Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på et flott hotell i Venezia. Betjeningen er meget hyggelig og hjelpsom, både i resepsjon, bar og restaurant. Hotellet hadde egen pc med mulighet til å gå inn på internett og printe ut nødvendig papirmateriale om dette behøvdes. En god og innholdrik frokostbuffet, og et praktfullt rom med utsikt til kanalen. Meget bra.

Great 3 star hotel. Paid extra for canal view room, ended up first night in an alley building. No excuse or compensation, got our next 2 nights with great view! Great location but do your homework before you arrive, as there are no tourist info/brochures etc at the hotel!

Veldig dårlig aircontition, hotellet ville fått topp rating hvis de ikke skulle spare penger på noe så tullete.

Hotellet er pent utvendig. De ansatte yter god service. Innvendig er deler av hotellet mye mer slitt enn bildene tilsier. Dusjstrålen var så ubehagelig at vi måtte dusje med svært lite vann. Ved hjelp av en neglefil, fikk vi åpnet alle hullene i dusjhodet som var tette, så dusjen på rom 401 er nå i topp stand! Dessuten står det 4 stjerner i en del reklamemateriell, mens det i virkeligheten har 3...

The hotel was perfectly located. The hotel was nice, clean and I would stay there again if we were in Venice. We had 2 rooms, one for our 3 teenagers and one for us. It was quiet at night so we got a good night's sleep yet we were near the city center.

This hotel was located in a great spot...we were walking distance from St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). The hotel was clean and the rooms were a good size. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful with all of our check in needs.

Small rooms tend to be the rule in the areas near St Marks, but the room was fine with a good bathroom, good lighting, and fine service. Breakfast fine and reasonably priced by European standards. Some nice views of main gondola area. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and does not push tourist service. Instead, helps you find local restaurants and walks to sights. Only a block and half from the main square. Can move luggage relatively easily from the boat stop, and easy walk to bridges and all the main tourist sites.

This hotel is actually a Best Western so we passed it twice before we found it. The rooms are VERY small, but I suppose most rooms in Venice are small. The location is great, just over 1 small bridge from Piazza San Marco. We loved the view of the canal from the restaurant! *Breakfast is not included, but you can add it on for only $7.50 Euro per person (a bargain once you see prices outside the hotel).

The hotel was very close to the wate taxi stop at San Marco. The hotel was accessible off San Marco square. We found the room adequate, clean and bathroom modern. Bedroom small, but clean, and we had a balcony off of it that was nice to sit on after walking all day. Everything was in walking distance. Gondola parking was on one side of the hotel where the dining room was (btw hotel and Hard Rock rest) and fun to watch while having buffet breakfast. Breakfast buffet was reasonable and everything kept fresh and replenished. Front desk very helpful and made good recommendation for restaurant that served local food and reasonably priced. Only complaint is that the bed was very hard.

Amazingly cute little hotel, in the heart of Venice, with great room, friendly service, and cute little entrance/balcony that looks over the canal with gondolas. Highly recomended.

Excellent location in Venice, gondolas station right outside of the hotel which provide excellent photo opps. Breakfast was excellent, ample of food to choose from. Saudi the bell hop gave us excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

The best thing about this hotel was the location - right on the corner of San Marco overlooking a gondola dock. You'll probably pay more for a room with a veiw, but who cares - the minute you step outside the hotel you're in a great location. The hotel facility was nice - nothing spectacular, but clean with an efficient staff.

For the quoted rate per night without breakfast, i would either save your money and and go to proper 4 star / 5 start hotel. Teh Hotel is a privately owned best western, that is something that should be highlighted before people book, had i known i would not have booked. It is very worn, in need of a make over, it is more like a 2.5 star than a 4 star. The first room they showed us was literally like a yellow box, terrible. We got moved the room was more acceptable but still not a 4*. Also the view was a brick wall - no view. On the plus side, the locaiton was great, once you left the hotel you are right by hard rock cafe (funny for venice), on the canal, and 2 mins for St Marks Sq. My advice either spend a little more and stay at a different hotel, or spend the minimal amount of time in this one.

Located within a very short walk to all the major sights of St. Marks's Square and accessible by private water taxi - which I highly recommend if you are trying to manage luggage. The hotel is clean with nicely appointed common areas. The staff were very courteous. Breakfast food was plentiful and good. The room itself is quite small and cramped but the bathroom is clean and very adequate.

The hotel is located right off the Piazza San Marco, a very easy find. It was clean and the staff were very nice. However, the room was a bit small, but clean.

The hotel was very clean & had a nice bar area off the lobby. The location couldn't be better in relation to attractions you want to see.The rooms here are on the small side but the bathrooms are updated & adequate.

A little hard to find the first time, but the hotel was literally right outside San Marcos Square and we walked everywhere!. Tip-if you take a water bus to San Marcos Square, enter the square and go to the far and ( away from the basilica) almost at the end, there is a little alleyway with two arches on your right (with your back to the basilica) go through the left arch and you are there...wish someone would have tond us it was that easy! We walked in a few circles before someone helped us! Room was small but what I expected in Europe. It was clean and comfortable. The shower is tiny! I am 5 month pregnant ad if I had been any bigger I may have gotten stuck in there! lol. Breakfast was good, nice variety and good fresh fruit. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful...except the one night we invited some friends who were staying at a different hotel to come up to see our room, the staff gave them the cold shoulder as if to say " if you don't stay here, we will be rude to you!" Oh well, there were nice to us! I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here agian.

Great location next to St. Mark's square. We had a spacious twin room at top of hotel. Very quiet so a good night's sleep. Help yourself breakfast with view over gondola basin.

A very good choice. over looking the gondola park if you have canal view. great entertainment people watching from our room.lovely hotel just off st mark square. Clean roomand tidy hotel, nice staff breakfast ok.

IN THE CENTER OF VENICE BY THE SQ TRIPS ON THE WATER GREAT JUST OUT SIDE FRONT DOOR. BED ROOM NOT BIG , BATHROOM OK GOOD SIZE. OVERALL GREAT PLACE TO STAY.

It was our first time in Venice and we did not know what to expect. The staff was very helpful and the location was great. It is about a 45 second walk to San Marco Square. We had a view of the canal from our room which was an unexpected suprise. The room was small, but that was what we expected. Overall, we thought the combincation of the service, location and condition of the hotel made our stay in Venice extremely nice.

Location, Location, Location! right in the heart of St. Marcos Square. Water Taxi can drop off and pick you up right at the hotel entrance (provided that it is low tide).

I had stayed at the hotel before so I knew it was well situated and comfortable. Since I last stayed there the hotel had changed to a Best Western. The rooms were much smaller than I remembered. The staff at the reception desk were not welcoming and were unhelpful. The staff in the dining room however were very pleasant. I would stay there again since the position of the hotel is wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the gondolas go by it was magic!

Fantastic location , but the rooms are very " tired " and in need of updating but only minutes from St marks Square so enjoyed our night there

The bed was as hard as a rock. They needed to elevate the head of the bed because it is sloping downhill. We had to put the pillows at the foot of the bed so we could sleep.

Perfect Location ,few step to St.Mark -Our room right on a canal - access to the Gandoles and facing Hard Rock caffee. Room is well decorated and clean bath but small same as all others in Venice . Breakfast is good -nice staff. You find all you need.

We picked this hotel because we were only in Venice for one day and wanted to be close to St. Marco Piazza.. which its very close to. So, that was nice. Otherwise room was really pretty small, probably worst overall hotel I've stayed in Europe. But, location made up for it. IF you're in Venice for a while, I'd go somewhere else. But, if you want to be close to the sights.. this isn't too bad a place.

The accomodations were excellent the location was perfect. The staff members were great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Easy to find for first timers to Venice. Room small but OK. Breakfast is big plus for this hotel as we found eating out pretty expensive and variable quality and found we didn't need to stop for lunch after tucking in at breakfast time! Bar very expensive. Hotel were happy to store our luggage after checking out.

Very nice hotel conveniently located just steps from San Marco square. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable and the bar tender made a great (although expensive) cocktail. We were able to take a gondola right from the door of the hotel. The only problem was that due to an airline problem we had to leave a day earlier than planned and we could not get a refund for our last night's stay even though hotels.com guarantees this. I will not use hotels.com again because of this. As you can imagine this increased our price per night immensely.

We loved the location of the hotel right off Piazza San Marco and on a canal. The water taxi came right to the steps off the reception area which was an added bonus for our departure. Our room, though on the small side, was charming. The bathroom was totally modern with heated floor, and heated towel racks. The staff was professional and courteous.

Wonderful stay and great location right next to St. Mark square,so you can walk at any moment to there.Definitely I will stay again and recomend to my friends!!!

We were steps away from St. Marks Square so it was very convenient to everything. The water taxis picked us up at our hotel to take us to the airport. Did not have to handle our suitcases ourselves. The gondolas were parked along side our hotel so we could see them. Very nice breakfast at the hotel. Would stay at this hotel again.

hotel was in great location by St Mark's square. We chose this hotel because of the convenience to the square and the water taxi can take or pick you up at the door. It was a bit pricey, but when you look at other hotels, price was not bad compared to some. Breakfast was adequate. They did offer a free ride to Murano Island, to the factory where they make some of the Murano glass. We would stay there again if we ever go back.

Great location in heart of San Marco, very friendly and helpful staff

Adjacent to St Mark's Square, reached through an archway at the North West end of the square within a few minutes walking distance of vaporettos (water bus transport) and the main sights of Venice. Watch the gondoliers in the water basin in front of the hotel getting organised for the day as you breakfast in the pleasant dining room. If you fancy a gondola trip nothing could be easier - step from the hotel reception area straight into the boat ! The helpful staff will also help with any other tours and excursions , not forgetting the numerous concerts available close by in the opera house and churches. The hotel is also within easy reach of the myriad of shops and restaurants in the San Marco district. My room was small but well furnished with a great bathroom.

Although great location the staff at this hotel is under the impression that they and not us are guests at this hotel. They are all snobs and sneer at the simplest of requests. We called down for extra pillows and we were told that there were none in the hotel and they hung up on us. We ordered a water taxi for the airport and they said they couldn't gaurantee that it would come and we were"foolish" to think that it would be on time. The rooms were closet sized and smelled musty. I would have gone to another hotel but did not want to take away time from my vacation to do so. Doge Orseleo ha ha ha go anywhere else but here!

This hotel is in the perfect spot to base yourself during your stay in Venice. Rooms are comfortable and clean and it really is a 2 minute walk to San Marco Piazza. Reception staff need a personality lesson but don't let this ruin your stay!
