a redo, especially bathrooms. Location is excellent however. Staff was friendly and helpful and the garage rate was as resonable as the room rates.

Although the location of the hotel was great, the room was dated and tired looking. We only stayed one night so it was not a problem but would not have wanted to stay longer. Breakfast was adequate, but when we arrived at 9.40 the dining room was messy and they had ran out of some items - they also switched the coffee machine off promptly at 10am.

This hotel is on a street leading up to the leaning tower, a fantastic location and rooms on the front can see the tower from the room. The hotel is on a small street with many restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were helpful and polite, we were also able to store our luggage here after check out. The breakfast was the best continental […] breakfast I have had, with cereal, fresh pastries, croissans, toast, jams, fruit, cake, eggs, hot drinks, juices, cheese bread and meats... very nice! Fanastic value for money, large rooms big bathrooms all very clean and very nice.. sky tv in rooms too which is nice! Would definately recommend!!! Les mer

Excellent hotel, within close eye-sight of the Pisa tower. Friendly, helpful staff, good facilities. In short, no complaints and would highly recommend this hotel.

I arrived at the hotel a couple of hours before the scheduled check in time and was greeted by friendly staff who checked me in right away. As a single female traveler the room was very spacious, as well as the bathroom, the staff were very courteous and helpful. I stayed on the second floor with window facing the side of the buliding, not much to look […] at but kept the hot summer temp down. The air conditioner was awesome! I would recommend this hotel and will return in the future. Les mer

The staff was friendly. Spoke great English. Just a few steps from the leaning tower. Lots of places to eat right outside the door of the hotel! Great night bartender - such a kind man! Cab ride provided to airport in the AM was sketchy, guy not to nice and totally tried to charge me to much and had no meter running, so he made up a price - not very […] professional. Les mer

Location, location location. This is the hotel for exploring Pisa. On top of the stunning location under 100 metres from the tower our room had recently been decorated,was clean & with efficient air conditioning.Breakfast was standard continental but friendly waiters brought out expresso coffee to complement the machine issue rubbish. Check in/out very […] smooth & the cocktail barman Robertto was a delight to talk to. Highly recomend this hotel as a base to explore Pisa. Only a couple of hundred yards from the leaning tower makes this a great selection. It was very reasonably priced but the rooms, while very clean, could do with being updated. Staff were freindly.

Hotel was in a great location, which is good to see the tower and also to be central to restaurants. Staff were not the friendliest that I have experienced and for some reason they wanted to keep our passports behind the reception desk. When pushed on the matter they did indeed return the passports. Very strange given that the hotel was pre-paid. The […] breakfast was average to poor and the room comfort was not the best. Les mer

Good hotel for the money. Doesn't appear to be a 4 star. I would rate it a 3 star. Don't stay at the rooms facing the main street as they are noisy. Staff was very helpful.

The staff are eceptionally helpful and the location could not be better for the tower and local eating whcih was also reasonable and good.

Despite the seemingly good value of this hotel we were astonished by its proximity to the Leaning Tower. The hotel was full of charm and character and importantly clean and comfortable. We had a room on the first floor at the front and could see the tower from our window. The Campo de Miracoli was only 100 yards from the hotel with bars and restaurants […] all around, which didn't keep us awake at all. I like my hotels not to feel sterile and this really had a good feel to it, not swanky and showy, but oozing character like the wood panelled lift. My highest compliment would be that I would stay there again if we ever went back. Les mer

A great central position in Pisa, just don from the Field of Miracles. Bit tricky to find due to the one way system, you have to park, go to hotel, and get permit to enter the restricted area. We only stayed for one night, but it was a great night. Recommended!

This hotel is anything but Grand. We stayed here one night in June and it was most disappointing. The hotel has the potential to be amazing but it seems like it has never been touched since it opened. The reception area tells the story of the whole hotel - old and needs modernising. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. The lift needs replacing, […] the carpet on the stairs only went up one floor after that there was nothing and the carpet looked like it had never been hoovered. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was large but again they have never been modernised since it opened. The breakfast was terrible - the coffee was disgusting and the selection of food was awful - we couldn't wait to leave. The two plus points, the hotel is a few steps from the leaning tower and there is a garage to park the car but overall it is the worst hotel we stayed in during our stay inTuscany - no chance is it a 4 star. Whilst there is no faulting the excellent location of this hotel (the leaning tower is literally a thirty second walk around the corner and there are plenty of places to eat all around it) the hotel itself just felt like a shadow of what might have once been a very nice hotel. Low and dingy lighting, drab and dreary rooms, a dripping tap in the bathroom...we […] stayed here for one night at the start of a much longer trip in Italy and were pretty glad to be checking out again the following morning. Although I would recommend it convenience-wise to anyone who, like us, were simply looking for a quick overnight stay in Pisa to see the tower and then leave, anyone planning to stay in the area longer than 24 hours would be well served to look elsewhere! Hotel is 10 minutes by taxi from Airport, around 10-14 E. Tower of Pisa is just round the corner. Arrival times are not strict having arrived at almost midnight. Staff were welcoming. Checking in etc was very quick which was great due to our late arrival. Lift is available for those with disabilities. Rooms are well kept, could have fluffier pillows, […] but air conditioned, with a safe etc. Breakfast served in the morning considers most tastes and was beautifully presented and filling, good strong coffee also, great for that first cup of the day. Breakfast staff are welcoming and smiling at 7.00am, which starts the day wonderfully. There is a lovely little cafe across the street (to the right) with very nice staff, that serves food/alcohol until around 12midnight, longer if you wanted to sit. Barman in hotel is a lovely member of staff , talkative, informative and a gentleman. The hotel itself is a beautiful hotel, marble and chandeliers, piano bar, etc.. making the stay even more impressive, yes as some have commented it it dated, but it is aging wonderfully, I call it character. I would not give it the 4 stars as 3 would suffice, but for someone that is traveling round Italy and just wants a bed and breakfast for the night like we did, this hotel is perfect having one of the main attractions to the city so near by. very close proximity to leaning tower. Public rooms good standard. bedroom a little jaded with a little mould in bathroom, but everything working OK. A lot of internal noise during afternoon, something being rolled around upstairs for an hour or two. Breakfast good with plenty of choices. Reception staff curt but efficient.

Kävellen nähtävyyksiin (200 m), ravintoloita ja sykettä koko katu, siistiä, loistava aamiainen, jonkin verran katumelua huoneessa, syksyllä sopiva lämpötila.

Hotellets beliggenhed er fremragende! Fra hotelværelset vindue kunne vi se Det skæve Tårn - kun 150 m væk. Området er MEGET charmerende med hyggelige små spisesteder og masser af liv. I betragtning af den centrale placering, var priserne i området ret rimelige. Hotellets personale var helt i top. Morgenmaden var i for hold til den almindelige italienske […] meget overdådig - dvs. den var helt fin :) Værelset var ikke så stort, sengen gled, men det var hyggeligt og meget rent og pænt. Der var steder både på værelset og på hotellet, der ikke var så istandsat som vi havde forestillet os af et 4 stjernet hotel, men vi kan varmt anbefale hotellet til andre. Les mer

Prijs- kwaliteitverhouding boven verwachting. Zeer gezellige straat die uitkijkt op de scheve toren van Pisa dus midden in het bruisende, gezellige leven, zonder daar last van te hebben op de kamer omdat de ramen goed zijn geisoleerd en zelfs voorzien van rolluiken. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel aan de receptie. Ontbijt was goed en het personeel […] was je graag van dienst, bijvoorbeeld met een andere smaak yoghurt. Wij zouden bij een volgend bezoek aan Pisa zeker weer voor dit hotel kiezen. Les mer

Hotel un peu vieillot, mais confortable, possibilité de se garer dans la rue. Très bien situé, à 2 mn à pied de la Tour de Pise. Par compte, le petit déjeuner n'est pas terrible

Cet hotel a vu de meilleures heures. Son passé n'est rien d'autre que passé. Toute trace de style et de grandeur ont été effacés par le manque d'entretien, d'attention, de service et surtout par une clientèle trop passagère. Les corridors et espaces communs de cet hotel souffrent de manque d'entretien chronique et sont en fait un peu sales. La réception […] est le seul endroit acceptable de l'hôtel. Les chambres sont petites et la salle de bains est minable, point barre. Les murs sont mal insonorisés, mais j'ai eu la chance d'avoir un voisin tranquille qui a foutu le camp à 04:00 du mat, sans trop faire de bruit. Je n'ai choisi cet hôtel que par sa localisation, à 200 mètres de la tour de Pise. En fait cette ville n'est d'aucun intérêt ne soit de la magnifique tour et basilique. Et comme la majorité des touristes qui s'y rendent, je n'y ai été que parce que mon vol quittait de Pise... autrement jamais je ne serais passé par cet endroit. Les mer

LO STAFF DELL' HOTEL HA FORNITO UN OTTIMO SERVIZIO, SOLAMENTE CHE, A MIO AVVISO AVREBE BISOGNO DI UNA VESTE PIU' MODERNA. PER ESEMPIO LA CAMERA ASSEGNATA NON AVEVA UNA DOCCIA ADEGUATA E AVEVA UN CLIMATIZZATORE VECCHIO TIPO E RUMOROSO. A UON CONTO MI POSSO RITENERE COMUNQUE SODDISFATTO.

Larmende placering, gammelt nedslidt og ucharmerende værelser med manglende rengøring. De fire stjerner må være opnået på grund af den yderst centrale placering på det skæve tårn og hurtigt transport til lufthavnen. Hotellet kan bruges hvis man har en aften tilbage i toscana og skal flyve tidligt. På den måde kan man nå det skæve tårn og sit tidlige […] fly fra en central placering. Men som ophold vil jeg ikke benytte hotellet igen. Les mer

The Grand Hotel Duomo is very nice located very close to the Tower of Pisa.

Efter at have skiftet værelse 4 gange, opgav vi og overnattede på dette renoveringstrængende hotel. Vi er normalt ikke vanskellige mht hotel/værelser, men dette overgik alt hvad vi tidligere har prøvet. Kan absolut ikke anbefales!! Hoteloersonalet var dog søde og hjælpsomme, og afstanden til "tårnet" kun 200m, men dette kan desværre ikke opveje den […] utrolig dårlige kvalitet på dette hotel. Vi kommer der aldrig igen Les mer

It is a good hotel, very good service.

Roberto in the bar was a true gentleman who made our stay in Pisa unforgettable. We would definitely attend this hotel again. The air conditioner in the room was the best ever seen.

confort très moyen pour un 4*, impersonnel même si polis, détecteur de fumée clignotant toute la nuit vert au dessus du lit, lits jumeaux (avec trou++au milieu), grand lit réservé mais pas dispo.., petit déjeuner correct mais personnel bruyant et nourriture moyenne, pas de fenêtre dans salle de bain donc ventil obligée mais très bruyante, cher pour […] la qualité mais on paye la situation++ à 50m de la tour, un tout petit peu plus loin sûrement mieux finalement Les mer

Havde 3 overnatninger. Meget central beliggenhed, kunne fra vinduet se "Tårnet" Hotellet fremstår på afstand og billeder super flot, men set nærmere på opleves det noget nedslidt og trænger til en renovering. Men pris og beliggenhed taget i betragtning, helt fint.
