Bra og hotell og perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til shopping, museum og uteliv. Rommene var litt små, men ok. Et lite minus var i vertfall med vårt rom at lydisolasjonen mot gaten ute var dårlig. God frokost! Vær oppmerksom at du må betale ca 5 % skatt når du sjekker ut!

It was my first time in Amsterdam,and alone.I use mutch time on trying to find a ok Hotell to ok price.After some time I order this Hotell with air tickets.Hotell is ca 40 min walking from central stations.You can also use Tramm 2 or 5..Stop 2 minute from Hotell.About this Hotell..The building is from 1800,very fine and nice!Its a 4 stars hotell.The […] people whoo work there is frendly and helpsome.I order Internett,brodband.10 euro fore 24 houers..And 32 megabit speed,awsome!Them have a nice bar.Breakfast.I travell alone fore first time in my life.And my rom was a singel rom..Wery ok.Big screen,bed,bath,radio,safe,a window to open to.My rom was 212.It was a nice rom fore me and my tour.Mini-bar to on the rom..I heard that rom in Amsterdam is very small.My rom was small but still good!When I leave I go 2 min from Hotell and take bus 197 straith to Shippol air-port.5 euro and so easy!I would stay here agein.I will come back nexst year or in 2-3 months..Same Hotell fore me!! Vi ble høflig og godt mottatt. Alle var hyggelig og hjelpsom, alle fra resepsjon, frokostrommet til renholdere og andre. Rommet var svært lite for å være et dobbeltværelse, men virket rent om enn litt overmøblert. Badet var lite men funksjonelt. Hotellet lå i en stille gate, nær shoppinggaten hvor de svært dyre butikkene lå og nær diamantmueumet og […] Coster Diamonds. Hyggelig hotell med god beliggenhet, men husk å be om et stille rom. Frokost var ikke inkludert og uforholdsmessig dyr. Spis derfor heller på en cafe.

Flott hotell, passe intimt, hyggelig personale. Beliggenhet midt i smørøyet, så bort på Rijksmuseum, i forhold til shopping, restauranter, trikk og museer. Stort rom. God frokost. Kort vei til Leidseplein. Nabogata til PC Hooftstraat med ubegrenset luksusshopping. 10 min. gåtur fra Cuypt-markedet.

Hadde vært fint om det ble opplyst om transport fra/til flyplass når vi bestilte hos dere. Vi ringte hotellet, og de kunne opplyse at buss nr 197 gikk fra flyplassen og stoppet like ved hotellet. Veldig praktisk. Vi kjøpte bl.a. billett til Keykenhof på hotellet. De burde vært flinkere til å fortelle om "varen" de solgte oss. Vi fikk besjed om hvor […] og når vi måtte møte, men at vi skulle betale cash på bussen. Vi løp rundt for å finne minibank. Så viste det seg at vi skullel gå inn på turistkontoret og betale der, kort eller cash, og vi ble fulgt derfra til bussen. Mange mennesker og mye styr gjorde at vi brukte tid her, men fant frem og ble med på tur som var en opplevelse!! Les mer

Bilderberg Hotel Jan Luyken var verdt hver krone. Et flott hotell med en perfekt beliggenhet. Hotellet var i virkeligheten finere enn hva man fikk intrykk av på nettet.

Hotellet hadde ypperlig beliggenhet - i et stille strøk, men allikevel i grei gangavstand til bysentrum. Her må det sies at jeg er glad i å gå, å oppleve en by til fots er en del av reiseopplevelsen for meg. Med Konsertgbebouw, van Gogh-museet og Rijksmuseum i umiddelbar nærhet, har man gode opplevelser rett rundt hjørnet. My wife and I stayed here in April 2013. We booked and pre paid thru Hotels.com. Conformation from Hotels.com said "all fees & taxes paid" when checking out we were told we owed another $100 for city taxes. They then charged our credit our card for that. Still fighting that. Room cost over $200/night. There is no breakfast as there is in many European […] hotels. I asked if there was coffee in the lobby. Lady at the desk said."Only the sun is free" Thanks for the sarcasm, sweety. We got free in-room wifi only because we paid for an upgraded room.Standard rooms pay extra for that. We asked about using the public hotel computer. Were told there is a $5 charge for each use. The only one available for the public is directly infront of the check-in desk where you must stand with your left shoulder actually touching the desk. Our friends had a standard room they had to keep their clothes on the floor. No storage.We tried to follow the custom posted in this hotel as in others of hanging up your towels each day if you wanted to reuse them. Good idea. The staff ignored that convention and just replaced every towel every day. Les mer

Great location and base for seeing the city. Hotel is basic but clean with very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel overall is good value for money.

Absolutely fabulous hotel with outstanding service. The location was brilliant for easy access to upmarket shops and great dining as well as just a 10 minute stroll to Leidensplein and the more touristy things to do. Staff were friendly and on hand 24/7 to help in any way possible. A real touch of class. Would highly recommend and will most definetly […] stay if ever in Amsterdam again. PS Lots of little extra touches for my husband's birthday to make everything just that bit more special but even without this would have been one of my better hotel choices. I enjoyed the hotel. It is conveniently located near many museums. The hotel is also near a Hop On Hop Off bus stop (#8) not far from a major Casino. Many streetcars and buses stop nearby and there are plenty of shops around the area. The building itself is beautiful and allowed me to sleep with the windows open. They offer coffee and tea, bars of soap, […] lotion, shampoo, and even a bathrobe with slippers. The breakfast costs $15 to $20 (Euro) and the bottled water costs $5, but there are plenty of places to dine outside of the hotel. A wonderful stay! Les mer

Stayed in double room for a change and worth the extra for the extra space (still a small room). Breakfast at 19.50 euros is overpriced with so many places to eat nearby. Within walking distance of museums, Leidsplein, Concertgebouw and PC Hoofenstraat.

Perfect Quiet Location close to the reason for my visit to Amsterdam - a concert at The Paradiso..... Which was a short walk away. But also centrally placed for tourist attractions

Nothing wrong with this quality hotel at all for us ...... but it is all subjective! It's not central, isn't buzzing with nightlife.... no disco in the basement or rowdies in the bar and is in a quiet neibourhood close to quality shops. I'd say it was on the edge (walking) of Amsterdam centre and half an hours walk from central station. Staff were friendly […] and courteous and hotel was very clean. Our room on the fifth floor was more than comfortable with adequate room for a couple on a long weekend break. Although we didn't eat in the hotel as we wanted different experiences so we can't comment on quality the price of breakfast was very competative with local cafes. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here on our next visit to Amsterdam. Les mer

Great little hotel on a quiet street, with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was lovely and cosy to come back to after a days sightseeing. Perfect location for museums, shops and restaurants and in a good neighbourhood. Ask for a room on a high floor and get great views over the rooftops. We were received with the grace and courtesy as expected from any hotel. The staff were polite and very thoughtful. They provided us with a map of the area and tickets could be bought at the hotel for museums and travel on the tram - which we made use of. This was our second stay at the Bilerberg Hotel. Unlike our first experience, the room they assigned to us on this occasion was very small. It was a corner room more suited for single occupation. Very limited closet space, very tiny bathroom, and although they furnished a desk and two chairs, no room to stretch out. My wife did enjoy the windows on […] two walls, however, so we remained without complaint. I would suggest before accepting a double room at this hotel to check it out. Les mer

I did not like the NO Free Internet and the charge for using the lobby computer and internet. You would think that would be free to get your plane flight information. No dinning room per say, more of a bar. Still I would say it is clean and a good hotel

Good location for the main museums and in a quiet road. i was in a room over the front door and this was very noisy at night with people retuning. the staff were very helpful and it is easy to access the rest of the city and there are several restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is located some distance from the city centre, but close to the Rijksmuseum, the Concertgebouw and the starting point for canal tours. It is in a quiet street, and a tram stop is not far away. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the checkin was efficient. My first impression of my single room was that it was like a student dormitory, […] with hardly space to turn around. The en suite bathroom was better. Breakfast was not included in the price, but you can get a "full English breakfast" in cafes down the street for less that the cost of a continental breakfast in the hotel. PROS: * Location, you can walk to 2 great museums very easily. Van Gogh and Reik (sp?) * One block over is a Madison Avenue of high end stores LV, Bally, etc. * Short walk or quick bike to Hard Rock square area or Apple Store square area which a decent bar/restaurant location. CONS: * Room 114 a single is fine for a 1 or 2 day stay with a larger than […] twin size bed. *Bathroom while newly renovated was tiny with a shower that just didn't have enough separation with a circular curtain. Contrasting to the Albus that had a glass separation in a larger bathroom which was fine * 13e for a 24 hour internet login. The receipt said 256k download speed but was much faster thankfully. OVERALL: good location for a short stay over a Saturday night a competitive rate. Les mer

The hotel was in a decent location for our needs, away from the rowdiness of parts of the central area of amsterdam, but close to museums and the beautiful vondelpark. The first room we had was on the fourth floor and a reasonable size, initially the only problem appeared to be the missus being unable to figure out how the shower worked. We had arrived […] late and the receptionist was very helpful in recommending late opening restaurants nearby. We were there on a hot weekend and when we returned to our too it was apparent that the air con didn't work, which would have made it impossible to sleep. We phoned down to reception and a guy came up who clearly had less idea of how to work it than I did. They were good enough to give us an alternative room, this was in the basement. The room was dark andslightly small, but not too noisy. Not the best room as it didn't have the view we initially enjoyed. Also TVs in the room are really old, small, rear projection, not what you'd expect from alleged 4 star. Also, you have to pay forinternet, which wasn't explained when we got the code. Overall, iI might stay here again, but would look for cheaper options first as it wasn't worth the significant amount paid. Les mer

Generally good. Quiet room with controllable air conditioning. Staff pleasant. Main problem appears to be lack of cleaning staff - 1 night room only partially finished, next day arrived back at 3.30 pm room not done, told cleaning still being worked on, cleaner arrived at 4.45 pm, room ready at 5.15pm - not the standard expected.

I did the reservation thru unpublished rate, i thought that the reservation included breakfast and free wi fi as a 4 stars hotel, however when we arrived to hotel we were informed that the breakfast wasn't included and the wi fi was paid.

Very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and the location is spot on for high end shopping and museum visits (especially the Van Gogh). They also have a fantastic Spa for 2 which includes Jacuzzi, Steam room and Message bed. I would recommend this added bonus at your doorstep. Be a little wary of catching a cab to and from the hotel […] as the plush neighborhood can encourage overcharging. Top Tip: find out average cab fares for your cab journey from the friendly staff. Great staff, and very nice hotel. It is a little out of the city centre, but only 5 to 10 minute walk. The city isn't too large, so you can walk around quite easy if you don't mind walking. It is very to get around though, by bus or more preferably, tram. I recommend this hotel on the above.
