Hotellet ligger midt i Sonoma Valley og er et ypperlig utgangspunkt for å oppleve flotte vingårder, drikke god vin og nyte deilige dager i solen. Servicen er korrekt og hyggelig, rommene store og komfortable, treningsrom, basseng og uteområder ypperlig vedlikeholdt. Restauranten er både koselig holder høy kvalitet. Spesielt vil vi framheve frokosten, selv om man faktisk må bestille bord og beregne litt ventetid om morgenen. For golfere betyr det også en del at hotellet ligger mellom to gode golfbaner og gjestene får rabatt. Den dagen vi ankom ble vi endog invitert på rimelig "farmers" evening, med ølsmaking, servering av lokale spesialiteter og deilg mat med masse øl til....

Dette hotelle overrasker, det er rent og det ser bra ut. Det er opptil norsk standard og man betaler litt over halv pris. Det er et basseng, og et treningsrom, men treningsrommet var ikke mye å skryte av dessverre, men det er en fin sti bak hotellet man kan gå eller jogge. Hotellet hadde meget bra frokost og den varte en stund. Det er kort vei til alt og man hører heller ikke noe støy utenfra, noe som kan være et problem ved andre hoteller. Det er kort vei til mall og outlet og det er i god stand. Servicen er også veldig bra her, de hjelper deg med det meste.

Stort fint rom, rent og pent. Kort gång avstand til Discovery Kingdom. Frokost rommrt var kansje noe for liten, tatt i betraktning antall gjester.

La Residence is situated right off the 29. Very close distance to downtown Napa but far enough to be away from the noise and traffic. We stayed here 1 night for a wedding and we checked in around 1:30 PM. Our Room was on the second floor #26. The king bed and pillows were very comfortable but there were some issues with the restroom. One of the dual […] sinks didn't drain at all and the shower had issues with having enough pressure so the shower head was drizzling while there was water still coming out of the spout. The room itself is outdated so the carpet and rugs were quite dirty...I kept my slippers on at all times. The staff were all very courteous and friendly and the breakfast had an assortment of pastries, oatmeal with toppings, boiled eggs, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Beverages were juice, water, tea, and coffee. Our overall stay was comfortable but improvements on cleanliness and bathroom plumbing can be made to make it a more enjoyable stay. Les mer

"La Residnece in the Heart of Napa Valley"
Thouth the ambience was excellent, the setting picturesque. The continental breakfast superb. The staff very friendly. The drawbacks- CA-29 road noise / shower valves are old & hard to work- stems need replacing / the jaccuzzi could be hotter. The outdoor cushions were dew wet & dirty - how about stacking them @ night under cover.

"Nice stay in Napa"
We enjoyed our overnight stay here very much. It was quiet. The porch and chairs outside of our room was sweet on a beautiful Spring day. There are some bubbling water vases at the entrance of the building where we had a room and I think that they are there to help drown out traffic noise. We had some noise from people walking because we were on the […] first floor and by the entrance.The staff kept us waiting quite a while when we checked in, talking to a previous guest who had left things. All in all, however, I would recommend this even though it is a little pricey. Les mer

"A lovely place"
La Residence was everything we expected...and more. In addition to the lovely and comfortable room, the place has lovely patio and the location is perfect to enjoy the wine country. We were delighted with the "Wine and Cheese" reception when we arrived, and really enjoy the lovely breakfast service. We will come back there for a romantic getaway.
"Couldn't be better"
This is just what we were looking for. Not right in town, a flavor of the Napa Valley with vineyards around. Didn't even have to drive in order to get an excellent meal at Bistro Don Giavanni. Hotel even provided a flashlight for the short walk.
"Good time in the wine country"
This hotel, or B&B as we liked to call it, was very nice. The staff, Shane in particular, was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. He was accomodating, and even allowed us to sit outside on the patio by setting us up with a propane heater to take the chill of the night air off of us. The continental breakfast was good - but perhaps a little sparse. […] We ordered off the menu and the breakfast omelet was very tasty! The room was very nice and had everything we needed. Very cozy indeed! This B&B is convenient to one of the better restaurants in the Napa area - Don Giovanni. In fact it is so close, we ended up walking their from our room. All in all, we had a very good experience. It is convenient and on-the-way to the best parts of the wine country - including the Silverado Trail. We would recommend it to others looking for accomodations that give you some flavor of the the Napa wine country. Les mer
The hotel reminded me very much of an English country hotel (not the Fawlty Towers type. The room was comfortable, nice bathroom - everything worked. Breakfast (included in price) is very good. Hotel offers cheese and wine 'mixer' between 18.00 and 19.00 - we didn't take parttake. Location for us was good - about 10 mins from downtown Napa (some very […] good restaurants) and a few minutes away from Yountville (and even better restaurants). Will definitely stay there again when we next visit the wine country. Les mer
La Residence was lovely. Staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour food was delicious. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend the place to friends.

Extremely satisfied. La Residence staff were very friendly and helpful. The Inn was nicely decorated, great linen, fireplace and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting and hors d'oerves! Breakfast was incredible.

This was a nice place very well located around the vineyards in Napa. The breakfast is nice and this is good couples place. Great place for a honeymoon or a romantic getaway.

I surprised my girlfriend with a trip to this lovely little resort in Napa, and we both could not have been happier. The hotel staff was excellent, the breakfast and wine tastings (included) were delicious, and the grounds were really relaxing and quaint. And seriously, the breakfast was amazing. The grounds are really nice, and the layout of the hotel […] is great - there are wine grapes growing and comfortable outdoor seating in several separate areas. It's a small hotel, but the way it's laid out feels very secluded and peaceful. It is right next to the highway, so there's a little noise when sitting by the pool, but it's minimal. The pool and hot tub are small, but surrounded with greenery and are quite clean. I would definitely return, and would love to try one of the larger bungalows that are on the property. Our room (in the mansion) was nice and the grounds very well maintained. Delicious breakfasts and wine tastings daily. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. When we first arrived I was concerned about the location as it was right next to the highway, but well-designed landscaping hid the road from view and the noise was not noticeable from the room. great location when considering visits to both napa and sonoma sides of the wine country. staff very helpful and courteous. in fact, when a slight medical emergency happened, a late night office attendant even offered to escort us to the hospital as she was leaving for the day. this was almost one o'clock in the morning. we will recommend this location […] in the future and will return ourselves. "Stop looking and stay here!"
We were very happy with our stay. The staff took great care to make sure we had what we needed. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the nightly wine and cheese service was a nice bonus. Walk to the nearby Italian bistro for a tasty meal and of course more good wine. "Great staff"
We were slightly unsettled about our suite being one of those located closer to the noise of the adjacent main road. La R kindly moved us to an upgraded suite at no cost located further away. A great hotel for exploring Napa and Sonoma, enjoyable complimentary wine and biscuits event each evening, staff were absolutely superb. "Beautiful Bed & Breakfast"
My fiancee and I spent two nights at La Residence and would definitely return. It's very romantic and the staff was outstanding. We don't have a single complaint. The breakfast and evening wine/cheese tasting were top notch!! We stayed in a queen room that had a nice fireplace and good size bathroom. The price is a little high however, you come here […] ready to spend money. Besides, you can pay a lot more at another hotel and expect a lot less. It's a great location, much closer than downtown Napa. If you decide to stay here, I can promise you will not be disappointed :) Les mer
"Beautiful Hotel, Friendly Staff"
Beautiful rooms, french country style. Great amenities - free cooked breakfast, unlimited supply of water bottles in room, free tastings and cheese at the end of the day. Nice patio and facilities. Right off Route 29. Nice Italian hotel within walking distance. Staff were super friendly and professional. Would definately stay there again.

"La Residence was a nice stay"
Enjoyed our two day stay at La Residence. Modern but had a nice B&B feel. Nice hot tub, nice room, very relaxing atmosphere. Close to many things, yet secluded enough to be relaxing. The only drawback was that we stayed in the house closest to the main road and traffic was clearly heard in the evening. One of the back houses or even one of the back […] rooms in the front house would have been perfect. I would stay there again but ask for a different room. Les mer

"Lovely hotel!"
We had a great stay at La Residence. Sat on our deck sipping wine while looking at the vines grow. Enjoyed a wonderful complimentary breakfast sunday morning. It was great!
