I think that some remodeling and hiring some descent looking people to work there is in order.....!! The hotel was not clean at all, the maintenance man left tools on the steps, the steps were really dirty, our room wasn't very clean. The mirrors were dirty, the toilet and sink were stopped up, the remote did not work and three light bulbs were blown. […] Also the lady that was taking care of the continental breakfast was very kind but here teeth were gone and nasty looking ....!! Please go visit that hotel .... Because I won't ever stay there again. My daughter and I went to visit our family and I stayed away from the hotel as much as possible.....! =( Les mer

I went to this hotel to be there when my son arrived back home from Afghanistan. It was comfortable for the price.

A good place to stay...good value, friendly staff, a large and comfortable room. Everyone ensured that we were well looked after and comfortable. Excellent value.

We stayed here to attend a wedding in nearby New Bern, and were quite satisfied. Our room was clean and in good condition, complete with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and the two double beds were comfortable. The motel offered a nice complimentary breakfast with enough variety to suit most people: make-your-own waffles, bagels, muffins, […] toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, juice, and good coffee. the people are nice but the hotel was run down they are very pet friendly the beds are hard

Other than that, there were few redeeming qualities. No elevator, hard to get from the parking lot to the steps to the second floor. Most of the doors on the 2nd floor have been forced open. Our door had a trick to it - scan the card, push down hard, then yank up fast and it would open. The one redeeming quality was the lady who was working at the desk […] at 5:00 AM. Overall, hotel was in "OK" condition... online pictures were a bit deceiving (online pictures portrayed a fairly new accommodation, when in reality, this hotel is a bit run down). Place needs new carpet, new mattresses, new bedding and some minor repairs. This is a great hotel but..... the breakfast was not very good and they stop refilling the food 30 min before breakfast. They also lock the hotel doors by 11:30pm (not mentioned at check in) so me and my boyfriend had to bang on the door to get in since the desk clerk was not sitting in the front.

The room was nice, not as described it said they had balcony. Not ! The staff was very nice and helpful. There were resturants and shopping close by overall great trip.

I was very happy with everything at this hotel. It's not super fancy but it was in good condition and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a weight (exercise) room, a pool, and a very good breakfast. Location is right near a main street.

Small people-friendly motel. Eating area kept very clean and well stocked.

Staff was helpfull but room was terrible with stained bedding, patched dirty walls, and broken ,bathroom tiles. Room was a smoking room which wasn't requested, but smelled horrible even to a smoker.

This hotel had a convenient location for our visit to our son and the air show but service was not good. We did not get the type of room we had reserved even with a call about a late arrival. We could not change due to no vacancies and no cots were available. Our daughter slept at her brother's house the second night. We had a decent overnight stay at this hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

The hotel smelled the moment we opened the front door to the hotel hallway. Once in our rooms (that was a non smoking room), it had a horrible oder that would not go away until we blasted the air conditioning. Also had a baby with us and that didn't make the situation any better. Once ready for bed I got bit by something in the bed and that did it for […] me, we had to leave. Would not reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good nights rest. It would be better to stay at the marriott miles away and just drive into town. Les mer

Liked tge room - it was cleam scent free ( which was impressive for a smoking room) Air Conditioner worked like a champ - Staff was very nice. Kinda cramped parking - not boat or trailer friendly, but can use the backside of adjoining Pizza Hut Parking lot fairly easily Cute little pool - wonderful breakfast choices.
