Hadde et veldig trivelig opphold. Generelt godt fornøyd med hotellet som hadde et flott badeannlegg. Også positivt at det gikk gratis buss til The Strip hver halvtime. Turen tok kun 15 min. På den negativ side må det sies at det ikke var rengjøring eller bytte av håndklær hver dag som på vanlige hotell (1g på 7 dg), men man kunne ringe og få rene håndklær i løpet av dagen. I tillegg var det stusselig hvis man var uheldig og trakk det korteste strået og måtte ligge på sovesofaen. Den var ikke god å ligge på, og ødela veldig mye på helhetsinntrykket av et ellers supert hotell. Gjør også oppmerksom på et ekstra gebyr pr dag som kommer i tillegg til alt annet.

Rent, pent hotell (laminat på gulvet og ikke teppe!), helt greie rom, raske heiser. Fordums 50-talls storhet med Flamingoer i bakhagen. Enkelt, greit og billig hotell. Det er dessuten ikke så stort, så du bruker ikke lang tid fra resepsjonen og opp til rommet (andre hotell kan det jo ta 10 minutter).

Hadde rom med utsikt til fontenen, og kunne skru på tv-kanal for å høre musikken på rommet. Morsomt, men fontenen er flottest fra bakkenivå. Bra rom, men virket litt gammeldags. Hyggelig betjening og positiv service. Fikk aldri med oss buffeten pga lang kø, men det finnes flere hyggelige og bra spisesteder på hotellet. Alt i alt; Deilig luksusfølelse til en hyggelig pris.

Kjempefint hotell, lite butikker på selve hotellet, mange av se store hotella her har egen handlegater. Ellers var det et passelig stort casino. Vi brukte litt tid på de andre hotella også, for å få sett mest mulig. Stort minus at det er lov å røyke inne, så selv om de har røykfrie rom, så er det en ein av røyk i casinolokalet og restaurantene. Men sånn var det på de andre hotella vi var på også! Veldig kult at hotellet ser ut som en del av Paris, alt fra gulv til tak (himmelen), eiffeltårnet og triumfbuen, lyktestolper og skilt, og fasader inne. Hotellet er greit som utgangspunkt for Vegas, det ligger midt i sentrum, men om man vil ha alt på ett sted er nok andre hotell mer passende.

Hotellene på The Strip har stort sett god kvalitet. Vi valgte akkurat dette hotellet fordi prisen var god og fordi det ligger midt på the Strip (har bodd på andre hoteller i utkanten av The Strip tidligere - og da har det blitt mer trasking). Hotellet er bra, og har ingen problemer med å anbefale dette, selv om jeg ikke er sikker på at vi velger det neste gang (er mange bra hoteller i området). Veldig fin utsikt fra de rommene vi fikk :-)

"Great hotel"
We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We got an extremely good price, the rooms and beds were very comfortable. The view was of course amazing and the prices in the bars most reasonable. Definately recommended.

"Cheaper Hotel fees. More expensive cab fare."
Hotel was clean, not much to complain about overall if you're just looking for something simple. Be forewarned, if you're planning on trying to save money by staying at this hotel you will end up paying more for the cab fare ($35 from airport to this hotel) as the Stratosphere is at the very north end of the strip; All the main attractions are at the […] south end. Seeing as how "Lost Wages" is not a cheap place to stay it would be in your best interest to calculate the cost of staying here to see if it is worth it. FYI: Daily pass for bus is $7/day/person. The bus runs every 10 minutes 24/7 on the strip. Other than that, no real complaints with the hotel. Having the sink outside of the bathroom was a little odd, but not a big deal. Les mer

"The Tower"
My overall stay at the hotel was good, the one thing it needs improvement on it is the buffet.

My stay was excellent and I really enjoyed the hotel and casino. The staff was professional and friendly. My only negative comment is that it was to far to the north side of the strip so had to take a cab to go to any other casinos/attractions.

The check-in lady was miserable and matter of fact, not helpful, was treated just like a number, no customer service, no smile, no thanks for spending your money in our hotel. There was a chargeif you wanted internet access even though we had just come from the Arizona Dessert where tiny motels were offering it for free, no tea/coffee facilities no […] fridge to keep cold drinks in. Went up the tower and as hotel guests we go for free BUT had to queue for over 30mins with paying guests, treated like cattle market animals, sent to the wrong floor for drinks, waited ages for lifts in and out, they had a private party in the restaurant so the best view was not avaliable to us or paying guests. I am sure they were happy about that - not!!!! Couldn't wait to leave............... Best bit about the hotel except for leaving was the consierge guys, they were very helpful just wished they smiled even if it was fake. Wish we had saved our money and stayed in the Super 8 Motel instead Les mer

"great place."
it's a very nice place to stay for pretty cheap! there are quite a few stores to go through, tons of very yummy places to eat and you can take the elevators to the top of the tower and overlook the valley. the casino is the least smelly casino i've ever been in.

I wasn't very pleased overall with my stay at the Stratosphere and neither were the other 10 guest that were in my group. The hotel is in a very dangerous area of Las Vegas according to many of the locals. The deluxe rooms are extremely out-dated, but I was pleased with housekeeping efforts. Most of the hotel employees were very pleasant, however the […] registration desk employees may need more classes in good customer service. Many, including myself, found some of them to be quite rude. The restaurants/ lounges and other amenities were enjoyable. The wedding chapel was beautiful and help to make the Stratosphere experience more pleasant. I would recommend the wedding chapel here, but I would not recommend staying in the deluxe rooms. If you don't plan on being in your room very much, I guess it is ok to stay in the deluxe room; just stay alert and on the strip. Les mer

"A hotel for smokers only"
The hotel was a little tired, it's away from where all the action happens in Vegas... the room was reasonable, comfortable bed, clean, and seemed to be partly renovated. I could have lived with this place if it weren't for the constant flow of cigarette smoke throughout the entire place. Off the main part of the strip so you have to make arrangements if you want to spend time at the other big hotels/casinos. Stratosphere was very cool and nice that's included in room rate. Resort fees were pretty low, 7.50 a day, only charged per room for us even though I think it says per person. "room needs sound proofing and tub was dirty"
The tub was dirty, with a ring around the lower part of it. I had to clean it so my girlfriend could take a bath. Also, the door does not close tightly so it rattles every time some other guest opens their door. Also the walls need sound proofing!

Staying at the Motel 6 would have been better. The toilet was loud, there wasn't a slip free matt in the tub, the whole bathroom was smaller than a closet, the sink was next […] to the bed, the window was two feet wide and the ac unit was loud, but it helped muffle the people next to us and the people out in the hall. There was about an inch gap beneath the door. Then I called the front desk for a mini fridge for my diabetic husband's medicine and was told it would cost more money to rent one per day. Enjoyed the view at the top of the Stratosphere. It was adifferent perspecctive on the city. Would recommend it to friends as an experience to have and would stay there again.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were able to get on the bus right outside our hotel. Friendly staff. Ate at the "Top of the World", spendy but on vacation and don't splurge often :) Beautiful view, excellent food & service (I believe our waiter was Eric). great service and room service when I needed extra towels were on it very quickly and the top of the tower was very fun. When youre a guest you get unlimited trips up there. I liked it also it wasnt in the middle of all the crowds on the strip. Also the smoke in the casino area was very well filtered

Could not wait to get out of there. The Bath tub was visibly dirty when I first came in. I had to call service, and they took their time getting there, but once there, gave it all about 10 seconds of wiping the tub and left. The bed, while large wasn't very comfortable (way too hard). Stratosphere was a very comfortable hotel to stay while in Las Vegas, the accommodations were quite nicely packaged and the employees were all very helpful with any queries. I highly recommended this hotel to all who want a clean and classy place to stay.

I stayed here with some friends. The price was so good we all got individual rooms. The place is great, very comfortable. I enjoyed. North of the main strip but close to the mono rail. Good spot for getting to Fremont st. in a cab. I would stay here again.
"Worth the money"
Nice clean room with comfortable bed. TV worked perfectly and the shower was nice. Even though you get a reasonable rate, other micro fees can add up as you have to pay mandatory resort fee as an example and if you would like wifi, that will be another 12 per day.
