Familie med to tenåringsdøtre. Fantastisk beliggenhet, flott service og komfortable rom. Suite Prestige med to dobble senger. Vi anbefaler dette hotellet sterkt om noen vil bo sentralt og vi er ikke i tvil om hvor vi skal bo neste gang. Det koster noen penger, men i forhold til beliggenhet og det du har igjen så er det ok.

Rene rom og god service - men veldig små rom. Måtte ha den ene kofferten på badet for å få plass. Men renholdet er viktigere enn størrelsen. Veldig bra beliggenhet og gåavstand til mange av hovedgatene på Manhatten.

Veldig bra opphold over 4 dager. Frokosten var grei nok. Vår datter på 15 var veldig fornøyd. Veldig god service i resepsjonen. Egen turistinformasjon som kunne gi mange tips til aktiviteter. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

"The London NYC - one of the few real 4 star hotels"
Service is top notch and reminds me of the quality you get from international 4 star hotels. We stayed at in the London Suite which was perfect for a family of 3 with more than enough room to spare. The amenities, service and location were all perfect.

"Great hotel in mid-town West"
I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated staying at the London in NYC. Staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great and the rooms were very spacious and well decorated.

Great room. Incredibly quiet. Well appointed and comfortable. Great restaurants attached too! Charming stay.
The hotel is wonderful. The service is great. The room clean and spacious and the bathroom fantastic. There is no seaing area int he lobby but other than that, there is not even one fault. Everythng is just perfect!

I'm always leary when I read reviews and overall they are good, but here and there are dis-satisfied guests. But I can't understate how happy we were with this hotel. The suite was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. Motorized curtains. Dual showers. Two blocks from the subway. It more than met our expectations for a competitive price.

"The London NYC"
We love it here, it's right in the middle of most of the places we like to go, plus it's usually a great value. The rooms/suites here are fantastic. I'd recommend the Vista Suites as they aren't much more than the lower floors (usually) and you get away from the city noise and get some great views. Room service was prompt and the restaurants (esp Gordon […] Ramsay's!) were great. Les mer

If you are looking for any kind of service then stay away from the London New York City. No one goes out of their way to do anything. The doorman is non existent unless you have a tip. They check you in and check you out. For the price I paid I am sure there are better options. Far less expensive hotels have much better service. As for the room it is […] uneventful. "Great location, quiet too!"
We loved our room, although the couch was uncomfortable. It looked nice, but wasn't nice to sit on. There should be a place to put your clothes when you unpack, there was plenty of space to put a dresser, but there wasn't one. Huge suite by NYC standards, but lots of wasted space. No lobby to hang out in, just a bar and a restaurant. Great location, […] very quiet, which was a nice surprise. Wish the a/c had worked, we sweated all night, both nights we were there. Overall, a great place, they need to make sure the a/c works, and replace the couch with one that can be used comfortably, and possibly use some of the empty space for a small dresser. Les mer

This is a truly exceptional hotel, the rooms are massive, we had a London suite on a high floor and the views were breathtaking. The staff were so accommodating from the manager to the doorman. greatest hotel i've ever stayed at!!! the entire staff was from doormen to housekeeping were more than attentative,accomodating and pleasant.all needs were met in a timely fashion with a smile..
"Reserved a suite and was given much less"
I booked a suite with a king size bed. Made arrangements well in advance to stay here. When we arrived, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and they could offer us a room with standard room with two twins. Ummm...that's a big difference...and my husband is 6'6' tall. We refused and then they insisted the only other option was a standard room, […] smoking. Unacceptable. PS- the standard rooms are VERY small and nowhere to put your luggage. Won't stay there again. I love The London, and take advantage of their frequent sales. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The London Suites are surprisingly spacious and good not only for sleeping/staying in but also hosting, so it's good for business and pleasure trips to the city. "The London Hotel W54th Street, NYCV"
As first timers to NYC we were unsure of the best location vs price. There are so many hotels to choose from. The London was recommended to us and we were 100% happy with the choice to stay for 12 nights for the following reasons. 1. Fantastic location eg two blocks from 5th Avenue shopping, one block from Museum of Modern Art. 2. We could walk to some […] of the best restaurants in New York eg. Daniel and Gordon Ramsay's was in the same building. 3. The London houses Maize for more casual eating and daily breakfast. 4. The staff were eternally friendly and nothing was too much trouble. 5. The rooms are spacious which is unusual in NYC and we had a two room apartment style rooms which was so much better than a cramped room with just a bed. 6. It was very quiet. We were warned about more noisy areas so that is also good advice to heed. 7. The decor and comfort of the rooms was beautiful. 8. It was easy to get taxis at the hotel, especially with the ever attentive staff. 9. After the hustle and bustle of NYC it was lovely to have a little haven in the heart of Manhatten to recharge our batteries, so I absolutely recommend this hotel for all the above reasons. 10. "Great hotel - unlikely to get better for the money"
This is a great hotel. Pretty much everything is spot on. Location is in my favourite part of NY - close to central park and the theatre distrinct and also close to the Lincoln Centre area which I love. The rooms are all suites and are pretty good. In particular, the shower is excellent - best shower of any hotel I have been too. Its a very comfortable […] room. The bed is quite firm - takes a few days to get used to (for me, my partner slept like a baby immediately). Other things - the gym is fabulous. Perhaps best of all is the bar and Maze resaurant - truly excellent. The only minor negative is that there is no in-room flims. Wouldn't normally bother me but we had 2 days of constrant rain and were surprised they did not offer this - even the Hilton offers it! Will be back next year. Les mer

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. The check-in was super fast and convenient. Everyone on the staff understood what the industry they were in-the service industry and made our stay outstanding. Our 4 day stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable! The staff was always friendly and helpful. I see no reason to stay anywhere else when I vist NYC! Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Gordon Ramseys restaurant in the Lobby. You would be better served eating elsewhere!

"Sliding"
I love this hotel. It's modern and has wonderful rooms. This particular room on 10th floor had crumbs on couch from previous guest and a roach the size of a chawawa, spoiling our romantic evening. What with bed bug scares, cleanliness is essential. Sorry the hotel slid this time!

We went there for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and had an incredible time. They upgraded us to a suite that was absolutely beautiful. We were amazed when we saw at least 8 major stars staying in the hotel. We also enjoyed visiting with the head bell captain, Sammy. He made us feel right at home. To find a good Hotel in Manhatan is not an easy target, if you do not want to pay a fortune. Event sometimes paying a high rate is not a warranty of success. I stayed last weekend, July 22nd - 25th, 3 nights. The location is great, just one minute walk from Broadway. 10 minutes walk to Times Square, one minute from subway station. I stayed in a suite with the price of flat, and it was very spacious and clean and beautiful. Free of charge 24 hour fitness gym with new machines and a punching bag! Great! […] It's a first hotel in the world I ever stayed with a gym with punching bag! Receptionists, concierge and other staffs are all kind and friendly, helpful. The room has a mini-bar with many drinks, but of course it's pricey, so I bought beer, water and some snacks from a supermarket 3 blocks away. But there was not enough space in the fridge/minibar to put my own beer, so I used ice from machine which you can find on the same floor to make it cool. When I put in and out my ham in the fridge, maybe I shook the fridge a bit, and the sensor of the fridge probably moved and I was charged for some drinks I haven't drink. But when I told the receptionist about it, she erased the charge, made it 0. If the room had a fridge with a bit more space for food and drink of customers own, it would be even nicer. And coffee machine or water heater too. And if there were a bath tub, it would be very nice, especially for Japanese customers who love bathing in a tab, But over all, I was very satisfied with my stay in this hotel. Nice hotel, but the poor service my husband and I received in the hotel bar lounge left a bad taste in our mouths. Our waitress was flippant and rude. The atmosphere was pretentious. Who needs that? We won't be back.

Stayed 4 nights for a conference. Room very comfortable. Staff accommodating. Large suite with "comfy" large bed. Conceirge suggested a great neighborhood Italian restaurant with reasonable prices which was a hit with my guests. Looking forward to returning soon.

"Love this place"
It's not often, but when Hotels.Com has an offer for THE LONDON, I jump on it immediately. This is a wonderful hotel, with spacious rooms and free WiFi. The location is amazing because it's close enough to the theater district and 5 blocks from Central Park. It's also near 4 different subway lines. I can't recommend this property enough.

My husband and I were traveling with our 19 year old son so the suite set up for even the regular rooms was perfect for us. It was bit expensive but well worth the price... morning walks in Central Park, and evenings at the Theatre were easy walks! Perfection for a long weekend!

My girlfriend and I were there for a business- pleasure stay. The staff was courteous and the suite was very spacious and clean. Checkout time was a little hairy because there was not enough staff. We brought our bags downstairs ourselves and I parked the garage across the street at the same gararge they would have valet parked it. So we had a very […] smooth departure. That would not have been the case otherwise though, We loved the room and was one of the nicest we have stayed in NYC and we have stayed in several five stars. Would highly recommend! Les mer
