"Glad I only stayed here one night"
I would not stay in a Days Inn again because I did not feel like the bedding was cleaned. We got in very late and just needed an overnight sleep. The bedding had black hair on the sheets which is just not acceptable, and the blanket and comforter did not seem clean as well. "Great stay ...nice and quiet"
Very quiet and pleasant stay free of road noise or any other noise for that matter. Very clean rooms. Only one issue...the shower control in room kept falling off.
"Day's Inn Rocky Mount - Avoid Avoid Avoid"
I reserved two rooms - one king bed, non-smoking and one queen bed, smoking. Upon arrival, the clerk told me they had a king room, but no queen rooms because they had all been rented. All they had left was a room with two beds. I told her that wasn't acceptable, because I had prepaid for the queen room and it couldn't have been rented out after that. […] She pleaded ignorance and again said they only had a room with two beds. It was very late and we didn't want to search for a different hotel, so I reluctantly agreed to take the room. The king room was fine - nothing special, but clean and acceptable. The two-bed room was a disaster. The carpet was soaking wet, the room smelled musty and there was visible mold all along the baseboard. It was uninhabitable. When I went back down to the desk, the clerk miraculously had a queen smoking room to offer as a replacement. I reminded her that she had just told me all the queen rooms had been rented and she replied that they had been holding this one for someone, but the guest was a no-show, so they decided we could have it. In addition to having terrible customer service, trying to put us in a room unfit for habitation and not honoring their commitment for a prepaid room, the continental breakfast was terrible. The bread items (muffins, etc.) were stale and the waffle maker didn't heat up enough to cook the waffle all the way through. Also, the juice was extremely watered down. Did I mention the green pool water? I have never had such a bad hotel experience in my life. Les mer
"Never In My Life!!"
My sister and I arrived at the hotel at 8pm on a Sunday evening after driving 10 hours to get there, the room had a huge spider web on the window, the sheets were filthy and the bathroom was just nasty! After complaining to the front desk she gave us another room across the hall which was not much better! Among, everything else that went wrong in the […] first room, the phone was broke and the cable wire was connected with Duct Tape. I called the front desk again and not only was she rude she said there was nothing else she could do. I later found out when we checked out at 11:00 pm the same night that the management would not be in until Tuesday and they charged my debit card 50.00 for incidentals.....lol.....they should have paid me for all the crap I had to deal with! "HORRID"
i AM NOT PICKY WHEN IT COMES TO SHORT STAY PLACES, HOWEVER, THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE. WE WERE TRAVELING UP NORTH AND HAD TO STAY JUST OVERNITE. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN I SAW THE BUG IN THE BATHROOM. THE BEDS WERE LIKE SLEEPING ON CEMENT. OKAY. THIS I SAT ON A CHAIR AND WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT WAS WET. WITH WHAT I STILL DON'T KNOW AND DON'T WISH TO KNOW. "Days INN Rocky Mount"
The Air conditioning was very loud and the door would not shut completely. The door to the room had a visible gap underneath where the door touched the floor. Anyone could have been looking in the room and we would have never known. The location is exceptional close to a lot and right off of 95.
"Nice hotel for value"
The hotel was comfortable and clean. The only issues I had with this hotel is there was only 3 pieces of equipment in the gym and 2 machines didn't work and they let extended stay type people live there in the back and they were in and out smoking with their friends and had a domestic dispute outside. Don't stay in the back part of the hotel!

We booked two rooms. One smelled of old stale smoke even though they were non-smoking rooms. We got that changed. New room had running toilet, a TV with fuzzy screen, holes in the bathroom door as if someone had punched it, mold on bathroom walls, the refrigerator electric cord had a repaired plug that appeared hazardous and a non-working swimming pool. The hotel is showing its age. The neighborhood is not the best but not the worst either. After 11 hours behind the wheel a 5 mile jaunt with confusing directions is not what I desire.

"Quick overnight stay"
I was satisfied with my stay. My 2 children and I did an overnight rest at this hotel. The room was in good condition and beds slept comfortably. The staff was very welcoming. Not bad for the price. Would stay here again.

This hotel was fine for what we needed it for - overnight as we traveled. Our room had a microwave and fridge so it served our purposes. We didn't stay for the continental breakfast as we left too early. Beds were comfortable. Room was adequately clean. Bathroom was in need of some upgrading (toilet seat was too big for toilet - had to lift the whole […] seat up in order to close the bathroom door - made us laugh). Staff was friendly and helpful. The wi-fi connection wasn't great. It's location is rather far from I-95, especially when you've been traveling all day. Otherwise, no major complaints. Les mer

The Days Inn at Rocky Mount was OKAY. It was choosen because it was a pet friendly hotel. The room was clean however it was "old". The beds were to hard and the pillows to soft.

The work out room was locked and could not get access to it. Did not sleep well because you could hear other guess in the hotel. Room was not clean. We got a non smoking room that smelled like smoke and there was cigarette burn on the tub in the bathroom. When going to the drink machine I did not feel safe at all,

This motel really exceeded our expectations in service, friendliness, and cleanliness of room. We have stayed in other 2-3 star hotels as we travel alot with our dog, and this one was really nice one. The room was clean, and had plenty of towels, soaps..didn't particularly care for the one cup at a time coffee maker, went out and bought a regular one..the staff was great, housekeeping checked with us everyday and gave us clean towels, soaps, shampoo, coffee,tt.. The Continental Breafast was just that.

"Good hotel...bad breakfast"
After not getting adjoining rooms although requested, stay was good until we went to the free breakfast. Tables were dirty. The one person staff was obviously overwhelmed by the amount of people she had to deal with. When I informed her that an item was running low - I receievd a rude snapback.

The room was clean, but in need of update. The bed was extra firm -- hard as a rock. The bathroom wall had holes in the drywall around the top of the shower stall and the shower head. I was awaken at 2:30 in the morning during a thunderstorm to find my floor in the room covered with water. Water was leaking in down the AC unit and on top of the eletrical box. We pack up our things and walked to the lobby in the rain as there is not sheltered walkway. I asked for a refund or to be offered another stay at the hotel's expense as a courtesy. […] NEITHER offer was entertained. The lady just switched my room and told me to write a note for the manager. The manager called me the next day only to offer ma a 25% discount..... RIDICULOUS!!!!! The room was comfortable. Everything except the pool (it was November) was in working order. The beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was not extraordinary but not the worst I've had either. I would go to this hotel again if I were ever in Rocky Mount.

The prices at this hotel breeds frequency. In other words, at these rates I can truly afford to stay at this motel more frequently when needed. I can even afford to chill out there when I need to. I really liked most of what I experienced at this motel. I really applaud their role in helping America to get back on its economic feet. Go...Days Inn!
