Enkelt og bra hotell i Europeisk stil (les: litt shabby), meget sentralt. Hyggelig betjening, rent og ikke spesielt lytt. Veldig bra valuta for pengene. Anbefales!

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt til med kort vei til det meste. Komfortabelt, rent og god service. Gratis vinsmaking og nakkemassasje ved siden av resepsjonen fra 17-18 (meget praktisk etter en hektisk dag med sightseeing og shopping). :-)

Et fint og rent hotell med hyggelige ansatte. Ingenting negativt å si om hotellet, men nabolaget har en del uteliggere i noen kvartaler ned mot sentrum. Opplevde derimot ikke noe ubehagelig. Det er også svært kort vei ned til sentrumsområdet og Market street, og taxi er veldig billig slik at man slipper å gå på kveldstid. Fint hotell i forhold til hvor billig det var!

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og opplevelser i San Francisco. Vi trivdes svært godt der, og vil sannsynligvis vurdere hotellet neste gang vi skal til San Francisco. Hotellet er litt slitt, men rent og hyggelig. Personellet er ikke overhjelpsomme, men tar man kontakt og spør om hjelp så hjelper de deg!

This is a pretty cookie cutter Courtyard by Marriott. The same photos, same carpet, same sheets, etc. We found the internet, even on the PCs in the business center, to be extremely slow...hardly better than dial up. Not sure why. They front door is manual--no automatic sliding doors, which is a bit unusual these days. Hot coffee by the elevators was […] a nice touch for my early departure. Les mer

"Convenient hotel"
Overall a very well maintained hotel. There was plenty of parking, the room was very clean, spacious and nice furniture. Also had free Internet service which all hotels should have. There is shopping and restaurants close by. Definitely would stay there again
"First time in this city"
This hotel was very clean, even had real glasses instead of paper cups! It is near a movie theater, shopping and dining. The only thing that we didnt care for was the police helicopters searching for someone around this location.

My family were staying the hotel during UC Berkeley visit. It was a nice surprise as we check in the wonderful lobby ,since I didn't expect too much with the price I payed. The surprise didn't end. You should try the hotel's the most amazing breakfast with made to order omelet and Starbucks coffee! Also, the hotel has Happy hour with free wine, beverage […] and varieties of finger food during evening! The room wasn't as nice as the lobby, but clean and nice. I like the big screen flat TVs, one in the bedroom, the other in the living room. ( I checked in King suit. ) It was unfortunate that I coudn't use the swimming pool and the fitness center ( the fitness center was not very big ) because I was busy visiting Berkeley for the whole time. They are really nice facilities to enjoy during your stay. It was tiny bit inconvenient to go to UC Berkely, since we had to take the Bart and transfer once. Or you had to take a taxi. However, it was a big plus that the Bart station is right in front of the Hotel. I will certainly come back to this Hotel for the next time and recommend others, since our family had a very pleasant stay. Les mer
Hotel stay was very nice, easy access to where we wanted to go, mall was within 5 miles. Was not in room for long periods, only to sleep but was very comfortable and quiet.

I needed a room for 3 adults and 2 young pre-teens, for just one night. We were able to get a room with 2 double bed and they brought us a roll away. The service was nice and there is a small bar/restaurant on site, which is always good. Clean and quiet, as well.

I would agree with most of the other reviewers that said that this hotel was very nice, clean, and pleasant to stay at. I'm not sure what one reviewer was talking about when they mentioned the neighborhood was "bad". It's located right by a large shopping center / mall and across the street from a Chevy's restaurant. It was also close to the freeway […] and we got a great deal compared to some other hotels that were a bit closer to Sonoma. Les mer

This is a fine hotel in a fine location. I might have preferred being closer to U of Cal Berkeley but this was the best trade off of expense and location. There are eateries close by and a Walmart. I have stayed at a couple of hotels closer to Berkeley in the past but they were not nearly as nice as the Courtyard. Having said this everything's relative. […] At this time the Courtyard was competitive with the other hotels in price. At other times prices have been considerably cheaper in Berkeley. Nevertheless this was the best hotel in absolute terms. For whatever reason the maid did forget shampoo one day but I'm not one to go overboard about that kind of thing. "Good place for a short visit."
The hotel staff were great, and the bar food was good with generous portions. Convient to highway but quiet. Walking distance to Hilltop Mall. Our only complaint was there was only one mirror in room (no mirror for makeup) and there was only one electrical outlet near mirror (for coffee maker). Not a female friendly room for makeup, hair, etc. Also […] only a single sink located in the hallway (not in the bathroom). Free WiFi was nice and connect speed was good. I recommend staying at this hotel for UC Berkeley events. It's just a 15 minute drive down the road to the campus, or a 5 minute drive to the BART station with a $1 per day park and ride (which lets you out at the Berkeley campus station. Les mer

"Pretty Good Overall"
Overall, this is a good hotel for the price. It is not far from Berkeley and a short drive from San Francisco. There is a mall (that did not really have any stores I liked but mabye it was just me) and a movie theater across the street. The staff was very friendly and the room was always clean. We got a King with a fold-out couch and there was a fridge […] and a microwave in the room. My only complaints are the card lock on our door was not working correctly and we had to swipe our card anywhere from 5 to 10 times before it let us in the room and the breakfast was too expensive. $10/person is kind of ridiculous. We went to the Wal-mart across the street to load up our fridge instead of shelling out that much for a hotel breakfast. Les mer

Easy highway access, across from Hilltop Mall, Chevy's, and Bank of America. Down street from Applebees, Outback, In & Out, Pizza, Bank, Target, and many others.

First room -- when took bath and air became humid an extremely bad smell of urine came up from carpet. Manager came up to inspect and agreed there was a problem providing another room which was very clean and larger too. Second room was excellent.

We have been staying at Courtyard Marriott hotels quite a bit recently. We used Hotels.com knowing we would be tired by the time we checked, and just needed a nice, clean place to sleep. The hotel chain has been surprisely nice while still affordable, with new facilities, comfortable beds and roomy.

We stayed here after a wedding at the Rockefeller Lodge in San Pablo, closeby, right next to freeway, service was wonderful, the price was perfect, the room was very comfortable and had a fridge, microwave, iron & board, hair-dryer - EVERYTHING we needed including a snack bar in the lobby for a midnight snack AND a fabulous buffet in the morning!
