We had a great stay and the staff were extra friendly and helpful. We didn't like the open sink area, personal choice.
Making it up the stairs to get to our hotel room with 3 kids and about 9 bags was a challenge without an elevator. When we got to our room, we discovered our phone wasn't working. The two double beds seemed smaller than usual. We trekked down to the desk to ask for a cot, which was brought up immediately. The only problem was it looked about 30 years […] old, and the only place there was room for it, would have blocked our door. Employees were very nice and helpful, the pool was great for the kids, and they offered a good breakfast. We went out for supper and went to the movies without having to drive anywhere. "Hollywood Casino and Mall"
The only real disappointment was that the "heated" pool was very very cold. Also, the heat in the room had a really bad smell when turned on so we turned it off and it was kinda chilly .

"Good Place To Stay"
We have stayed here twice, overall it’s a pretty good motel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is close to the airport and highway. The indoor pool is great, but lacked swipe card access which could lead to small children entering and poses a safety risk. Also we could clearly hear the conversation going on in the next room. "Well worth the money"
A great stay followed by a pleasurable continental breakfast. I will most definitely stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

We always choose this hotel as it is clean and comfortable. It is not a fancy Hilton but it is fresh bedding and drapes, clean pool and a great price. ONLY thing is as of May 2012 they will no longer accept pets so we will no longer be going there. Wish they would not change this policy... Booooo

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the bed very confortable and the breakfast completely satisfactory. We stayed for two nights and would highly recommend this Motel to anyone we know who may be travelling to Bangor.

"One day at Days Inn"
The room was spacious and clean. The pool was warm, but shallow and narrow. Breakfast was mostly carbs of one sort or another, but there was plenty of yogurt, bananas, and oranges, and the in-room coffee was surprisingly good. The Ground Round restaurant next door was decent and reasonably priced, with a sports bar on one side and a quiet dining room […] on the other, and other restaurants were nearby. Another plus - it was quiet. Overall, good value for the money. Les mer
"Great hotel - thin walls"
We liked our stay. At first we were concerned. The walls are thin and we could hear full conversations in the hall and next room. In the end it was a quiet restful night, we even slept in. Would stay here again for sure.

"Days Inn, Bangor Maine"
We were quite comfortable in this hotel. We used it because we wanted to leave our car there and fly to Florida for 25 days. The hotel handled this very well. The only complaint.... we had been told to call the hotel using a "courtesy phone" at the airport upon our return from Florida, so that they could send a shuttle for us. We could find no such […] "courtesy phone" to successfully call the Days inn. We had to ask a rental car associate to call them for us. Les mer

was very noisy most of the nite due to the hockey players for the tournament running wild and no discipline, thought the hotel staff might crack down on them but no such luck

Old, musky and definitely not worth the price. I will not stay in this Hotel again. I recommend the Holiday Inn just up the road a far nicer and cleaner hotel.

This hotel is not worth the money. It is a two star at best and because we booked on line they would not accommodate a room change. I would not recommend this hotel. We stayed at the holiday inn a coue of weeks before and it was a far better more modern and comfortable hotel.

We stayed from Nov 10th -13th for our annual shopping trip. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, staff was so friendly and ready to help with anything, complimenmtary breakfast was very good and Tim's is just dow the road which doesn't hurt, either. Very pleased with this hotel and hope we are lucky enough to get a room there next year!

My Familay and I recently stayed 2 nights at the Days Inn while on a shopping trip. Although located very near to the airport, we had a very quiet and comfortable stay at this hotel. The lady at the front desk was exceptional, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The continental breakfast was "ok" staff had […] to be reminded to refill the hot water, milk etc, otherise it was average. We would absolutely stay here again, and would also recommend the Ground Round restaurand located directly within the days inn parking lot!! Food and service there was also great. Les mer

i was happy with the hotel except we stayed for 3 nights , but on sat our beds were not make they didnt restock our room with coffee or toilet supplies. sat night it was noisy due to the bar next door other then these things we had a great time

Excellent staff and service. Rooms were somewhat musty until A/C engaged for a few hours. A little more attention needed for cleanliness under the bed as an intimate female clothing article was found when bed moved to plug something in. This hotel was clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the fron desk was genuine and courteous to us. He recomennded the restaurant next door for supper and it was great. I have nothing derogitory to say about this hotel or our stay. I would recomennd it to anyone.

"5 Ladies Shopping Trip"
We found that this hotel needs major updates and extra cleaning - our room smelled musty when we went in but the service desk gave a spray to the people across the hall which he graciously sprayed our floors -(this helped) It didn't appear the cleaning staff vacuumed where the wall and floor met (very dusty). We didn't like that the sink was outside […] the washroom. Finally we felt the breakfast area must have been an after thought as it appeared to be a long hall with tables. All of this being said - the people that work there were very accommodating and personable. Les mer
"A decent 2* with a few extras"
A nice little pool for the kids, an included continental breakfast, a restaurant on the property, and being close to the interstate make this a decent place for family travelers. It is very close to the airport, so convenient for those flying out of Bangor. Surprisingly, the noise levels weren't that bad. Cleanliness could have been a bit better, though […] we've stayed in 3-4*'ers that were no better in this regard. Front desk staff were very friendly and responsive. "Days Inn Bangor"
We booked this hotel as an overnighter on our way to and from another destination. My only complaints are that the rooms have a very "musty" odor so if you are at all scent sensitive, this is not the hotel for you! The breakfast was not up to par with other hotels we have stayed at in the area. Otherwise for the price it was not that bad.
"Close to everything, a must stay"
Stayed here on night on a road trip. Was comfortable and had a very friendly staff. Was directly next to an airport runway but the building is sound proofed because I heard a slight noise only to open the window and see a large Air Force plane landing. Totally surprised, was a great stay.

I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel and the size of the room. When I booked the room I noticed the hotel only had 2 stars but it has to be because of the location, nothing more. The staff was superior in attentiveness and friendliness. The room was big, comfortable and spotless.
Right off the main Rd. but close to a loud bar. (Lots of music till early in the morning). We got what we paid for so was happy. I'd recommend to anyone.

This place was very nice. It was a good size room with good amenities. Things seemed pretty new and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is about some of the people staying there. There were many people smoking at the side entrance and they obviously did not acre about lighting up their cigarettes inside as there was cigarette ash everywhere […] on the carpet. "helpful"
we were stuck overnight in bangor and obviously didn't want to rent a car. we arrived late enough that their limo service was off so days inn paid for a cab to get us and take us there. the limo brought us to the airport in the morning. downside: No elevators or disability access that we could see. otherwise a very nice place
