Holiday Inn Express Boulder - Boulder

Though far from the campus which was the object of my visit, the ease of getting around in Boulder and the relatively quiet location of the hotel made my stay perfectly comfortable.

I loved it here. Room was clean and staff were nice/helpful. 4PM popcorn and 7PM cookies..not to mention the AWESOME breakfast included with your stay. I would totally stay here again.

Staff was very accomidating and friendly and professional. Beds were comfortable, room temporture very comfortable. We had excellent rest. Adjoining rooms worked out nicesly. Cookies and popcorn a nice homey treat.

Holiday Inn Express Boulder is a good place to stay if you do not want to be in the middle of the action which is what i prefer most times. Bus to downtown easily accessible. Hiking and area walking trails very nearby. A couple nice restaurants in easy walking distance. It's quiet although the neighborhood is not that scenic or upscale it is improving […] from what i can see. Also a good price for Boulder hotels. I would recommend it unless you need to be right down town. Les mer

Hotel was great, much further from CU than imagined. Google pulled up a different address when I was booking online. The skip (bus) picks up right outside the hotel which takes you right to the hill.

Overall, my stay at this hotel was fine. The staff was polite and helpful and the room was clean and well appointed. The hot breakfast, however, left something to be desired. On both mornings, the eggs and gravy offered on the buffet was cold. It is an unfortunate blemish on an otherwise pleasant stay.

Room was clean except carpets needed replacing. The hallways and elevators needed cleaning.....

Everything was great about this hotel, but we did have one problem. We stayed there for five nights. The plastic key cards didn't work well in the door lock, and we had to get new ones made almost every day. Very nice. Front desk staff was very helpful. Especially in identifying a wonderful trail to walk or run just a few blocks from the hotel. The breakfast was better than most places I've been to.

I live in Boulder and, therefore, was not all that familiar with the hotels in town. When I had company from back east, I checked things out and chose the Holiday Inn Express because they had a room available when I required it and it was moderately priced. I was more than happy with the service, which was excellent. The room was clean. The daily breakfast […] offered enough variety that you did not have to eat the same thing each day and was tasty. The exercise room was clean and available 24 hours. Common space was available for meetings and my small dog was welcomed with open arms. I will use the Holiday Inn Express again when required. While the rooms had been redone and were pleasant enough, the hallways and common areas had not. The hallways were older and had a strange odor. The air conditioner did not work properly. It was extremely loud, and the air it emitted was not cold. Adding to the discomfort was the fact that we could not open the window more than 3" so there was no viable […] option for cooling the room. The location was a straight shot to downtown Boulder, and the price enabled you to save some money over downtown hotels if you have a car. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it's a viable alternative that will save you some money if you don't mind run down common areas and if you get a room where the A/C works. Les mer

My husband and I stayed here for one night before I ran the Bolder Boulder the next morning. It wasn't bad. Room was clean, breakfast was good. There's a lot of external noise (heard a TON of police sirens) and could hear all doors closing around us, but for one night it wasn't bad.

Aside from a great, comfortable room I was very impressed with the staff. They were very friendly and very helpful.

Stay was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We had our boxer,and hotel was very accommodating. Breakfast was good. Easy walking distance to coffee shop and excellent pizza. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a place in north Boulder.

The rooms are clean comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of choices. It was excellent. On the north side of Boulder, it was very convenient for our drive to Rocky Mountain National Park (about and hour's drive). It is also only about 15 minutes to downtown Boulder. I definitely plan to stay here again!

This is a clean, safe hotel which is fairly convenient to CU.

Good value hotel on the north side of town. Newer condition and clean. Typical under window noisy AC units were the only negative for me.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. My only issue was that the in-room refrigerator was very loud, and kept me awake at night. I don't konw if perhaps something was wrong with it, but I unplugged it overnight, then plugged it back in the morning.

Totally fine. Bed could use an extra blanket. I was cold at night. I did not bother to ask for an extra one, though. I love having the fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. Breakfast was standard.

everything was fine but the best part was being able to have my dog in the hotel...without that I probably would not have stayed there...it was Christmas night that I stayed so I had no real good options for the dog....Thanks for that...love all the coffee bars sitting around..breakfast area was a little cramped for the size of building but well stocked....overall […] a good experience and would recomend it Les mer

It is about ten minutes drive from Pearl Street and downtown Boulder so it is not too bad. The hotel has nothing special but it can be convenient if you are looking for something for a short stay.
