"Rocky Mount, NC Hampton"
Great place to stay with a better than average free breakfast. Only negative thing we can comment on is the management's lack of information about the Imperial Centre. In the loose-leaf book in the guest room, nothing is mentioned about this world-class art museum, children's museum and outstanding gift shop. There is also an active community theater […] that features local talent that rivals any local productions we have seen. This is a great stop for a family or a business traveler who has time to invest to see how Rocky Mount survived the flood that wiped out its are program about ten years ago. The Hampton should really "push" this Centre because it's a real compliment to the whole city of Rocky Mount. Les mer

This hotel must have been pretty nice 20 years ago. Now, the carpets are thread-bare, and the kitchenette faucet and fridge were broken. Still, it was clean and comfortable. The three housekeeping staff we spoke with during our stay were very nice and competent. The front desk person who checked us out was the picture of professionalism. But what stands […] out in my mind is the woman who checked us in. She was obviously racist and not very bright. This was upsetting to watch and frustrating to work with. The stay was not a bad experience over-all, but I've stayed at nicer places in the same area at a similar price. Next time I visit Rocky Mount, I will go there instead. Les mer

Hampton Inn never disappoints. Love the microwave and fridge in each room. The breakfast was good and had many choices. Beds are very comfortable. Front desk staff very accomodating. I asked if there was bottle water for sale anywhere and was given two ice cold bottle to take to my room. Nice touch and very appreciated.

The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well kept. We always stay at this location when we are in the area. We have never been disappointed in the quality of service or amenities.

We stayed here when we were evacuated from the Outer Banks because of Hurricane Irene. We loved the daily breakfast (even during the storm!) with all-day coffee, and the large fridge and microwave saved us when we were stuck in the room while the storm raged. The hotel maintained power with only 2 short outages (probably due to the fact that it is across […] from a very large hospital). The pool was warm (the one day we could swim, before the storm hit) and the area around it well landscaped with nice furniture. There are some good places to eat nearby as well. We visited a nice art center and kids museum nearby. Comfortable beds and very quiet inside the rooms. A great little hotel very convenient to highways 95 and 64. Les mer

Hotel was OK. Breakfast buffet was very good. The room we had was small for our family. 2 kids & 2 adults. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express across the highway and had a much nicer room 2 weeks prior. Rooms were larger, beds larger and overall everything was much newer. Hampton Inn was OK & Holiday Inn express was great. (Downside at Holiday Inn […] is that breakfast is not included.) Both about same price. Used this as transition point for NJ - FL stopover. Excellent, caring staff. They had a huge turnover of rooms the night before, so we had to wait a little after check-in time, but they brought the keys to us as soon as the rooms were ready while we hung out at the pool.

My wife and I love traveling from florida to ny. We always look forward to staying in hampton inns. We expected it to be perfect and it was. It's great being able to use the top comforter on a hotel bed. Friendly and helpful staff. We highly recommend it.

The hotel was fine but our room was on second floor and there was trouble with the elevator. We had to take belongings in and out of car three times before we finally got up to our room.

Staff where polite, friendly, informed and helpful. Hotel was clean and secure. I was there for a family reunion that had most of it's events at another hotel (what a mistake that was!), but there appeared to be a reunion groups there, and it felt very homie and comfortable. "Dirty Shower"
Everything was great about this hotel except for the disgusting shower. There was mold growing in all four corners as well as around the drain and the shower head.

The room was clean. The pool was clean. Bed was comfy. Hot tub was not hot and the jeats would not work. Wasnt ther long enough to tell the staff. I am sure they would have fixed it. Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Ann B (Florida)

"Great place to stay!"
The location is great and the hotel was clean. The staff was great and the breakfast was good. Only issue was that the shower was not same condition as the rest of the room. It had rust on the drain and faucets, but it was clean so no problem.

Beautiful hotel in a nice quiet area. Very impressed with the pool, basketball and volleyball court; definitely plan on including this hotel in future travels.

This was a very busy hotel for my stay and because of this, quite noisy. The room I was staying in was on the first floor next to a banquet room. Apparently the banquet room was booked for a wedding party and there was crowd noise, music and commotion right outside my room door that lasted for a while starting at midnight. I mentioned this to the […] front desk personnel upon check out and was compensated with a $25 gas card. "The Hampton Inn in Rocky Mount located off route 6"
is conviently located off of I-95. It is quiet, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast in morning was hot quick and delicious. Then we could be on the road to our destination. We have stayed here before and will stay there again.

Unique and handy during the Holiday season to have handcrafted jewelry by Blue Moon Gems displayed and for sale in the foyer of the hotel. I understand that Sharon is local and displays here during the holidays. Very nice for me to be able to pick up a beautiful gift for my wife without having to shop at the airport. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Am Abend gab es ein Gratis BBQ mit Steven. Es gab Gratis Hamburger Deluxe`und HotDOG´s mit Sauerkraut, Kartoffelsalat und dicken Bohnen. Sowie freie Getränke - Softdrinks, Bier und Wein. Zum Abschluss selbstgemachten Schokoladenkuchen. Das ganze fand bei herrlichem Wetter am Pool statt. Das Hotel war insgesamt […] gut.
