"A Visit to my Grandmother"
Very clean, welcoming, comfortable hotel very close to Johns Hopkins and environs. Room was pleasant and well laid out - could have used a bit brighter bulbs, however created a nice atmosphere. Bar staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Only down side - gym was full when we were ready to run run run.

hotel is perfect location for us, staff is cordial, lobby is very well kept and pleasant. hallways and rooms could use some update in style but all in all, fine for our purposes.

The hotel wa the perfect location for us. We were within walking distance of the University. We were able to attend the functions and enjoy our trip. The hotel accommodations were great.

"COLONNADE BALTIMORE Not Great"
When I opened the door to my room, it smelled like cigarettes. Was supposed to be a 'non smoking' room. The thermostat was turned up to 75 degrees. Also , the outlets next to bed didn't work.
Our stay at your hotel was just perfect. The room was clean and comfortable and the stay extremely helpful. We will stay again when coming to visit family in Baltimore.

Moderately priced with a good standard of accommodation. Baltimore Museum of Art is only 10 minute walk or driving is easy. Superb collection- probably the best Matisse! Easy bus ride - no 11 - to Inner Harbour - excellent Museums and views. One World Cafe next door to the Hotel with plenty of vegetarian choice and good atmosphere. "Baltimore Doubletree"
In general & overall pleasant. Pros: - loved the coriander & honey toiletries - subtle, not perfumy, which I hate - 24 hr gym - indoor pool, although we didn't get to use. Wasn't open at 8 am, as advertised. - nice area, walking distance to restaurant, shops, Johns Hopkins Con: - bed uncomfortable! - don't believe beds were queen, as advertised, but […] full - speaker in gym blared a foot above my head. Had to listen to MP3 to drown it out. Couldn't watch TV as speaker was competing sound. Les mer

Staff seemed disinterested. One member completely ignored us as we returned to hotel at night, never making eye contact or addressing us. Another, whom we asked for a restaurant recommendation actually seemed 'out of it' - which is all I can say, tactfully. Hotel was very small. Room had no safe - who doesn't these days? "Perfect for a Hopkins visit"
I stayed here for two nights while visiting Hopkins, and the location can't be beat as far as the Homewood campus goes. The room was large and much nicer than I expected. Would definitely recommend this place.

Good comfortable hotel. One glitch. Restaurant was a mess. Breakfast was incredibly short staffed. Total chaos.
"Very convenient"
The Doubletree-Colonnade is comfortable, quiet, and adjacent to Johns Hopkins. Perfect for visiting the campus, as they allow you to leave your car and return after normal check-out time to retrieve it. Desk staff and valets were extremely helpful with directions, etc..... We would definitely choose it again.

"One disappointment/otherwise great"
We chose this hotel for its convenient location and for its swimming pool, however the pool was closed every afternoon 12-5, just when I wanted to swim with my grandson. The hotel could not find reliable lifeguards.

Beautiful hotel, but the beds sagged in the middle and the service at the breakfast buffet was HORRIBLE. Not at all what you would expect for the price and type of hotel.

"poor service and non-responsive"
check in was easy and quick but the check out was annoying. one particular lady at front desk was rather rude and downright lazy to do her job. Extending my stay there for another night was a big challenge and even after giving her 2-3 hrs to do it and after 3-4 calls,she did not do it & I ended up making the reservation online from outside agency.She […] charged the wrong amount for parking and did not reconcile that with parking meter and I ended up paying for it again on my way out. When I called instead of taking care of it she put me on a loop where the calls were going back and forth between front desk and another extension. Worst thing is that, there is no response from the their customer service department after 2 attempts. Les mer

This hotel was very clean, nice, and convenient. The decor was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our son is a student at Johns Hopkins and the location was very convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for a beautiful stay in Baltimore.

The amenities of this hotel were wonderful. It was perfectly located for our visits to Johns Hopkins and Loyola and it was close to shops and dining, BUT we were given a room with one bed when it was specified that there should be two, one staff member was in training and it took forever for her to check us in, we were given a room at the back near […] the truck entrance which was noisy, the snack bar was to be open first thing in the morning, but had a hand printed that they would be back soon(they didn't come back), and when we checked out, they lost our imprinted credit card--twenty minutes later a very annoyed employee found it in a pile of others. Staff was very dismissive and offered no apology for anything! We travel a lot and were surprised by the lack of professionalism at the hotel. We have visited 21 colleges and all the other hotels were very gracious. So we loved the cookies, but now will buy them elsewhere. Les mer
"Beautiful Hotel"
We have been to visit Johns Hopkins University twice. Both times we stayed at the Collanade. We chose it for the location, but ended up loving the hotel. It is beautiful. Wonderful rooms, comfortable beds, great pillows and a great location for us. Starbucks in lobby is nice too.

"Fantastic"
We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and the staff is wonderful. The hotel restaurant is really good, and the other amenities (pool, work out area) are great as well. We visit Baltimore often, and plan on staying here as often as possible.

We have been hear before because it is an ideal location near Johns Hopkins university Homewood Campus. Nice neighborhood with plenty of local shopping and good restaraunts. The suites are nice with large flat screened TV's.

This quaint hotel is located near Johns Hopkins University. Daily parking was steep ($23/night) and when I didn't park overnight, I was able to find a few spots on nearby streets. One nice room feature, a switch inside the room that allows you to choose between "Do Not Disturb" and "Housekeeping. Your selection shows up as lights with the corresponding […] option outside the room. They don't charge for use of the business center, which made printing the boarding pass a breeze. "Great Hotel"
I would definitely stay at the hotel again. The price was reasonable and the accommodations were great. Staff was very friendly, parking was average.. had to use the valet and the wait was over the 5 minutes they quoted, but all in all we have a very nice stay.
