Flott beliggenhet på campus ved innsjøen med mange turløyper, og dessuten rett ved the capitol og hovedgata med butikker og imponerende mange restauranter. Flotte rom, litt lytt mellom rommene. På det første rommet var senga litt liten for meg og min tenåringsdatter, og vi ble oppgradert til et stort, flott rom med en kjempestor seng uten ekstra kostnader.

I really enjoyed my stay as it was close to everything I wanted and was easy to get ariynd the road construction.
"We wanted cheap, and got cheap"
We needed just a place to crash, so low cost was our priority. Super 8 was charging just half of other hotels in area. Everything was satisfactory, nothing special, but a good deal for the price. At breakfast, customers were forced out of dining area due to high-pitched squeal coming from broken rotating toaster oven, and customers were treated to rednecks […] in the parking lot sucking down beer at Sunday 9am, probably to psych up for a day of truck mudding. They were using parking lot as a park and ride and party spot. Time to roust them out of there. Les mer

Not the handyest to get to. Put in a handicap room, dont't know why. Bed was made for next night, but floors were not cleaned. Bathroom floor,shower, and toilet were not cleaned
"Great location, decent hotel"
The hotel is right off the freeway which is nice. There was some construction in the area, but even with that it was easy to get to. With that being said, if your room is on the backside of the hotel (which is facing the freeway) the hotel is so close to the freeway that you can hear a lot of road noise inside your room at night. I wouldn't hesitate […] to stay here again because the price was excellent. I would just request a room on the front side of the hotel. The rooms are accessed from the outside of the hotel, instead of the inside. So your door is facing the freeway. Les mer

Super clean, warm & inviting room. We have stayed at this motel several times and only had one incident that was negative - a very loud, drunk couple fighting. But, the management took care of them, and there was no other disturbance. The continental breakfast needs to be expanded, too. But, the rooms are clean, plenty of hot water and the air conditioner/heat […] source works perfectly well. I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in the Madison area - and have done so! "wheelchair friendly"
For the low price, you can't expect much. But the room was clean. The bed wasn't terrible. But the handicap bathroom was fabulous! So much room to move around in. Though, the bathroom needs more selves to put stuff on. That's my only real suggestion for improvement.

"Will never stay here again!!! Poor cust. service"
Booked hotel due to SNOW STORM and unsafe travel. Rooms are only accessible from the outside, and it was FREEZING in the room. Called for extra blanket as there were none in the room. And despite the fact that there were only five vehicles in parking lot, was told they had no extra blankets and would not take one from another room for my use. Requested […] late check out until 3 pm on second day and was originally told it would be no problem (I wk night shift, so sleep during day). When I got to hotel (checked in at 7:30pm first night), paid for two nights, and was told check out was noon, they could give me until 1 pm on second day, but then would have to charge me $10/hr until my 3pm requested late chkout time. So I agreed and requested no services and do not disturb before 2 pm. Someone pounded on the door at 12:02pm TWICE and WOKE ME FROM A SOUND SLEEP to tell me checkout was NOON! So I cancelled late chkout and left before 1pm on two hours sleep in the snow storm. I will NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel, nor will I ever stay there again. signed, One Very upset nurse Les mer

"disappointed with our stay"
Although we paid a budget rate, we expected more from this hotel. Our room faced a very busy interstate highway with traffic noise keeping us from getting a good night's sleep. The hotel was not half full, so why weren't we placed on the quieter side of the hotel? The pillows were awful... After doubling mine over, it still didn't hit my head! New pillows […] are definitely needed. Also, the bed linens are older with pilled blankets and silky bedspreads. The staff was pleasant and helpful being able to answer all our questions. "Great value for the price"
I stayed here the Friday night before the Nebraska-Wisconsin game and was very pleased with the service at the front desk. The continental breakfast was adequate for my needs. My only concern was that the television reception wasn't great on the set in my room. But I wasn't there to watch tv anyways! I would definitely stay there again.

"Highway Noise"
Motel was very close to the Highway and i could hear traffic all night. Not a good place to get a good nights sleep!!!!!
"Super 8 by the west towne mall"
The mattress was very hard, uncomfortable to sleep on. The location of the hotel was excellent though, right next to the interstate. But our room was on the highway and interstate side, so traffic was loud at night even in our room. All in all it was an average stay, the sheets and bathroom were clean!

"Super 8 East in Madison Wisconsin"
Overall this was quite satisfactory for me, Room was clean, bed comforable and breakfast free. Staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed 2 nights and will probably go back when I visit Madison in the future.

My kids love Super8. We stayed at several on our recent roadtrip and it is their favorite. It must be the waffles at breakfast. This hotel met our needs and if you need a place to stay in or on your way through Madison, it's great.

this motel is just a plain jane, needs some work, needs new people to run, had a race team stay and we stay at a lot of super 8s, if they don't change will have to look at another place for next year.

The room was not the cleanest, there were items under the bed, the person who checked us in had no time for us. NOT FRIENDLY!!! Pillows were horrible.

Good place, No Ref. No Microwave in the room. AC makes really noice. Before going to work I left ac on in really low temperatur so that I don't have to open it in the night. I can't sleep with AC noise, beside that everything was great.

This was an okay place to stay for just an overnight. I chose it because it was close to the airport in Madison and I had a 5 AM flight. The gal that checked me in was very pleasant and made sure that the Green Cab was called for my 4 AM pick up. The room was clean but there were small holes in the sheets and the blanket was wool like feeling and I […] can't stand the feel of wool but the sheets were clean and smelled fresh. There was only a half matress pad. It served my needs. My room bordered the interstate so I was aware of the traffic noise all night. The price was right for an over night stay close to the airport. The AC in the room was off which made the room about 85 degrees and very stuffy when I checked in. There was a pimp and prostitute staying next door to my room (they were in 222). Upon my arrival a white pickup truck pulled up and the gentleman marched right upstairs to their room. I am just glad I didn't stay here with my family. If it weren't for […] the heat and smell of my room combined with the illegal activities next door I would give this place a much better rating. This is the last time I stay somewhere cheap. Would be worth spending the extra coin and avoiding super 8 next time. Les mer

Service was awesome. nice rooms. Next time i want a pool side room but everything was Clean, Close to Downtown but without the hussel and bussel. Loved it will be Back.

When we registered, we asked for a lower level room because I have trouble walking upstairs. Whoever we made the reservations said that would be ok. We also have a small dog - a 10 lb poodle and all he said was 'they are dog friendly and did not mention any extra charge'. Was convenient to freeway and restaurants etc...HOWEVER...there is somthing weird going on in the parking lot. Several people appear to be living at the hotel and have an old U-Haul in the parking lot and are selling stuff out of the back of it....VERY STRANGE. Was a good value for the money otherwise. clean quiet..typical Super 8

"Hotel Staff Lies, Manager won't return calls"
I called this hotel to change my reservation 2 days before my arrival. The person I spoke with said they pulled up my reservation and changed it (changed from two rooms to one room). I asked if the difference would be placed on my credit card. He told me it would. After checking in to the room everything went as I would assume. And a few more friends […] arrived they even asked if their was another room available under my name. The person on staff said there wasn't and booked them a third room. I still have not been refunded for my second canceled room. I have contacted the manager of the hotel a couple of times and he has yet to answer his phone or return any of my voicemails. This is a shady place of business. I wouldn't trust anyone there. The room was also very very small, only enough room to walk in between the beds, so if you have a wall side, you have to wake your bed mate in order to get up. You have a lot of other less sketchy places to stay on the east side of Madison. Keep looking. Les mer

"Great hotel for the price"
Got a good rate for a decent hotel. The room was in a little disrepair (paint chipped off the bathroom door, some obvious wear on the dresser), but otherwise the room was clean and more than adequate. As other reviews have mentioned, it can be a little noisy from nearby traffic at times, but not a big issue for me. Hotel was about 10-15 min from downtown […] Madison and U of W campus, so very convenient. Would stay there again. Les mer
