This hotel is actually a Best Western so we passed it twice before we found it. The rooms are VERY small, but I suppose most rooms in Venice are small. The location is great, just over 1 small bridge from Piazza San Marco. We loved the view of the canal from the restaurant! *Breakfast is not included, but you can add it on for only $7.50 Euro per person […] (a bargain once you see prices outside the hotel). Les mer

The hotel was very close to the wate taxi stop at San Marco. The hotel was accessible off San Marco square. We found the room adequate, clean and bathroom modern. Bedroom small, but clean, and we had a balcony off of it that was nice to sit on after walking all day. Everything was in walking distance. Gondola parking was on one side of the hotel where […] the dining room was (btw hotel and Hard Rock rest) and fun to watch while having buffet breakfast. Breakfast buffet was reasonable and everything kept fresh and replenished. Front desk very helpful and made good recommendation for restaurant that served local food and reasonably priced. Amazingly cute little hotel, in the heart of Venice, with great room, friendly service, and cute little entrance/balcony that looks over the canal with gondolas. Highly recomended.

Excellent location in Venice, gondolas station right outside of the hotel which provide excellent photo opps. Breakfast was excellent, ample of food to choose from. Saudi the bell hop gave us excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

The best thing about this hotel was the location - right on the corner of San Marco overlooking a gondola dock. You'll probably pay more for a room with a veiw, but who cares - the minute you step outside the hotel you're in a great location. The hotel facility was nice - nothing spectacular, but clean with an efficient staff.

For the quoted rate per night without breakfast, i would either save your money and and go to proper 4 star / 5 start hotel. Teh Hotel is a privately owned best western, that is something that should be highlighted before people book, had i known i would not have booked. It is very worn, in need of a make over, it is more like a 2.5 star than a 4 star. […] The first room they showed us was literally like a yellow box, terrible. We got moved the room was more acceptable but still not a 4*. Also the view was a brick wall - no view. On the plus side, the locaiton was great, once you left the hotel you are right by hard rock cafe (funny for venice), on the canal, and 2 mins for St Marks Sq. My advice either spend a little more and stay at a different hotel, or spend the minimal amount of time in this one. Les mer

Located within a very short walk to all the major sights of St. Marks's Square and accessible by private water taxi - which I highly recommend if you are trying to manage luggage. The hotel is located right off the Piazza San Marco, a very easy find. It was clean and the staff were very nice. However, the room was a bit small, but clean.

The hotel was very clean & had a nice bar area off the lobby. The location couldn't be better in relation to attractions you want to see.The rooms here are on the small side but the bathrooms are updated & adequate.

A little hard to find the first time, but the hotel was literally right outside San Marcos Square and we walked everywhere!. Tip-if you take a water bus to San Marcos Square, enter the square and go to the far and ( away from the basilica) almost at the end, there is a little alleyway with two arches on your right (with your back to the basilica) go […] through the left arch and you are there...wish someone would have tond us it was that easy! We walked in a few circles before someone helped us! Room was small but what I expected in Europe. It was clean and comfortable. The shower is tiny! I am 5 month pregnant ad if I had been any bigger I may have gotten stuck in there! lol. Breakfast was good, nice variety and good fresh fruit. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful...except the one night we invited some friends who were staying at a different hotel to come up to see our room, the staff gave them the cold shoulder as if to say " if you don't stay here, we will be rude to you!" Great location next to St. Mark's square. We had a spacious twin room at top of hotel. Very quiet so a good night's sleep. Help yourself breakfast with view over gondola basin.

A very good choice. over looking the gondola park if you have canal view. great entertainment people watching from our room.lovely hotel just off st mark square. Clean roomand tidy hotel, nice staff breakfast ok.

IN THE CENTER OF VENICE BY THE SQ TRIPS ON THE WATER GREAT JUST OUT SIDE FRONT DOOR. BED ROOM NOT BIG , BATHROOM OK GOOD SIZE. OVERALL GREAT PLACE TO STAY.

It was our first time in Venice and we did not know what to expect. The staff was very helpful and the location was great. It is about a 45 second walk to San Marco Square. We had a view of the canal from our room which was an unexpected suprise. The room was small, but that was what we expected. Location, Location, Location! right in the heart of St. Marcos Square. Water Taxi can drop off and pick you up right at the hotel entrance (provided that it is low tide).

I had stayed at the hotel before so I knew it was well situated and comfortable. Since I last stayed there the hotel had changed to a Best Western. The rooms were much smaller than I remembered. The staff at the reception desk were not welcoming and were unhelpful. The staff in the dining room however were very pleasant. Fantastic location , but the rooms are very " tired " and in need of updating but only minutes from St marks Square so enjoyed our night there

The bed was as hard as a rock. They needed to elevate the head of the bed because it is sloping downhill. We had to put the pillows at the foot of the bed so we could sleep.

Perfect Location ,few step to St.Mark -Our room right on a canal - access to the Gandoles and facing Hard Rock caffee. Room is well decorated and clean bath but small same as all others in Venice . Breakfast is good -nice staff. You find all you need.

We picked this hotel because we were only in Venice for one day and wanted to be close to St. Marco Piazza.. which its very close to. So, that was nice. Otherwise room was really pretty small, probably worst overall hotel I've stayed in Europe. But, location made up for it. IF you're in Venice for a while, I'd go somewhere else. Hôtel très bien situé, à coté de la place Saint Marc, ce qui permet de profiter des musées, des cafés, des restaurants sans avoir à faire des déplacements importants. Le personnel est agréable, les petits déjeuners copieux. Un hôtel dans lequel nous retournerons volontiers. Le seul bémol est que l'ascenseur est un peu bruyant.

Davvero eccezionale la posizione del Cavalletto, a 10 metri da piazza San Marco, appena attraversato un ponticello con vista su uno degli angoli più suggestivi dei canali veneziani. A chi pensa, inoltre, di trovare al centro di Venezia alberghi vecchieggianti ed umidi, dico che ci appare esattamente il contrario: io mi soffermo sempre sulle condizioni […] dei servizi igienici e devo ammettere che erano impeccabili. Es ist eine Frage der Erwartungen - unsere wurde nicht erfüllt, denn wir hatten die Fotos der Zimmer im Internet vor Augen haben aber einfach eingerichtete Zimmer bekommen. Das Zimmer unserer Kinder auf die Straße hinaus war so klein, dass man kaum beim Bett vorbei ins Bad gehen konnte und unseres mit Kanalblick (und teurer Aufzahlung) war ebenso billig […] eingerichtet und hatte nicht einmal Vorhänge (nur Stores) - und ich hatte das Hotel vornehmlich wegen der prächtigen venezianisch eingerichteten Zimmer gewählt... dumm gelaufen Les mer

Memorable stay there with my girlfriend. Just next to St. Marco and all the shopping boutiques in Venice. Put me into a superior room with canal view and overlooking Hard Rock Cafe. We had champagne on the balcony and it's just so relaxing. Room a bit small and the bathroom not spacious but that's typical for hotels in Europe.

das Hotel war m.E. gut belegt.Obwohl eher hochpreisig, waren die uns gegenüberliegenden Zimmer mit ca 10 Jugendlichen ( Schüler oder Azubis) belegt, die in der 1.Nacht erst nach meiner deutlichen Ermahnung gegen 1 Uhr morgends Ruhe gaben.Eine nachfolgende Beschwerde bei der Rezeption zeigte positive Wirkung für die Folgezeit.Das Personal an der Rezeption […] war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hotellet ligger lige ud til Bacino Orseolo, holdeplads for et stort antal gondoler. Man kan således fra hotellets små verandaer i forbindelse med baren nyde en drink mens man følger, hvor dygtigt gondolerne håndteres. Supergodt!

Hotel muito bem localizado, fácil acesso aos pontos mais importantes de Veneza! O quarto para 3 pessoas não é muito bom, pois a terceira cama é uma adaptação, com aquelas camas removíveis, que não são muito confortáveis... A Internet wireless não é de graça, mas eles possuem um computador com acesso a Internet que pode ser usado por todos. Café da manhã […] e hospitalidade muito bons! Recomendo! Les mer

La chambre que j'ai reservé était tres petite et mal insonorisée. Le lit est tres petit pour 2 personnes. Ce qui n'est pas du niveau d'un 4 etoiles. En fait, cet hotel 4 etoiles est compose de 3 immeubles et les chambres sont differentes dans chaque partie de l'hotel ce qui veut dire à differents tarifs et donc differentes prestations. Le tarif affiché […] en chambre était de 100 euros. Sinon la salle de bain est grande et la chambre tres propre. L'hotel est situé à 100m de la place Saint Marc en face du hard rock café et d'une station de gondoles, ce qui est un peu bruyant en journée. Les mer

L'hotel è ubicato in una posizione fantastica quasi affacciato a piazza san marco, ma l'hotel è molto vecchio e le camere sono alcune molto belle, ma altre veramente brutte! Noi eravamo in 4 persone e abbiamo preso 2 camere, una camera era molto spaziosa e accogliente, un'altra era piccolissima, sporca e brutta!! Di certo non è un hotel 4 stelle, forse […] 3 a dire tanto!! Il personale non è molto accogliente... Niente d che, lo consiglierei per la posizione per altro assolutamente no!! Les mer

Lugnt hotell några steg från Marcusplatsen, fungerande air condition, nyrenoverat badrum och bra service.

Ligger mycket bra i Venedig. Alldeles intill Marcusplatsen men i den lugnare ändan av torget. Nära till resturanger och båthamn vilket är praktiskt i Venedig. Mysigt läge vid en gondolhamn utanför fönstret. Hotellet lever kanske inte riktigt upp till sina fyra stjärnor jämfört med svensk standard men jag skulle gärna välja hotellet igen om jag återkommer […] till Venedig. Frukosten var ok, inte jättestort utbud men fullt tillräckligt. Personalen kan upplevas lite disträ men var hjälpsam med allt vi undrade över. Les mer

San Marco meydanının hemen dibinde olduğu için otelin konumu mükemmeldi. kanal tarafındaki odaların manzarası gondollara baktığı için çok keyifliydi. Ancak 4 yıldızlı bir otel için odaları ve kahvaltı salonu çok küçük ve sıkışıktı.

Bra läge, men aboslut inte en lyx hotel, I bästa fall en något under medel.
