Wow! Dette hotellet har alt man kan drømme om. Ligger midt i smørøyet, har et eksklusivt preg og er alikevel koselig. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

The stay was fine..Parking was difficult in leveled parking garage...keys were more difficult than slides we thought...The vending machines and front desk were out of water...couldnt use the baggage cart unless we wanted to have a hop to do our luggage. I and my accompanying guests were a little shocked that there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby. A couple of us would frequently awake before the others in our rooms and wanted coffee at a location that would not disturb our companions. Very pretty hotel from outside. Had late arrival and A/C unit wasn't working. Hotel staff were excellent in getting us another room. After midnight noise level on 3rd floor was off the chart. Had to have Security come up and check things out. Slamming doors, yelling in halls, etc. Thinking the walls were pretty thin; or we wouldn't have had as much […] trouble from room-next-door noise. Thought these were kids making noise; come to find out, it was adults. Overall, would recommend hotel to maybe a younger age group of people. Les mer

The DT Austin is a nice hotel with good amenities located on the side of a network of highways with very little within walking distance. This is fairly common though to Austin.

Although the neighborhood around this hotel is not great, I feel safe and have always enjoyed my stays at this hotel. It is clean and they always accomodate my needs.

Very nice Hotel. Did not have free Wi Fi in the rooms. had to pay extra. This was disappointing as other DT hotel's offer Free Wi Fi.
"scared to leave my room"
In the hallway a group of thugs gathered around 10pm and lingered in and out of rooms for several hours. Their language was off and my 12 yr old daughter and I were scared to go down to the lobby for a cookie. Instead I put a towel under the door to hide the light coming from our room and we kept our television very low. This area is a transient area, […] we stayed at another hotel nearby the night before and thought if we paid a premium price we might be safer. We were wrong. move up to the Domain area and drive. This is not safe and not one hotel personnel patrolled the halls to make sure the guests were comfortable and the halls were safe. Very disappointed in the price I paid. Les mer

Please know that the safety and security of our guests and ensuring that we have an environment that allows our guests to get a good night’s sleep is of paramount importance to our hotel. We do have dedicated security at the hotel and make very frequent patrols of the guestroom corridors to ensure that noise is kept to a minimum. While we always try to avoid situations where excessive noise is occurring but when noise complaints are reported, we do act very swiftly to ensure that the impact on our guests is kept to an absolute minimum. I can say with complete confidence that what you experienced at the hotel is definitely the exception and not the rule but nevertheless I am truly sorry that your stay was impacted in this manner. I'm a big Hilton fan, but this place needs a facelift badly. Dark, creepy parking garage that they charge you to park in and you walk a loooooong time to get into hotel (surrounding hotels do not charge for parking), INTERNET/PHONE CONNECTIVITY IS TERRIBLE ... you cannot get any work done in room. Tons of other lower-priced options within a mile at […] better quality. Les mer
Thanks for taking the time to write, you feedback is very valuable and greatly appreciated. I was disappointed to read that we did not fully meet your expectations. We do try to be very transparent with regards to our parking charge and to this end, it is prominently displayed on our website and other collateral. It sounds like you might have been surprised by it and I am very sorry if that is the case. Although we do have a charge, the covered garage is certainly a benefit during the very hot Texas summers and the occasional “cold snap” during the winter. Our guests also enjoy that it can be accessed from each guestroom floor without having to go through the lobby. Internet connectivity is an area that we are constantly looking at. We analyze bandwidth utilization each month and make changes to the speed of our system accordingly. Based on continued surges in demand for additional bandwidth, we are installing a very fast 50mbps internet circuit during the first week of February, 2012. Once complete, we are confident that we will be able to deliver a truly extraordinary high speed internet experience to our guests on a very consistent basis. "Great Value, Easy Drive to UT, Sites"
While the hotel is not in the best neighborhood, it is an easy drive to all the sites Austin has to offer. Value was terrific making our stay very affordable. Our room was clean, linens were super comfortable but the ac was broken--thank goodness for the cool weather. Interior verandas run all the way around rooms facing the interior courtyard (lovely […] w/ pool, hot tub, gardens) so having fresh air is not an option due to security. I had a fantastic stay at the Double Tree. The address listed took us to an incorrect location, but we saw it across I-35. Other than having difficulty originally finding the hotel, I would absolutely recommend others stay there.

"Double Tree by Hilton in Austin"
I love the DT but my only complaint was there was no fan and that you had to pay for WiFi and the shuttle service only goes up to two miles..... super 8 had both of these for free and a fan. Besides that... the service was amazing! So friendly!
Very nice hotel. Room were very clean, quite area and location. Excellent Service.....Only disadvantage no refrigerator
"Not as nice as expected"
We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. With the Doubletree name we expected the hotel to be nicer than it was. The parking garage leaked from the rain and puddles were everywhere. We had to dodge the rain coming through the garage floors to get to the elevator. The room did not seem to cool down like it should and the power went out a few times. […] The TV was old. The tile in the bathroom was cracked and could tell where repairs and caulking had once been done. The pillows were very flat. Not a horrible hotel, but expected a little more for what we paid. There was apparently a party hosted at the hotel when we stayed and after Sat night dinner we headed back to the hotel to realize we didn't have a parking place and had to park our car in the grass right by the feeder road. Stressful situation, but we had our parking deducted from our charges.

Nice and quiet, away from downtown, yet close enough to cab it. The beds were great. We had a Pure room. Highly recommend if you have allergies. Would love to go back and use the amenities. ie. Pool and lounge area. Very nice place for the money.

"Double Tree Review"
The hotel was wonderful, i enjoyed all three nights I was there. it is right next to the freeway, so finding it wasnt a big deal, the rooms were very comfortable. i asked the front desk attendent if he could put us in a room on one of the upper floors, which he did. 5th floor, the view to the pool was excellent.Only downside (which wasnt too big a deal) […] was that the parking fee is charged seperately. All in all, my money was well spent there and i would definately stay there again if given the opportunity. Les mer
"Needs to be updated"
For the price of the hotel per night, it should be upgraded. The room had a musty mildew smell like stale cigarettes. And we had a non-smoking room. The television was outdated and the remote didn't work, and when asked frontdesk to replace batteries they never came. Very disappointed...

Stayed here in late August 2011. Love this hotel! Rooms are always clean, and bed is comfortable. Room size is sufficient. lOVE THE BATHROOMS!! Had a room with balcony this stay, overlooking the pool and courtyard. Will definetely stay again. Great bargain for your dollar! Only complaint, from some co-workers, can be kind of noisy, meaninag, you can […] hear a lot going on outside of your room. Never bothered me, I'm a heavy sleeper Les mer

We were very tired after a long day of travel and unpacking our sons furniture in his new apartment. Check in went smooth. Cookies were fresh and good. wish we had some cold milk to go with them. Beds were very comfortable, room was quiet and cool, and dark breakfast great. This was obviously not a new hotel but the condition was even less than new. There were obvious signs of moisture damage and evidence of mold. I requested maintenance of a leaky toilet and even though there is a severe water shortage no repair was done.
