"Just OK"
This was a one night stay after landing in Knoxville. Good for a one night stay. The staff was excellent. They moved us as our neighbors were partying it up. We wanted some sleep ;) I would recommend for an overnighter but that's it ! Nothing great at all. The continental breakfast was good then we were on the road again.

Our group chose the Quality Inn for its close proximity to a baseball tournament we were attending. It is in a great location. You can walk to many restaurants. Our room was very clean & spacious.

The only negative about the room is that it was very small.
Even though we requested a non-smoking room, the room smelled like smoke. There were stains on the comforter and the mattress was too soft. However, the staff was friendly and courteous.

It was clean and comfortable; very good in this price range. The variety in the breakfast menu (hot and cold) was very good as well. If we return to Knoxville, I'll try to book this hotel again.

"Horrid experience"
My husband, 16 yr. old daughter, and myself arrived at 11 pm. We were tired from 3hrs. of riding numerous horses we were considering purchasing. My daughter discovered the toilet had not been cleaned due to the fact that the seat was raised and there was urine all over it. The room was very musty and the bathroom sink had a crack all the way across […] it. We all went down to the front desk and requested another room. The next room had a clean bathroom, but although the bed was made, the sheets were dirty with hairs and spots that I don't care to know what they were. At that point we were exhausted and went down to the front desk and requested that our money be refunded. We tried to get a room next door at the Hampton Inn, but they were full. Soooooo at 11:45 pm we got in our car and drove four long hours home. I will never book at a Quality Inn again. Tthey never apologized for the unclean room, but did give us our money back. Miserable drive home trying to help my husband stay awake. Les mer

"Trouble with check-in"
When we arrived and tried to check-in I was told that my credit card had been denied when I made my reservations on hotel.com even though I had recieved a confirmation e-mail. The clerk requested a different credit card and after trying two other credit cards which I was told were also declined I called my credit card company customer service number […] (my bank was closed) and was told there was no reason my original card should not go through and as a matter of fact the charge for that room was already paid to hotels.com and charged to my account. The clerk still refused to accept this confirmation. I offered to pay with cash but was told by the hotel clerk that they still had to have a valid credit card on file even if I paid with cash. The clerk tried the card again and this time it went through but the credit card customer service representative I had on the phone said it showed I had been double billed. The next morning after the banks opened I found that each card they had tried had been charged for the room. This was reported to the front desk (a different clerk) and I was told that the clerk the previous night had possibly made a mistake reading the computer and that they would take care of the extra charges applied to my other cards. He apoligized profusely but the whole incident was extremely embarrasing (other customers in the lobby) and frustrating. I was very upset all night worrying about problems with my credit cards and if they would work for the rest of my vacation on top of having to pay for mechanical repairs for my broke down transportation...then I find out it was nothing to do with me, my accounts or my cards, just a clueless hotel clerk. The hotel itself was great but hopefully the 1st clerk recieved some registration and customer service training. Les mer

Exceptional room for the price. Rooms are well maintained and attractive, the pool was very nice. Coffeemakers and ironing boards in the room, good breakfast, can't beat it for the price.

Check in and check out hotel personnel were friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and quiet, not on a freeway or main highway. Breakfast was adequate - not as many choices as others we've experienced. Would stay again for one night stay in Knoxville.

This is a decent hotel. It is clean and up to date. Entrance is from the outside. WIfi is great, frig in room...has all one needs (no microwave in our room, others may provide them). The room we had with a queen bed was very small. There is enough room for 2 people, but more than that, better get the larger room. "Just stopping by"
We had not planned to stop anywhere on the way to Chattanooga but my husband pointed out that a day in Knoxville could make the journey less taxing. I was pleasantly surprised that such an affordable hotel was so comfortable.

Breakfast was good. Convieneve was great and close to lots of places to eat. Staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable.

Room was FREEZING cold when we went in! took hours to warm and then the heater kept us awake all night because it was so loud.Unfortunately, couldnt turn it down at all because the room got too cold again. We had to get extra blankets to make it through the night. On the positive side, the room was very clean and the maid service did a nice job.

Hotel was in descent shape, is an old outdoor style inn. The room appeared to be pretty clean, but the coffee pot was not clean at all, and the worst part of all was that the walls are paper thin, and we were stuck with noisy neighbors that would not turn down their music, and the hotel did not seem concerned about it, merely said that most of their […] guests were regulars but they would try to straighten it out... the music never stopped. Next time I will stay at one of the hotels surrounding it... There is a hampton inn right behind, that's where I will be next time, as I had stayed at a hampton the night before in a different state & was VERY impressed. Les mer

"Very pleased"
I booked three rooms for my family. Upon check-in the reserved rooms were on opposite sides of the hotel from each other, but the front desk lady moved them to the same side/floor. The location was very convenient, off the interstate, with lots of restaurants, etc. Our rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable (however, the front desk lady […] did tell us that the company was making them change beds next year.) This hotel is pet friendly and one of the rooms was next to a room whose dog barked all night. Breakfast the next morning was nice, with make-your-own fresh waffles. The staff was very friendly. "nice and cheap"
What can I say it was clean lots of soft pillows and right off the highway. Room was ready at noon which was nice since we drove 12 hours. Great for the price. Plenty of food and shopping close by.

Very nice room for the price. Everything was clean when we got to our room, the staff was friendly, it was a very easy to connect to the internet and was also fast while I was browsing the web. The only thing negative I have to say, is that the free HBO that was offered stopped working a little after midnight, and that was not a big deal really.

The hotel was a good stay for spending 12 hours on the road. The only downside was our room was by the pool and they were having fun at the pool. The noise level was HIGH until 12am. "Be clear on Smoking/No Smoking"
We were put in a Smoking room. Had we been in a non-smoking room, like we requested, it would have been an outstanding stay for the money. Close to some good eating establishments and a quick cab ride to anywhere. The staff is very helpful.
"Nice but loud"
The walls are very thin so you can hear everything going on outside and in the rooms around you. Other than that, it was a great hotel for the price
