Helt skinnende rent, veldig koselig service, de kunne ikke gjøre nok for oss. Veldig gode senger. Nyyydelig frokost.. Eneste som gjør at jeg ikke kommer tilbake er ... Det er røykfritt slik jeg ønsket...men... Vertskapet røyker og det siver gjennom allt som er og mine astmatiske lunger og for sikkerhetskyld hadde jeg kikhoste gjorde det fælt å være der. Alt luktet røyk da vi kom hjem, til og med en topp jeg hadde kjøpt luktet røyk 2 mnd etter vi kom hjem!!! De har en gammel hund i gangen som ikke gjør noe for tred, men det ligger tørka svinehud og ører som den tygger på i inngangen til hotellet, dette kunne godt latt vær. Er man selv en som røyker vil jeg anbefale dette hotellet på det varmeste. Det er svært billig og jeg hadde dratt tilbake om det ikke hadde vært for røyklukt.

Koselig B&B plassert sentralt i byen. Meget hyggelig vertskap som gjorde alt for at vi trivdes der. Meget god frokost. Vær obs på at ikke alle rom har bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend the hotel to our friends.
Excellent hotel in a great location just next to Stanley Park & Blackpool Zoo. Only thing to be careful about is booking a family room (1 double & 1 sofa bed) as the sofa bed is a very small single and not suitable to sleep 2 children unless they are very young. We ended up paying to upgrade to a family room with 2 double beds which was much better. […] We would definitely return to this hotel as the staff were very attentive and location was great. Les mer

Hotel fine , but service is poor when you cannot buy a hot drink after 10pm - ' because the kettle is broke' ! and also because the bar staff are too busy - shame little thing spoilt it, some of the staff would benefit in customer service training (i.e who lost the sale !)

Hotel itself was lovely although a little out of the way. Receptionist just gave us the room card and told us where the lift was ! No mention or list of amenities of what there was for us to use, and no information in our room either. We didnt even know where the breakfast room was ! We actually had to ask in the Victory restaurant. Some of the other […] guests were very noisy at night. All room doors should have door slam buffers on them to prevent very loud bangs during the evening and at night. You can hear taps running and toilets flushing in other rooms from inside the room that we were staying in. After a very sleepless night we were then woke up with guests in the outdoor pool at 6.45am. Sooo after breakfast we decided to have a nap,bearing in mind our room had already been serviced whilst we had our breakfast. Whilst getting undressed our door was abruptly opening by a maid despite a sleeping sign on the outside of our door. Nice hotel with nice big rooms although very dark decor. Fluff all round edges of carpet. And not enough chairs or plug sockets so maybe wont stay there again. Les mer

Excellent facilities and the gym, spa and swimming pools in particular are superb. The golf course also looked very good, but I didn't get the chance to play it. Room was modern and well equipped. The heating in the bathroom did not work, making the whole room very cold. Reception were told three times, to no avail and with no explanation. The Breakfast was cold. When the manageress was told, she advised that they catered for 375 people every morning and the food was bound to get cold very quickly. Perhaps if the hot-plates had been switched […] on the food would not have got cole so quickly. We advised the manageress we were not seeking recompense, merely to try to ensure future guests did not have these problems. Les mer

Had an okayish stay here. Room was small for VILLAGE standards...but understand it was originally a DeVere Hotel and not built as a village. Lack of powerpoints near bed...storage was pathetic. Feel that DeVere VILLAGE should review it's advertising for their MORE rooms...as you really don't get 'more' except a more pleasing view from your window. Good […] access to local attractions... The De Vere Village is an excellent hotel in an outstanding location within a Country Park, surrounded by its own golf course. Unfortunately, it rained throughout our two-night stay. We enjoyed a bargain break with dinner included the first night. The food was so good and weather so bad, we chose to eat the following night in the Victory Pub attached, […] where there is a different special offer every night. The only criticism was the bathroom had some faults. The shower controls and soap dispenser fell off the wall when used but these were fixed quickly when reported to reception. Les mer

Fabulous hotel, friendly staff, excellent food, extremely comfortable trendy rooms. I stayed in this hotel for Christmas this year 2011 and it has been one of the best Christmas,s that I have had. I will and have recommended this hotel and I will definately be returning. Excellent value for money.!!!!!

The rooms have all been upadated recently to a drab gray colour the mirror on the dressing table is for decoration only. Beds very comfortable. Excellent hotel in a good grounds. Room was very clean and tidy although window was somewhat obscured by roof overhang outside. Good quality television although Sky Sports channel reception was poor. Bathroom a little small. Breakfast was varied and very pleasant. Swimming pool fantastic as were changing rooms. Bit disappointed by restrictions on children […] entering the pool after 6pm, however understandable given the mix of clientle. Overall a very good experience. I booked this hotel for a break for my partners birthday and it was great. The hotel is excellent, leisure facilities are excellent, breakfast was excellent. Close to zoo and Stanley Park. Very peacefull location. However, the pub and the restaurant was very expensive.

Have stayed here many times and think the improvements very good, however, don't think much of the new way they supply the toiletries in bathroom, I.e. From a dispenser on the wall, very down Market thinking!.

A plesent hotel within lovely golf course grounds. Our family room was fairly small with zero view, so we were glad that we didn't spend too much time in the room. Some aspects of the decor was shabby, but all was clean and nicely prepared. Restraunt was ok for breakfast - standard buffet fair. Otherwise we didn't eat in the hotel. The pool area […] was clean, but the Steam Room was not working. We booked through Hotels.com and got a good deal, but would have been disapointed if we had had to pay more. Les mer

Great hotel, clearly benfitted from it's refurb and I don't have any fault to pick about this. However, there was a wedding on, at least a couple of stag events and the many groups playing golf, yet the bar area was completely unprepared. We waited 20 minutes to get served on Saturday afternoon, the staff were clearly under pressure as indicated by […] their mood. The waiting time didn't improve throughout the whole weekend. Sunday afternoon I had to take my food back as it was overcooked, the replacement dish was not much better. Having said that the waitress (young blonde haired girl) deserves some praise, she was the only one with a smile throughout, unfotunate that she cpould work the bar as it may have ran a little more smoothly. A shame that the hotel didn't seem to be able to cope with it's bookings in this area. The steam room was also out of order for the whole weekend. Les mer

We stayed at the hotel Sunday to Wednesday in June. The hotel was very comfortable and we made full use of the leisure facilities. Breakfast was lovely - liked having a buffet rather than a served meal. All the staff were really friendly. We dined in the Victory Pub at the back of the hotel every evening - reasonably priced and good food.

The hotel room was dark and dingy, with dark colours and greys. The bathroom was tiny and you could barely turn around. Breakfast was poor and we had to wait 10 minutes each morning for breakfast items being re-stocked. The staff were unfriendly and the girl who came round to ask if you would like tea or coffee, never had a smile on her face as did […] the rest. My partner does not drink tea or coffee, but she was never asked if they could get something else for her. The Victory bar was a disgrace and a health hazard. My partner asked for a vodka and lemonade, but was not asked what brand she would like and was promply served the cheapest brand. The bartender was putting the lemonade into the glass and my partner asked him to stop, but he carried on and drowned the vodka. He appologised and said he was miles away. He should have been, as a barperson, he was useless. The tables had empty glasses and crisp packets on them and they were also sticky, where drinks had been spilled. The barman went outside and stood next to some guests at a table and then lit a cigarette and smoked it. He returned inside and went behind the bar and began serving customers without washing his hands, which I am sure is against health regulations. A very disappointing 2 days. Les mer

Lovely setting, nice reception area. We were given an unrefurbished room initially which we were unhappy with but on returning to reception this was rectified immediately and we had a refurbished room. Reception manageress dealt with this problem in a very professional manner, so well done to her. Room very comfortable and clean. Ate in Buca restaurant, […] absolutely fabulous meal, best Italian American food and great portions. Overall an excellent stay (2 days), must commend the staff in all areas of hotel, some of the most polite and friendly anywhere-well done to you all. Les mer

It was a nice hot day and when we got to the checked in counter... Lady informed us that they were fully booked and we had to go to a different place called Imperial. Apparently she gave us an incorrect Post Code.. and it took us ages to find the hotel. we wasted our precious two hours which we could have utlised at the beach.... !!! Excellent hotel this is our fourth visit. Let down by tiny things, been there for 4 days have to drink decaffinated tea for health reasons, staff were very helpful until the last day neither the decaf or Earl Grey tea my husband drinks was available had run out, small complaint but annoying in a hotel of that calibre. Would certainly visit again

"unforeseen circumstances"
when we returned to our room on our first night we found that the room above had flooded and excessive amounts of water was in our room, we went to reception to report this and the manager on duty was fantastic, she upgraded us to the queen suite for the night and then into a superior room for the 2nd night, this experience made our stay even better. Stayed here on business for 4 nights because of the pool and the location. Carpet in room was threadbare in parts and the sealant around the bath had a lot of mould on it. The bathrooms are well overdue a refresh. The public rooms, however, are excellent, as is the food. It is an excellent 3* hotel that probably gets its 4* because it has a superb leisure […] club and adjacent golf course. Food in the main resturant is quite pricey and the 'bar food' is available in the golf club which was always too busy to get a meal in. Overall ok and I have just booked to stay there again this week !! Les mer
